gonna be honest i’m SO tired of all the site marketing that’s made a pivot to try to draw people back to the site from the angle of nostalgia and “we’re gonna come back in a big way we prommy” because like. idk man. if you’re subscribed to neopets on social and you’re on the email list i’m gonna guess you never left

#maybe i am too close lmao because i have never left but it feels so weird #especially because it’s narrowcasting imo. dlaw’s nostalgia for the site is different than mine #for me the Peak was like 2007-2010. early customization and like. altador plot/faeries ruin #because i’m younger than he is. and i’m apparently younger than the New target audience for this kids site #why don’t we focus on just making it fun to play instead of saying ‘hey remember this’ bc like #what about people who never played at all!! don’t you want them to come see what the fuss is?#also the whole. counting down to the 25th anniversary since approximately last june. lol. lmao even #i don’t think you can predict a renaissance. that just seems like you’re tempting fate #you can’t call it that unless you’re already in it imo #hrrng
