🔥 Any of the current main leaders of the Horde/Alliance

Send me a “ 🔥 “ for an unpopular opinion.

I’ll do one for both factions just because they both have shit leaders. It was hard to choose just one since both factions have had their fair share of crap leaders so enjoy.

For alliance, I’m going with Tyrande. Tyrande just seems .. I don’t know, selfish to an extent? Especially after that entire questline in Val'sharah is when I really disliked her. Before, I was mostly indifferent to her but that storyline really took the cake as far as worst zone in Legion. Beautiful scenery, shit story. I just feel like she worried more over Malfurion than Ysera, who was corrupted and then died. Seriously, immediately after Ysera’s cinematic she immediately went back to “we have to find my husband!!”

And listen, I’m totally for pure, wholesome love and all but when you’re putting other people’s lives at stake over it that’s when I start questioning it which is basically what happened with Tyrande and Malfurion. I do understand, to an extent, on why she was adamant about finding Malfurion but the fact she basically didn’t have any regard for both Ysera and seemingly the player, at least from the impression I got, says a lot.

For Horde, honestly I considered going with Gallywix for this one but thinking more about it I don’t think it’s fair. To me, he falls under the type of being a good bad character. He’s the epitome of shit and he’s supposed to be. So thinking about it and as much as I’m aware it’s been oversaid at this point I gotta go with Sylvanas. Nothing against those that rp her, i actually follow one or two who do and love their content with her, but how BLIZZARD has written her is so god awful. And this is coming from a fanboy of hers from back in BC. I LOVED her back then, even made an undead because of her.

It wasn’t really until the end of Wotlk that I really started ..not caring for her. Ever since then, she’s basically been this character that’s so bent on vengeance and her own personal gain. I feel they just took her in a completely different direction suddenly and that makes me sad, she was such a good character in the beginning. But… that’s blizzard for you.

Then Cata happened and it just solidified the fact I no longer cared for her after her actions against the worgen in Gilneas. Look, I’m not exactly a fan of Greymane either but that was SO unnecessary. Someone had made the point in a post I saw awhile back that Sylvanas used the blight in that battle as a last resort. She was losing and that was her last stand. I get that but the fact she invaded their lands and wanted to take it for her own people was kind of fucked up. Im aware there could be a faction debate here but just the way she acted overall throughout that expansion was not good.
