🔁 A fic you’ve re-read several times

i’m a serial bookmark re-reader, but I will go with ‘reach for me and bridge that dark divide’ by Ariaste, Wonderful xiyao fic. so soft. Lxc makes me fall in love with him over the course of the fic.

I’ll also add ‘10 Things I Hate About Dating at Gusu Academy’ by KouriArashi bc the jgy drama in it is impeccable. i’ve read it minimum 5 times. most likely more

📚 A fic you wish you could display on your bookshelf

Easily ‘Jade and Fire’ by Wanxin. when i tell you ive been reading this since 2022 and i am willing to wait Years for it to finish. If/when it does it is the fic i would be willing to pay to get bound into a book.

i am so conflicted abt Wen Ruohan in that fic, you love him and you hate him both with such intensity.

😭 A fic that ripped your heart out (but it hurt so good)

Most Definitely ‘to the act of making noise’ by words-writ-in-starlight. i re-read it like 2 weeks ago and i was crying silently wt like 3 am. very heartfelt fic w lsz as the pov character. i don’t read a lot of wangxian nowadays but damn this hits HARD. it’s a happy fic tho i was simply overwhelmed w feels.

💌 A fic that inspired you to create something for it

i’m not much of an artist or writer.. so i don’t do much creating. but i think reading ‘Favor’ by venndaai reignited the hunger games brain worms in me and made me plan out my own Hunger Games au for xiyao.

it’s a rly good fic and i am always taken aback by the ending (you’d think id remember smth that’s made me cry so much). i reread it recently and it made me appreciate the fic even more. highly recommend !
