When dinner ended the girls had asked their parents for a sleepover. Citing the fact that they rarely had time together. “Family is so important, isn't it?” Heather had said, and the adults all caved. So while their parents headed home to tend to their menagerie of animals, they were allowed to stay through the weekend.

They stayed up late gossiping and talking about their crushes. Charlotte watched her sister and each of her cousins describe their perfect men as lanky, bespectacled teenagers and had never felt more out of place. But she reminded herself to be more humanlike and tried to brush it aside as they finally tucked in for bed.

The next morning, they headed to the pier in Copperdale. Arriving just as the park opened, they had the whole place to themselves.

The girls marched confidently into the haunted house. Angelica the oldest, assured them it would be childish, so the others tried to be brave, following her lead.

But when the lights went out her younger sister Ophelia screamed and grabbed her arm. They all got spooked, shrieking like banshees. They left ride laughing and teasing one another for their reactions.

They arrived at the Ferris wheel and Alice noticed their uneven numbers and politely stepped aside. “It’s okay, I’ll sit this one out. You guys go have fun.” She insisted.

Just as she finished her sentence, she noticed a familiar face to her right. She turned to run over to him but was stopped dead in her tracks. “Oh.”

He's made out of human determination in Mark's body and became a split personality to him #that's why S-2 and Mark are both corrupted because they're still not compatible to each other in one body #instead of being unstable in physical form. his mind is. because Gaster used a different formula but failed again #Gaster was trying to cure Mark because he was really ill and about to die #I only took the references/theories from the original undertale amalgamation obviously #S-2 was formed from Mark's own negative emotions and personalities then it became its own character #which causes the two (or Mark or S-2 themselves) to self-loathe with each other #it's literally like looking in a window as a mirror talking shit to each other #The real good Mark in this au is Mark himself. he just needs to be set free from this misery (and need to get rid of S-2 if possible)#that's why in my old Mark death posts. S-2 was gone from self-forgiveness meaning Mark forgives himself and deserves to be happy #(because everyone don't deserve to hate themselves)#i'm gonna keep the left eye joke not being available when doing the horror screenface cuz still wanna make it a Mark thing to him #cw horror #cw eye contact

I think.... over the last two days I think I've read just about every Murderbot fic on AO3 that meets all my (current) filter criteria... I'm pretty sure the only one I have left now is a 200k epic....

just a heads up that tomorrow I'm going to only tag real spoilers (major plot points) with "good omens spoilers" instead of literally everything that happens in season 2.

Every post about Good Omens will still be tagged with "good omens" and every post that discusses, or even just references major plot points, will still be tagged "good omens spoilers".

when i first played disco elysium i truly had no idea i was going to play as a detective solving a murder. i knew kim was "lieutenant kitsuragi" but thought nothing of it. literally assumed harry was just a guy doing whatever. no idea why they were together. i sort of knew of jean from the gomf video and thought he looked like an inspector but from some post office or something or a traffic director. i'm sure i saw a couple of fanart of the mercenary tribunal, nodded along, immediately forgot about it.
