#i did my first gross on a macerated stillbirth (19 wks) yesterday at work and deadass i did not expect its bones to be squishy so i#accidentally compressed its chest and i screamed IM SORRY 2 my coworkers#u just never expect bones 2 b squishy#im trying to be respectful ofc but sometimes its like. a visceral reaction#it also had only one leg and a huge omphalocele (abdominal defect where everything protrudes thru in a sac)#which didnt help my unease#if anyone was wondering they did genetic testing and the baby had t21 (down syndrome) idk what happened w the leg though
