Ok so I was tagged by @rabid-radstag to do the list of the 9 comfort characters I have.

Well... by definition a comfort character is someone you relate to, see similarities to yourself into, want to have some sort of a relationship with, or you're just relaxed watching them... and well I don't have any of that XD

Every character I like is mainly just a being that has intriguing or tragic story and a fucked up mental state to analyse for me :/ I'm just like that. I like analysing and questioning things. And for those reasons I look at characters I like with a dose of calculative coldness to uncover their secrets or true selfs. The only characters I relate to are my OCs really XDDDD (one in particular).

With that in mind I'll try to make a list of beings that I like, and I can write all the reasons why.

So starting chronologically:

Starscream - Transformers Prime

Is the worst thing that can happen to you. He's a fucked up guy that is the victim of the even worse and more fucked up conflict that destroyed his home planet. He's unpredictable and really funny sometimes. Watching the series I'm almost always on his side cause the rest of sides are more predictable, easier to read and just more black or white... which is more boring to me than just smol, cowardly decepticon trying his best. I just feel sad and pitty for him and for those reasons would want to hug him... mentaly cause bro I want to be as far as possible from that sharp claws XD

Cyclonus & Tailgate - Transformers MTMTE

Again very interesting observation subjects. I'd be more kin to say they are some kind of the comfort characters (if I'd remember that they exist cause I'm in different fandoms rn XD). They really remind me of the OCs we have with @reallyangryhawk Jay and Chazy (cause of the dynamic they have). But again their stories are tragic and full of pain and wathing them cope in very different ways while being very differend themselves and still together is fascinating to me.

Jay & Chazy

Yes my own OC cause he was the coping mechanism for me and can count as a real comfort character on this list. Jay was my persona for some time and then he helped me much. But after that he evolved, got his own character, story, and life. I still love him to this day. I wouldn't want to meet him tho cause I'd probably be dead. And for huging he has Chazy! @reallyangryhawk OC - sweet roll that I'd stay away from cause I don't want to die XD. Love them dearly even if they are not in the center of my life anymore.

Z2-47 & X9-27 - Fallout 4

They were in the center of my attention for a long time as well. I can't tell I like them as a characters cause they both have like 5 seconds of screentime... What I love about them is the concept of coursers and giving the boys some more depth and personalities to match the stories of synths and their complexity. They are practically my OCs at this point as well as all the SRB departament and the totally different way of making and educating coursers. I love to experiment with concepts and ideas about what the courser program would be... if even Betchesta was more competent... But the boys have of course tragic story and I just cry over them cause come on... They suffer and die a lot.

Nicolò Paganini & Luigi Germi

Hahaha! My current obsession! Idk If they count as a characters as they are a fricking historical figures buf fuck it. My list, my rules XD. So why I like them. The curiosity of the resercher. If you read a biography about someone and it's filled with contradicting facts you get curious. More curious when that happenes again in another book. Then you just notice that almost every information that the reserchers have on the guy are the letters to another... always the same guy, and that, my dear tumblr dwellers, is how to uncover some historical truth and get obsessed with the people you are reserching... and make a content with them cause come on - recognition for the bois XDD. But over all I'd hug Nico very hard (also mentaly cause I wouldn't want to break into his private zone). So yeah I'm again fascinated by them, the relationship they had and the skills they possesed. But again at least Nicolò had the life so tragic I'll cry every time...

So to end this list and have some thoughts about it... Well I guess I like to feel sad and in distress cause all the characters I like are in the sytuation of being in the werge of giving up on life :3
