#velociraptorisms#bg3 spoilers#( will write proper headcanons when im not so eepy but#i really do think bc emp was enthralled by the absolute–#that it warped his perspective on being an illithid#i believe the tadpole and memories of him being balduran are at war#he loves adventure he loves freedom#and the tadpole loves its power and loves being an illithid#i do think if he wasnt a thrall and had his freedom right away#he'd be balduran but slimy™#but nope he does have an elder brains influence and it shows!! )
