what are some character relationships you wouldve loved to see more fleshed out or seen interact mine was who i wish were more fleshed out was team 8 honestly the other teams relationships besides team 7 i felt like were so underdeveloped but some how team 8 has a special place in my heart

i also wish team 8 had more focus dont get me wrong. i think they couldve had a lot of depth and interesting interactions bcos theyre a team made up of the heirs of some of the strongest konoha clans(the hyugas, the aburames, and the inuzukas) and they all have really cool and unique clan techniques that we dont get to see utilized much! team 8 is so full of weird middle schoolers who want to Kill i love them i wish we got to see more of them. theyre all so nurodivergent <33

PERSONALLY though i wish we got to see more of team gai T_T theyre all so insane PLUS their focus on taijutsu(or bukijutsu, in tenten’s case) is so refreshing, especially in shippuden where everyone is using crazy jutsus and power ups. almost every time they show up theyre relegated to comic relief, i just wish we got to see some of their more serious moments, along with their combat skill and teamwork. i think team gai probably has one of the strongest friendships out of all of the teams, and i wish we got to see them kicking ass and being besties ;__; especially if kishi really wanted neji’s death to hurt and have some weight to it and not just to artificially raise the already bloated stakes and give him a convenient out to fixing the branch family problem lol.

i get naruto is the story of, well, naruto and therefore team 7 by extension but i wish that we had gotten to see more of the other teams! bcos tbh once shippuden hits theyre all pushed aside for the soap opera that is sasuke and naruto's relationship. we get to see some very cool initial uses of everyones powers in the chunin exams as well as during the sasuke retrieval arc, but after that their screen time is cut down so much we dont get to see them :[
