i don't like painting very much ... but i will get good
#jay does a think#there's so much more involved in the painting process than there is in the drawing process#but it is. so necessary. because i want to study colour properly. manually#i just gotta improve my observation skills#i think a big chunk of it is that my instructor has very particular tastes#i don't think instructors should grade your work based on their tastes and preferences#cuz then im painting for the class . not for myself#but also painting with other people's standards in mind is also a good skill to learn#why are there so many important things
