Like. As a screenwriter I just can’t wrap my head around how ppl think a Roman death could possibly be written this season in any way that works. Violent death/being murdered wouldn’t happen/would be corny if it did/would spark a whole other plot thing that couldn’t be resolved this late in the game. Pill overdose wouldn’t happen bc people are sort of misreading the whole pill thing anyway and again it would be very sudden & OOC & corny. Any sort of suicide would be uncharacteristic for Roman too because he’d see that as a ‘failure’. Even if none of this was the case & there was a pathway for a good Roman death & a narrative reason for it (neither of which currently exist) it would also be an awkward repeating of the extremely recent emotional beat of grief from episode 3 — and probably would lack impact/feel weird as a result. What are they gonna do, Connor’s wedding the sequel? In the same season? Sorry there is just no scenario where I see a Roman death working or being narratively satisfying or making sense on any level and when I see ppl talking about it I think “what are you on about”
