one of my coworkers is dead set on opening her Own english kindergarten hagwon (dont know why) (i guess if you cant beat demons you join them) and i was talking to her about my daydream of starting to teach some private lessons in art and how I could teach just 3 classes a day instead of 5 and work a total of like 6-7 hours a day instead of 11 and she was like "well why dont you just come work at my school?" (mind you, doesnt exist yet) "i could make sure you only teach art and i would pay above minimum wage" ("above minimum wage" to her means "not even 2 million for the korean teachers") (we make 2.8-3.2 million right now, she intends to pay less) anyway i just was like. with my independent 3-class-per-day schedule at half capacity i would make 5 million won before taxes. would you be able to pay me 5 million won per month? and she was like. uh. maybe
