In this verse, March 7th originates from a fragment of Elysia's soul—the co-founder of the Thirteen Flamechasers, the bearer of the Ego signet, and the Herrscher of Human: Ego in Honkai Impact 3rd.

Like March, Elysia is an ice damage-based archer with unique pink and blue bicolored eyes. Her warm and playful personality allows her to get along with just about anyone, making her well-loved within her dysfunctional circle of friends. She is also very feminine, and enjoys cute and beautiful things.

In the Previous Era, Elysia allegedly perished at the hands of Kevin Kaslana, the leader of the Thirteen Flamechasers, on his birthday March 7th. Her soul was reclaimed by the Sea of Quanta and reincarnated into the many bubble universes created by the Imaginary Tree, where the girl who would later be known as March 7th was found and retrieved by the Astral Express in the world of Honkai: Star Rail.

Elysia's Herrscher core and signet containing her memories and proof of existence are locked away deep within March's consciousness. The intricate flower-shaped stigmata on her back ( which she mistakenly refers to as a birthmark ) is evidence of the wellspring of power that sleeps inside her. Welt Yang manages to convince the Nameless to keep March aboard the Express in order to monitor her closely, as the former head of Anti-Entropy was all too familiar with the destruction the Herrschers—the envoys of Honkai—unleashed upon his own home world and countless other civilizations.

March would become the first Herrscher of her world and inherit the title of Herrscher of Human: Ego, much like how Raiden Mei succeeded Elysia in becoming the next Herrscher of Origin in HI3. Not only was March conceived by the Imaginary Tree as a result of Elysia's wish to become human, but her existence would also serve as a beacon of hope for humanity to unite against the Honkai responsible for the Stellaron crises plaguing their dying universe.
