So once upon a time an invitation for a bridal shower arrived at my house and, in addition to the usual items, it included a blank recipe card and a request for the recipient’s favorite recipe so the newly marrieds could start building a recipe collection.

I always really liked that. And I am not getting married but I am setting up my first very own kitchen and I’m going to have to put food in it at some point and so I thought I might reach out to you, my dear tumblr bros, and ask:

Please send me your favorite recipes so that I might cook real food and not just regress to spaghettios and hunks of cheese.
