Just out of curiosity because I only just realised you’re 18 and got a shock... how long have you been doing digital art? As a prev asker has commented, just mind-boggled over your art ability...

oh wow thank u so much !!! i first tried digital art when i was about 10, so 8 years! i started out on those free sketchbook apps on ipad that you use with your finger. abt 3 years ago i got an ipad pro and procreate (best £3 app of my life)

tbh i only feel like i’ve fully ‘mastered’ digital art recently and even then i have a ways to go. i was teaching it all to myself and didn’t think to look at tutorials or anything, so it probably took longer than it should’ve? but like, only this year i tried lighting effects etc, so clearly i’m no digital art connoisseur 😭

but age doesn’t rlly mean anything when it comes to art, i’ve been practising digital for a while now so that’s why i’ve got a decent grasp of it. this is gonna sound like a brag (promise it’s not... well, maybe a bit) but if im being completely honest i also just think i develop my art at a steady rate which has allowed me to be where i am with it now? eg these messes below

(oh god old art) ANYWAY every year i p much have a moment of “fuck this shit im changing my style”, usually around april?? i h8 my style rn so i’m waiting on next april hellooooo.... but yeah, basically be proactive in trying new styles/ideas in order to improve?? idk im just a bitch who does this for fun
