thinking abt a comment i got on a fic like 2 years ago. and literally all the commenter said was "MORE NEOW 😡" . That exact phrasing. W/ the angry face.
psa to all fic readers: do not do that.
#i got so pissed off by it i decided to put the next chapter on pause out of spite#is that an emotionally mature thing to do? no.#but i already got so many comments demanding and begging for updates#and quite frankly. i am a human being who does not want to be treated as a machine pumping out content for ur obsession#i write for my own enjoyment and share it bc im passionate#i love small fandoms where we exchange comments and such#but this was in a big fandom and i was not there for anyone. I wasn't there to please anyone or cater to any of the many ppl#who read that fic#i also said several times that i was dealing w/ writers block#anyway. don't be a fucking dickhead to fic writers#if not bc we're just ppl w/ a hobby. then bc some of us have strong emotions and an occasional mean streak#i deleted that comment immediately but like. 🖕#me
