honestly it's been pretty plain in regards to what i'm learning, haven't found some interesting topic to latch onto on my own in quite some time.

there's the subject matter of the english presentation i mentioned in the discord lol, but the topic is kinda depressing ("which is more important to the progress of humanity, learning about the acts and lives of the villains or the stories of the victims?") it was the final project for a novel we read which took place during the 1945 evacuation of east prussia during the war and the sinking of the wilhelm gustloff, which was the deadliest maritime disaster in human history, yet i'd never heard of it until we read the book. it's super interesting and i had a great time during the unit even though the book itself wasnt my favourite
