I’ve seen stuff about Steve trying the “compare our hand sizes” trick on Eddie and usually Eddie’s hands are smaller, and while I totally agree that his palms are probably smaller than Steve’s (Steve was a basketball player AND swimmer, he’s got big ass palms) but Eddie is a musician, and I headcanon him as an artist too, which means that he’s going to have artist fingers. As someone with artist fingers I can promise you that they are weirdly long. So, imagine with me if you will:

Steve is trying to flirt with Eddie and he asks to see how big his hands are. Eddie acts like he doesn’t know what Steve is doing but he does, and he’s super into Steve so he goes with it. Unsurprisingly, Steve’s palm is wider than Eddie’s. To both of their surprise though, Eddie’s fingers are just a little bit longer than Steve’s.

Robin, who is also in the room with them, they just forgot her, is watching them both like she’s at the zoo. She gets to see first hand how both of them freeze while staring at their hands, immediately flush red and pull their hands back. Steve accidentally makes eye contact with her as he’s trying to avoid looking at Eddie and she grins at him so he knows they will be discussing this later over drinks.

(This feeds into my need for Robin and Steve to share many personal things with each other, including any NSFW ideas they have because they share a brain and they like to live vicariously through each other sometimes. So they have weekly sleepovers at Steve’s house where they order take out and get hilariously drunk and talk about their crushes. I have more thoughts about these sleepovers so, be ready for that in a bit I guess?)
