Anyways, I read r&r as soon as I could and this is no surprise but I am in love yet again 🫶

I just love how we are getting a different perspective of the surgery scene and the scene at Yaga's office. It adds so much depth and I love how Suguru views the reader. Like it feels like a lover, but also kinda like a protector? Idk how to explain it but it's just sweet and you have written it in an amazingggg way. Doesn't feel forced or creepy or anything!

I love how Suguru hates Satoru for causing the s&c reader so much pain but there's also a hint of understanding there? Like ugh my best friend is an asshole but he's my best friend.

And ugh, Yaga has been an asshole, but using the reader control Satoru is just so FOUL Yaga

Okay, I am so so curious about the r&r reader, as if she is hiding something and I just can't wait to see how it turns out. Also, Satoru being so soft with her?? Aaahhhh I need to feel how soft his hands are and also something that's not so soft

And ofc my drug addict man prescribed the perfect dose to the r&r reader, after all, he has years of experience when it comes to handling drugs and he totally did not OD a couple of chapters back🥰🥰

Oh and i am so in love with the r&r reader!! Like she's smart, she's bold but she also gets a little carried away? I guess she's a little clumsy but I am not sure if it's the right word to use here lol. But the way she was showing Suguru how Satoru held her hand like yeah girl sprinkle some salt on that man's wounds😭🤌🤌

Also, I am pretty sure I was grinding like Suguru here because that scene was so fun to read!!

Aaahhhhhh and I love suguru and r&r reader's exchange like pleaseeee 😩😩😩✨✨ Like they are both so witty and match each other's level so well🤌

And then Geto kinda opening up to her in the MRI room despite his initial irritation - like it's the perfect place to have a heart to heart, right Geto?

Then there's the r&r reader and Geto's conversation where she's asking him to hang out. A cute cute scene, Nici, but it also shows that the reader is hiding something that she's afraid of and UGHHHH I WANNA KNOW SO BAD

Also, first the r&r reader called them an old married couple and then in the next scene they behave exactly like an old married couple is so on brand of them lolll. Like making plans to leave the university and all please 😭

I also love how this chapter filled in the missing blanks from the previous chapters yk? Like what did the guys do when Gojo showed up at Geto's door that night, what was Gojo's reaction when he saw that the s&c reader wasnt with maki and group and so on!!

Okay I just want to stress again that I'm not mad at all, and I 100% understand that Anon is just trying to be helpful, but also this is a good time to cover another facet of how Tumblr works and some basic etiquette I really think ALL of us could stand to be a bit better about, especially with all the new people joining as of late.

Due to how Tumblr's reblogging system works there are often several "versions" of a post going around at any given time. It can be as few as one or two for small posts that don't have many comments or don't get reblogged a lot, or as many as a hundred for huge posts with tons of comments and reblogs.

So, you can have a situation like this:

Essentially, OP makes a post that picks up traction. At some point, someone responds and OP responds to them. This chain gets passed around a bit. However, the original version of the post without any added comments is still on OPs blog and showing up in searches, and maybe someone finds it and reblogs and says something funny or witty or whatever, and THAT version of the post blows up, ending up on everyone's dash WITHOUT whatever OP added.

On top of that, edits are not consistent across every reblog of a post. If I go back and edit the original version of this post after reblogging with this comment, the version with this comment will stay unchanged(hell, I'll go add something to the post after this as an example so you can see). This quirk has actually been used to make some pretty funny memes, but it's worth remembering that if I say, worded things a little badly, even if I fix it on the original post, EVERY reblog out there will still exist with the bad wording and STILL BE REBLOGGABLE. You can't even fully delete a post; if it's been reblogged, it's saved. Even if you delete your entire blog those posts will still stay up on the blogs of everyone who reblogged your post. There's nothing you can do about that. Even turning off reblogs won't take the post down, it will just make it so it can't be shared anymore.

So, some version of the above happens and OP then has to deal with a bunch of people in the reblogs and replies and tags and in their ask box asking them why they didn't address x concern or add y context, even though THEY DID, bcs they did on the version of the post most people DIDN'T see, and none of the hundreds of people responding took a few minutes to look through the post's notes or OP's blog to actually SEE if OP had said anything before chiming in. They just assume bcs it isn't right there in front of them on that version of the post OP must not have said it, which is not always the case.

I see this happen all the time on here, on posts about important topics and on shitposts and memes, and like, I know it's not always the end of the world, and we can't stop it from happening entirely, but I just think maybe we should all take a moment to remember that just bcs the version of the post in front of you doesn't have the info on it doesn't mean OP isn't aware of what you want to bring up, and it's worth it to take a second and check to see if your concern has been addressed BEFORE sending messages or leaving a reply.

Interact with notable users here. Hell, they don't even have to be notable! just interact with people you like!

Twitter's algorithm was designed to throw you popular stuff. There's nothing social about how Twitter or Tiktok works. Catering to the meme culture of the internet, the nsfw work, literally anything like that would see "popularity" - that is, internet points. Just like reddit.

The beauty of tumblr is the posts that get popular are because people like eachother here (at least in the little queer/lgbtqia+ circle we're all in). People are a community. My friends and I do witty banter because it's fun and we like talking to eachother like weirdos. Those get popular because people think they're funny. People follow me because they like my content and see me all the time (at least from what I understand - they may just wanna find out what's wrong with me).

You gotta actually put the legwork in if you wanna amass a following. Talent is one thing - if you're talented and your art finds the right people, then yeah, you'll absolutely get spread around.

But if you interact with people and participate in the social part it'll be a lot easier!

MAKING FRIENDS 10000000%!! i always heard people online talking about that and it never really happened to me, but in the past year it's been so amazing to make special friends within the fandom and be able to talk about anything and everything with them

i love @pink-flame so much, anything she writes is pure gold. i also love seeing @thedeathdeelers on my dash all the time, keeping that juke love alive! and i'm so excited that @pawprinterfanfic is back in the writing groove for willex!! (all her fics are also so incredibly good)

i don't really read fics for laughter? i know it's kinda weird but i love angst and love, not sillyness in fics. that said, i am a SUCKER for witty/funny banter, and the wizarding world of food service series has some good ones!!

oh boy! okay, con au running with fire i live like a liar because it was the most worldbuilding i've done outside of a strict au by myself (and also i think it came out well). evil music my beloved! nothing broken (just our minds) is painful but i really liked the tension and the way it continued to ramp up in intensity each time. and then my luke survives au, i miss the days when. definitely one of my more intense and darker fics but i'm proud of how it turned out.

Ok, let me tell my opinion.

First of all, partly I understand why anon is so hurt. Sometimes it's super annoing to know, that not everyone loves your fave the most. But also it highly dependends, what forms your reaction, if there should be an active reaction, takes. Expecially in AkaYona fandom.

There is a perfect canonical example of walking discussion — Su-Won. Obiviously, there are also a plenty of people, who love this character, and plenty, who hate, and from time to time they clash with their metas and opinions. By reblogging each other metas, adding facts, headcanons, quotes, pictures from manga. And you know what? It's super entartaining to read. Like watching someone playing strategical game masterfully. What adds an unique flavour — both sides can be right at the same time at their own rate and both are contributing to solving an utter mistery of what is going on under this king's shiny hair. If anyone needs an example, go to @freewilllife and scroll some [sorry for tagging, but it's far faster on the mobile this way, than adding a link and also that prevents this dumb app from losing half-written post AGAIN]. That's what true AkaYona discussion means. Literally nobody, as far as I noticed, during discussions started to insult their opponent personally, or to yell at one another, or to send hate. Idk, how said opponents are feeling afterwards, but I, as a reader, usualy feel outmost happy and amazed by the wits of duelists I witnessed and probably walked out of the app with new crackfic headcanon idea... or three. So, I want to thank the people, who have different opinions and voice them out. Who takes time to defend or criticize characters and plot points. That's what is making this fandom entertaining, unique place and gives me a quality content to muse over.

Nobody here is irrated by loving Hak and defending him, that anon felt a need for after seeng some metas. What irrates, is the fact, that out of all creative, witty, polite and friendly, benefical to everyone ways to express their opinion, sending hate and calling names was chosen. And policing what other people should ship, think or create can lead to nothing good. So regardless of what anyone think on the matter or ships, most people (me included) are going to be at Mal-nyan's adoptive child's side. Just because the person is polite and creates content with their heart. And is brave enouh to express unpopular opinion and contribute to rarepair without putting virtual sunglasses on.

If you want to criticize characters, that's cool, I did it on many occasions myself. If you want to oppose someone's arguments or create your own, very different, point of view, that's super. It shows, how masterful Kusanagi-sensei is, evoking that many ideas and feels all over the world by her story! Anyway, stating your points is uttery different from harassing or insulting people, who you are disagreed with. Speaking in canon terms, there are different tribes, different kingdoms, different people, different beliefs. But while there are so many different points, something like that is not HBB, nor Su-Won nor Five Stars fractions, nor whoever tactic type. It's something Gobi-level. But while Gobi can make funny faces and gives away Disney villian childhood vibes, anon haters of this sort don't have such a way to entertain fandom. I wonder, why anyone would want to become local faceles Gobi-like cryptid, but with no propouse whatsover instead of, let's say, famous HakYona themed blog. That's mystery. And another mystery is why anyone would be worried about the most popular ship and popular and truly very special and well loved male lead. There is quite a load of content and support. And hugest chances it to be canon. People, loving something else or along are not taking anything from anyone. They just want something for themselfs too.

Also, I can understand, why someone would think about hate as an acceptable way to disagree, since it's natural for majority of fandoms. But AkaYona is not like this. At least, not to this level. As to say, that kingdom has an only law, but this one should not to be taken lightly — it's called mutual respect.

And I want to apologise to anyone, who is tired and don't want to see this topic anymore, but I felt the need to pour it out, so i did. Don't mind this woman.

On a bright side, it's very ironical, that Hak would probably agree on Jae-Ha being a better much for Yona, who deserves only the best. Probably, it's not limited to Jae, but applies to every single HHB boy (maybe but Zeno, too old and too married, who knows to whom and when, he could be a blood relative to the half of Kouka, for all his brothers know). And that's mutual. I wonder, if they would have to tie Hak up to save him from anither pikyuing fit after anything remotely romantic happens. Honestly, they would ship any pairing Yona chose, as long as she is happy and everyone is alive. DDHHB is just this precious.
