ZHONGLI.

Zhongli is no stranger to death.

He has seen so much of it, caused even more. Slayed gods and miasmic monsters and creatures of the Abyss. Cut through flesh and bone and dark matter. Seen the end of civilizations and nations and friends. So, so many friends. He remembers all of them — Guizhong, Havria, Azhdaha, Skybracer, Seagrazer. He remembers them like a list, a proclamation of names. Adds a new name at the end every time someone in his life passes. Repeats it to himself. Repeats and remembers and repeats and remembers because that is all he can do.
