#ffiv#ff4#final fantasy iv#ff4 cecil#ffiv cecil#cecil harvey#ff4 rydia#ffiv rydia#rydia of mist#i definitely found rydia and cecils relationship to be rather interesting#it started out pretty awful#what with cecil being responsible for the destruction of rydia's home and the death of her mother#yet he becomes her protector and even defends her from his countrymen#and as the story goes on they learn to trust one another#ffiv's story is one of forgiveness and redemption their relationship is a prime example of it#also#i hc that as a dark knight cecil has a lot of trouble sleeping#hence the eyebags#if the dark whispers of his powers don't keep him up#the nightmares of his past actions will
