mostly I'm writing this as fun extra facts you get bc there's probably going to be no actual sex scenes in rentalcar bc I don't wanna learn how to write them. and while sex is not interesting to me in the slightest, I find kink Fascinating so that's mostly what this post is about lmao

so we can all agree that quinn has a vampire kink and all that entails. blood and biting and claws and such. more broadly quinn is a monsterfucker, so is very into nat's monster mode and all THAT entails. there's something about the danger and surrendering oneself to circumstances that scratches an itch for quinn. in their day to day they have to be In Control all the time and prefer having others under their thumb, so it's a relief and a rush for them to surrender control. it feels sexy and dangerous

so in book two when quinn and alex get mind-controlled / puppeteered by ethels and alex is almost forced to kill quinn, quinn is primarily worried about alex of course, but much later they're privately like..... okay so that DEFINITELY awakened something in me

nat can infuse quinn with the garble and then take it out safely, so he and quinn can do a bit of playing around with mind control. nat is not INTO IT into it but he's willing to indulge quinn a bit. and related to this and the whole giving up control thing, quinn is into cnc for sure. both with the mind control, with nat essentially forcing them to perform (pre-determined) acts on him, and with nat's feeding. quinn essentially just goes "yeah you can literally just bite me and drink from me whenever you want, you don't have to ask. actually I'd prefer it if you didn't" and nat is like. um. fear. but eventually comes round to the idea. initially just very gentle bites and constantly checking in to see whether this is okay, and working his way up to just sort of grabbing quinn and chomping down whenever wherever haha

NOW WE TALK ABOUT NAT okay so this boy has a raging praise kink. or maybe it's more accurate to call it a worship kink? of course he loves being told he's doing a good job, he's a huge people pleaser, but sexually he just wants to be admired and adored, wants to be told he's perfect and that anyone would be lucky to care for him and serve him. boy feels like trash most of the time n having someone worship him and treasure him is such a rush. so he really doesn't mind using a bit of mind control to make sure quinn is adoring him in the best possible ways, they both get something they want out of it. nat likes the fantasy of being powerful and even cruel, like, quinn can basically go "hey you should be able to murder and eat whoever you want and violently play with your food n tear it to pieces and those people should understand it's an honour" and like nat would NEVER but it's fun in the moment haha

also final thought

alex makes an offhand comment about how monster mode nat could swallow quinn whole at one point and quinn is immediately like wait am I into vore
