The au in which hylia is teh one who sealed or cursed Y/N. After discovering this the chain decided since to side with the villain of their stories for example. Skyward sword link works with demise and so on.

Aaaah, makes more sense. But still not clear enough? (Wait did I write this Au?) most of final big bads are uh…dead? So they can’t just resurrect them all Willy Nilly.

Cause yes, With Sky

Sky’s trust in Hylia is shattered when he learns she orchestrated (Y/N)’s suffering.

And he seeks out Demise, swallowing his hatred and disbelief to work alongside the Demon King.

And while working with Demise’s forces, Sky becomes hardened and more brutal.

Sky’s newfound drive may even surprise Demise, who quickly recognizes Sky’s tactical mind. Sky uses his knowledge of Hylia’s weaknesses, strategically placing Demise’s forces where they can inflict the most damage on her temples and followers.

But honestly? I doubt Demise survives, Sky

isn’t siding with Demise in spirit but probably manipulates their partnership to weaken Hylia. He gives Demise enough power to serve his plan, sowing just the right amount of discord to make Hylia vulnerable without letting Demise gain full control.

And while subtly sabotaging Hylia’s temples and weakening her mortal influence,

Sky’s primary goal is still to kill Demise, only after he’s used him to dismantle Hylia’s power. Sky plans to drive the final blow himself. (She probably escapes anyway. Much to his rage)

With Warriors

Warriors would joins Cia and Ganon, leveraging his knowledge of Hyrule’s soldiers to disrupt and weaken them.

Well, he’d play the part of hero until Ganon shows up and then just joins up with him…..or maybe…no…nah he has to wait, Cia would have spotted it before the darkness split her. (He still doesn’t like Cia tho)

Warriors knows every tactic the Hyrulean army will employ, and he’s relentless in using that to his advantage.

He becomes a spy within Hyrule’s ranks, (he can’t be a traitor if HYLIA betrayed him first. Thems the breaks) sending misinformation and sabotaging missions, all to bring Hyrule’s forces to its knees for (Y/N)’s sake. Warriors never falters, his loyalty to (Y/N) driving his every action.

Honestly Warriors pretends to remain a loyal soldier to Hylia’s cause within the Hyrulean army while secretly coordinating attacks that amplify chaos, allowing Ganon’s forces to strike where it hurts Hylia the most. He’s playing both sides.

Considering he’d make a brief trip to Skyloft, (and Nintendo never makes things clear about time periods.) I’m gonna assume each era is close enough to the heroes of the era that it wouldn’t be odd that Sky could send messages to Warriors.

He won’t hesitate to manipulate people he once considered friends if it furthers Sky’s plan to weaken Hylia, prioritizing (Y/N)’s rescue over everything else.

With Time

Time would see Ganondorf as a means to an end. He joins Ganondorf’s cause, using his knowledge of the temples and sages to disrupt Hylia’s carefully laid plans.

To Ganondorf’s forces, Time is terrifying, silent, calculated, and nearly impossible to predict. He holds a deep, simmering rage within.

And just in case anyone asks, within the mask, the Fierce Deity watches Time closely, seeing how the hero’s loyalty to his sword brothers contrasts sharply with his rebellion against Hylia. While Fierce remains bound, observing Time’s darker decisions with approval, he’d subtly align his energy with Time’s intentions, lending strength where it’s needed most. (Gotta protect his vessel ya know?)

Fierce Deity understands vengeance, perhaps better than anyone else. Even without communicating directly, Time can feel this resonance. There’s an unspoken agreement, Fierce supports Time’s defiance against Hylia’s will, seeing it as a just rebellion.

Time might notice that the power of the Fierce Deity feels especially potent when facing those aligned with Hylia or when defending his brothers. Fierce Deity’s own ancient rage fueling each strike.

While fighting beside Ganondorf, Time would have to craft a careful facade, (kinda like Sheik except he doesn’t have a magical disguise to hide his features….does he??) and considering the war of eras, he’d also be able to help Warriors with his side of things.

Ooooh the heroes that join Warriors could easily play the part of brainwashed heroes~

With Twilight

Well, bitter and heartbroken isn’t enough describe his feelings. He’s been heartbroken once by Midna. And maybe for a brief period of time, he genuinely thought (y/n) left him too.

So to find out Hylia was the one to take her away was….the limit.

So he’d strike a deal with Zant and Ganon.

But given Ganon probably still hates the hero cause of Time’s little act of slaying. So he’d side with Zant for a while.

He and Zant would create a network of darkness across Hyrule, corrupting places once sacred to Hylia I suppose? (Aw but I like Midna….)

His ferocity increases tenfold, and he finds bitter satisfaction in seeing the land Hylia cherished crumble under his hands.

He just wants his darling back.

With Wild

Well….Wild’s trust in the goddesses was already unsteady before with his own insecurities and self-doubts, but now it’s shattered, leading him to align with Calamity Ganon’s essence.

Not much going on since Ganon destroyed everything already and Flora is holding Ganon back. I mean, he’d wait until she couldn’t hold him back no more and then just switch the chaos?

He probably infiltrates the Yiga Clan, rising to a powerful position within their ranks to wreak havoc.

With Legend

Legend throws his loyalty to….i guess Yuga? (Boy he has a bunch of journeys.) seeing in him a chance to finally defy Hylia.

Or rather, he’d aid Lorule in gaining Hyrule’s Triforce. OR maybe he can’t…

…actually…maybe he just speeds up the poisoning of the land. Make it more Rulie’s era, after?

With Hyrule

Well Hyrule has always carried a subtle skepticism of authority (have you SEEN his era??) , so learning that Hylia, the goddess he once revered, is responsible for (Y/N)’s suffering would strike a chord.

This betrayal would make him question every act of loyalty and every sacrifice he made in the name of serving a higher power. He would quickly become resolute, deciding that any being capable of such cruelty doesn’t deserve his allegiance.

Hyrule’s protectiveness over (Y/N) would intensify. He would view (Y/N) not only as someone he cares for but also as someone wronged by a divine power. He’d become ruthless in his pursuit of freeing (Y/N) from Hylia’s influence and would stop at nothing, even if it meant forging dark alliances and exploring forbidden paths

To stand against Hylia and her agents, Hyrule would seek out shadow magic, using it to level the playing field against holy magic and divine forces. While he might initially be cautious, his dedication to protecting (Y/N) would outweigh his reservations.

Hyrule’s gentle spirit might begin to darken as he moves down this path. His compassion would remain, but his disillusionment would leave a lasting effect, making him wary of kindness that comes without reason and promises that seem too good to be true.

He’d become a hardened figure, mistrusting of any higher power and willing to destroy anyone who stood between him and his goal.

With Four

Four’s fractured self allows him to see all sides of Hylia’s betrayal, making him perfectly suited to side with Vaati and , Shadow.

Each color has a different way of undermining Hylia’s forces. Blue is calculating, Red is fiercely defiant, Green becomes a spy, and Violet dives into dark magic.

Together, they are a force of chaos, and their unpredictability makes them especially dangerous. So long as Vaati can guarantee (y/n)’s return and safety, he doesn’t care what he has to do.

With Wind

Wind is lured into Ganondorf’s cause, using his knowledge of the Great Sea and islands to spread rebellion among those loyal to Hylia. (Which aren’t a lot given most don’t remember Hylia in that era. But it doesn’t make it easier for him to make her out to be the devil.)

Wind adopts a reckless, defiant attitude, channeling his anger at Hylia into everything he does. He becomes powerful weapon in Ganondorf’s hands. (But remember folks, the heroes loyalty only stick to eachother and ABSOLUTELY their darling so Ganon dies if he can’t deliver on his promises!)

Chapter Fourteen: ‘Distractions’ Bridgerton Au!Anakin

a/n: first of all i would like to say a big thank you to all of you 🙌 you’ve gotten me to 300+ followers 🥹 i wanted to get this out sooner as a treat but i knew it’d be much more of a gift if i waited and put all my focus into this💋 that being said this chapter has smut 👀

one would think with three heads working on all the preparations to be done for the big day it would be fast. you quickly realized how wrong that thought was, so much to be done in such a short amount of time. you probably would of had more time had you not spent so long avoiding the problem and pushing people away but you tried your best not to dwell on something you could no longer change. No you had much more pressing matters to attend to like planning a ball and a race. oh and figuring out what to do with the now former members of the royal court who’d betrayed the kingdom.

the simple solution would be off with their heads- a solution you secretly favored, it seemed right to you. an eye for an eye kind of deal, and they did kill your father. unfortunately it was your father who’d put an end to the death penalty and to bring it back for the death of a monarch- the same monarch who spoke of his people as equals, would suggest that his murder weighed more than if someone of the Ton was murdered and their killer was caught.

which in a way his death did weigh far more but that wouldn’t make it any less of a scandal in the eyes of the people. not to mention Lady whistledown would have a field day, she was quickly becoming one of the number one tabloids for all of the hottest news. it would be easier to look over if everything she wrote wasn’t true in a sense.

so now you’re stuck with the choice of damaging Alderaan’s image, one of peace and equality or resurrecting the old image of Alderaan your father fought to change. the Clock was ticking and everyone was watching, waiting for the next course of action. to simply throw them in a prison didn’t feel severe enough for the crime that was committed, personal bias or not they killed a king.

to distract yourself from the passing time you focused your energy into working on the ball with Padme. was it working? not at all but you liked to pretend it brought you at least some piece of mind. picking out color themes and what food was to be served, you ended up consulting Anakin quite a lot to your surprise- not because he had good taste in decorating but mostly because he’d attended enough balls in Tatooine to provide you with an idea of certain differences you could possibly include.

your goal was to find a way to intertwine both Tatooine ball traditions and Alderaan ball traditions. that was the whole point of hosting the Tatooine races in Alderaan to begin with, to unite the two kingdoms and become closer ally’s outside of a simple marriage arrangement- and of course showing them that all was well. the new king still lived and what happened in the past was not affecting the current.

you’d already written to Anakin’s parents to flesh out the details, and as it so happens they would all be coming to both view the races and join in the ball. so yes maybe you also wanted to impress them, and make them feel more welcomed. this would be the first time your meeting his father and sister after all. although you weren’t really scared of meeting his father at all, it was his sister you worried about.

you knew from what Anakin told you before that she was a good person, but you also knew from what he’d told you that she wasn’t exactly keen on you yet. that was an added pressure for the day to come, but Anakin repeatedly assured you that Ahsoka would go easy on you. which to be honest did not do that much to ease your mind but as he put it you’ve done nothing wrong and shouldn’t have reason to worry. which of course is easy for him to say as he knew the full story whereas you weren’t even sure Ahsoka knew you weren’t the one who made the arrangement to marry him.

the only thing you didn’t technically have to worry about was the races, Anakin was handling all of that himself- occasionally consulting you when needed. that of course didn’t stop your mind from thinking something might got wrong. Anxieties plagued your mind more often than not.

it was late as you found yourself mindlessly tracing circles on the desk in your new study- you couldn’t bring yourself to step back into your father’s after everything that happened, it was too much. you found grief strange in that way, what once brought you comfort as if it were a piece of him left behind was now tainted with the stains of a previously unknown tragedy. even looking at the door of it evoked a heart wrenching emotion from you. “you seem stressed” Anakin’s voice pulls you from all of the thoughts in your mind, looking up at him from where you’re sat as he enters the study closing the doors behind him.

had he even knocked? you weren’t entirely sure but even if he had you doubt you’d have heard him. “how can i not be” you huff letting out a small sarcastic chuckle before leaning into the palm of your hand, watching him as he now rounds the corner of your desk.

standing behind you he places his hands onto your shoulders, gently massaging the exposed skin. the robe that had covered them was resting on the back of the chair, you’d gotten hot with it on and didn’t think anybody would be up late enough to see you in just your nightgown. “well maybe i could help?” he offers his voice raspy from sleepiness. it brought a chill to your spin, your skin prickling with goosebumps.

“how could you possibly help?” to the defense of your oblivious nature, it truly was late in the night and you really weren’t thinking straight. your question doesn’t go unanswered even though he laughs, leaning down so that his face was at the crook of your neck.

warm breath fanning over you as he speaks “well i am your husband there’s quite a few ways i could help, the one i have in mind however could also serve as a nice distraction.” you feel your face heat up as you realize what he’s hinting at, you find yourself unsure of what to say or do.

he places a soft kiss to your neck as he waits patiently for you to react. turning in your seat to face him completely as he stares down at you, the look in his eyes making you burn. the usual pale blues swallowed by blown pupils, he was being completely serious and you felt your stomach swirl.

as a women you aren’t entirely taught as to what happens in the bedroom- society often shuns it, though thankfully for you Padme had given you a brief rundown as to what happens so you weren’t entirely left in the dark. an explanation however never translates to how it’ll truly feel, what you where currently experiencing for example was entirely new and barely anything had happened yet. it was strange but you felt thrilled in a way, excited for what could possibly come and also nervous. a very odd combination, but as the silence dragged on and the look in Anakin’s eyes burned hotter you felt your mind run blank ready to allow him to guide you completely in this moment through each new feeling.

you give him a soft nod that makes him smile, taking your hand into his and gently tugging you to your feet. “let’s take this to a more comfortable place then” he keeps hold of your hand as you walk out of the study and down the halls towards your bedroom, mindlessly rubbing circles with the rough pad of his thumb. it was silent in the castle, all of the servants sleeping.

the only thing you could really hear was the sound of your own heart pounding in your chest the closer you got to the room, you started to grow nervous again and you could only hope Anakin hadn’t noticed. ever the intuitive person the second he turns to you as you enter the room and the door closes he notices immediately. “you alright?” he asks concerned, cradling the side of your face with one of his hands.

you nod whilst leaning into his touch, he stares at you for a moment in deep thought before he speaks up again. “y/n if we’re going to do this i’m going to need you to use your words okay?” he phrased it as a question but you could tell by the tone of his voice it was a command. “okay” the response came out quieter then you’d meant, you couldn’t bring yourself to speak up though.

feeling shy from the intensity of his stare and power behind his words. “do you trust me?” he asks with a tilt of his head, moving his hand down to the base of your neck.

“this is my first time-”

he cuts you off with a chuckle “that’s not what i asked.” there’s a brief silence before you answer “i trust you Anakin.”

his eyes trail down to your lips as the words leave your mouth. “have you ever thought about it?” the question makes your face burn again, had you thought about it before? maybe a little, mostly out of curiosity. since marrying him however, well you’d be lying if you said you haven’t thought about it more often than you should.

“is it going to hurt?” you dodge his question with one of your own, his gaze returns to your eyes.

“not if i do it right.” not entirely promising in your mind, did he know how to do it right? you had to fight the urge to ask that question out loud. “we’ll take it slow” he uses his free hand to bring your hand to his lips, placing a gentle kiss to the tips of your fingers. “you say you trust me, so don’t worry so much. i’ll take care of you” he adds to further reassure you, you let out a soft breath as he finally pulls you closer to him. his lips now hovering above yours “i’ve got you” he closes the gap between you both, kissing you soft and with purpose. showing you just how much he cares.

it’s slow at first, his thumb subtly tracing your jaw as you relax into his arms. that’s when it picks up, he sucks your bottom lip as he moves both his hands down to your waist pulling you flush against him.

your whole body ached for him, you couldn’t resist threading your fingers through his hair. tugging slightly on the soft curls causing him to let out a low hum of delight. guiding you towards your bed with his body, never breaking the kiss until you fall back onto the bed. panting as you catch your breath before he crawls on top of you, kissing your lips again before trailing kisses down your jawline and to your neck.

tilting your head so he has more access when he kisses the delicate skin. opening his mouth and sucking gently, the feeling makes you mewl and you can feel him smile before trailing back up to your face. he looks down to your chest, reaching up to the strings of your nightgown before looking back up to you silently asking for permission to continue. “please..”

I can just imagine how devastated both Yue and Macaque are by the events of the Unforgivable au

Macaque thinks he’s done the right thing defending his beloved king from a celestial interloper, only to be confronted with Shanzha’s grieving niece who happens to be *his* niece too. His first time seeing anyone with six ears just like him… and it’s after he’s murdered one of her beloved parental figures.

Would he ever find out that she is his niece, by the way? Shanzha would probably recognize that he looks similar to Sangshen, but given them events… I doubt she’d have the opportunity to piece it together.

Likewise, poor Wukong- he didn’t particularly care for Shanzha, but he’s a big softie; being confronted with not only a grieving baby (Yue) but also his resurrected ex-wife is a particularly harsh double whammy. Make it a triple whammy by needing to comfort his devastated Shadow afterwards, when it’s clear things can’t be fixed and he’s lost the only chance to reconcile with what’s left of his family.

All that, to end in devastation as the mountain burns, Wukong is imprisoned, and Macaque is murdered by Wukong in the end.

To answer your question: Yue would at least acknowledge that he’s a surviving clansman of her mother’s side of the family. But no, it’s not until the Modern Era when she has calmed down enough to actually look at and talk to Macaque that she realizes that he’s her uncle. She eventually tells him and, well, it doesn’t fix anything but the fact that Yue didn’t denounce him was a start.

And Wukong. Hoo boy, this man is upset for his Shadow, but he will later look back at this moment with a lot of guilt after his journey. He’d wonder what he could have done differently. The worst part was that Yue didn’t say or do anything for revenge. She just cried.

(But Yue did do something. She did nothing. She kept quiet about what was to come. fun lion guard au: a royal mjuzi for the outlands.

now hear me out, i think it'd be SO cool to see an animal in the outlands chosen to help jasiri with her duties. i know in canon mjuzis are chosen at birth... but if you go with the presumable concept that no animal communicates with the lions of the past besides mjuzis, then it could've easily been a missed vision, especially as it seems mjuzis are usually mandrills and they seem to focus mainly on the lion royal family. besides, if rafiki got a vision that an outlander was chosen to be a mjuzi, he'd probably be in such disbelief that he'd play it off as mufasa pranking him lol

also you could argue that ushari got a vision opposed to just wanting revenge against the lion guard, and that's he's the royal mjuzi of resurrected!scar. he's by his side advising him. he doesn't necessarily do everything a mjuzi of the pridelands would because... you know... he's working for scar?... but it could also be room for a redeemed ushari au :D

but all in all, any outlander as jasiri's royal mjuzi would be fun and interesting!

he's a crocodile

he tried to kill king simba. just imagine it, a mjuzi- who are typically aligned with royalty- who attempted assassination of the king of the pridelands

he was banished to the outlands, which makes him being the outlands' mjuzi even more funny seeing as he's originally a pridelander

he was involved in fights with jasiri multiple times, and now he's her royal mjuzi. i mean, come on, that's hilarious

to add on to that, kiburi's float are listed as neutral allegiance after scar was defeated. they don't have any alliances, or at least kiburi wouldn't care to, but then his float member has to, or even willingly, becomes mjuzi LMAO

have i mentioned that he's a crocodile? there's likely a reason mandrills are royal mjuzis, because of they can use their hands and feet effectively. but a crocodile? man's only got his mouth and maybee his tail

the reason i picked him over others is because, as with @devilsrecreation's great headcanons, i think he's the youngest of the crocodiles and one of the youngest in the outlands too. because of that i like to think he's pretty optimistic towards any situation, to the point where he's naïve. just imagine it. jasiri comes up to kiburi's float like, "hey, uhm... nduli's supposed to be royal mjuzi... :|" and while kiburi is confused af, nduli's just goes "oh, okay!" because he's a bit of a follower. no shame on him tho i think it sells the whole thing more lmao

We should have had Morzan alive. I mean yeah, it would fuck up the whole narrative but imagine Murtagh being afraid of his father. He hates the king but fears his father.

Imagine him and Thorn; Morzan sees them, and he has problems with booze in canon, just how drunk he'd have gotten after Thorn learned to talk? There he is with his nameless dragon, half of his heart and soul, that he had to watch descend into stupidity. (Does he have its name written up here and there, does he watch it every day just to think about how he could make it real again?) Would he dream of killing his son and taking his dragon to himself? Would he want that even though he despises that sick joke of a connection that is in between Galbatorix and Shruikan?

And then Galbatorix finally discovers the name of the names. How would he beg for the king to use it to heal his companion?

Also, it would be very funny to watch our main characters run for their lives with an angry dragon after them, but y'know.

Should I write a fic about this

Oh you absolutely should write a fic about this (and let me know when you do! I’d love to read it!), and I should go back through my WIPs to find my time travel AUs…

I usually write more about Selena than Morzan, but I do love the idea of getting to see grown-up Murtagh’s reaction to seeing his father, especially in a context where Murtagh has lived without him for a while—whether that’s because Brom didn’t kill Morzan and Selena got both her sons to Carvahall, or because resurrection or time travel shenanigans happened.

As for Morzan still being around when Murtagh gets captured… I think there’s a 50/50 chance he gets Real Weird about the torture, in a “I was pretty sure up to this point that I didn’t actually care about my son but now my best friend is torturing My Son and I don’t like it actually” way, and I think that would be really fun to explore; I think, also, that when Thorn hatches and Galbatorix prematurely increases his size, Morzan would again be Real Weird about it because, like, that’s a baby dragon the size of an adult. He hasn’t lost his name, he just hasn’t really developed one yet; he’s a weird, warped mirror of Morzan’s own dragon. And when Thorn does, eventually, with difficulty, start to ‘grow up’, Morzan’s probably going to get twitchy about it—it’s been at least a century, more than two thirds of his lifespan, since he’s even MET a somewhat psychologically stable dragon; how much has he forgotten of their true intelligence, their real personalities? And when Galbatorix does find The Word, if Morzan asks him to heal his own dragon… honestly I don’t know if Galbatorix would be able to. Having power and knowing how to use it are two different things, we saw Murtagh figure that out in his own book with The Word. Would the king even know where to start? Would he allow Morzan to try for himself? Morzan probably wouldn’t have a clue where to begin, all we ever hear about him from people who’d met him is that he’s a powerful spellcaster, but not a very clever one.

Honestly, the whole situation might drive Morzan to split from Galbatorix; and even if not, it would still probably drive Morzan to be extremely destructive, to himself and everyone around him.

Also he’d be so pissed to learn about Eragon’s true parentage. Not even in a “my wife cheated on me?!” way but in a “oh my god can Brom stop being SO OBSESSED with me for FIVE MINUTES” kind of way.

Another half asleep twins au rant/prompt! Please excuse any spelling or grammar errors I have not slept in a hot minute.

Trigger Warning ⚠️: Ghost Hunger, Dissection/vivisection, starvation

So this is a Ghost Hunger Damian and Danny are twins au. I was reminded about ghost hunger the other day and boy did it give me the spark of creativity I needed to create yet another au/fic idea to hyperfixate on.

So in this au Damian and Danny were very close as siblings but Danny ended up dying throwing himself in harms way to protect Damian on a mission for the league. Damian blames himself for not having better reflexes/not paying enough attention and could never convince his grandfather to allow Danyal to be resurrected via the pit.

Talia saw how desperate her son was for the other to live though and also cared for Danyal so she risked it all to revive him secretly and hide him amongst the civilians in America. Damian sadly never got to learn about that fact tho and lived years with the guilt he felt which left him determined to never let that happen again. Which meant he could never let anyone get close enough to want to do such a thing for him and he needed to hone his skills.

Danny on the other hand has hazy memories of his brother while with the Fentons and goes through the same timeline of becoming Phantom and protecting Amity Park. Eventually tho his parents find out and that gets him strapped to a table in the basement begging for his half life/getting vivisected.

So Danny flees going on the run and ends up on the streets of Gotham. The spirit of Gotham is so excited and welcoming to her newest child. He is a protector and her king after all. It fills her with pride that she would get to care for such an important person. She does all she can to make sure the king stays safe. Little things to keep him hidden and protected.

Danny however has unintentionally been keeping a pretty big secret from the ghosts of the realm. He doesn't really know this though and thinks its just a ghost thing. Basically his core is slightly corrupted due to the years he spent around the Lazarus pits aswell as the revival vial the dip in it's corrupt ectoplasm. As a result he experiences ghost hunger which was pretty easy to manage when he lived with the Fenton's. He would normally satiate his hunger via eating pure ectoplasm from the lab but now he has no access to that which leads him to starving himself.

This starvation mixed with his human side starving aswell is very very hard on his body as a result he begins to black out sometimes when he wakes up he usually tastes ectoplasm but just assumes its his own due to his injuries from his parents. These injuries are weirdly taking way longer to heal which is due to ghosts being very mental/emotional state based.

Gotham soon realizes she has a big problem on her hands. It turns out the king's core is corrupted and as a result many of her ghostly children are going missing. She is deeply upset and calls out for help to assist the king with his corruption or stop him from killing more of her children. She hopes the king gets help rather than getting taken down however. She knows it's not his fault. She knows how protective of her city and her people he is and how kind he can be to them and hopes issues get solved so he may become a protector of her people.

This call for help brings Constantine to Gotham. He doesn't get a whole lot of info from Gotham at first but he knows whatever is going on can be dangerous and is important. He knows that some of the bats are in danger too and gives them a warning that something in Gotham seems to be hunting ghostly beings and those whom have died before are at risk especially Red Hood.

The Bat's don't take too kindly to the supernatural threat and kinda force their way into assisting Constantine whom is already annoyed with the prospect of having to deal with the bats.

So time passes and the bats gets a few encounters of feeling as if they're being hunted. Jason is also the first to discover the new homeless kid in Gotham who looks almost exactly like Damian. It's hard to really see too many similarities at the time tho he's so thin it's deeply worrying and his icy blue eyes greatly contrast Damian's emerald green, but some similarities are far too obvious to miss. Oh great more black hair blue eyed adoption bait. Better keep him far away from Bruce.

The few run ins some of the bat kids have with Danny make them worried about the homeless kid. Dick, Tim, Duke and Jason all get run ins with the kid and tho they want to try and help the kid he always seems to vanish without a trace. It's kinda creepy but they all can recognize just how scared this kid is.

Eventually Bruce and Damian get their run in with the kid. The GiW have finally tracked Danny down and due to the stupid vivisection wounds not healing and the starvation of both forms he can't get the strength he needs to defend himself or make an easy escape. He ends up cornered in an alleyway and getting shot with luckily no major damage. Batman and Robin come across the scene of what appears to be some weird new gang bullying a homeless child and makes quick work of them.

After all is said and done and they look back to help the injured kid Damian ends up shocked to find that this kid is Danyal. At first he pulls his sword on him making threats thinking this is some sick and twisted trick from the league, but then he comes to his senses seeing how broken and defeated Danyal is. He doesn't flinch or shy away from the fate, though he has tears in his deeply tired eyes he doesn't fight back. He doesn't seem to have the energy to. He just sits against the walled dead end that almost got him killed and stares down the katana as if he no longer fears death.

Things get bit emotional as he questions his long dead brother. Danny is honest in answering he doesn't know how he came back nor does he fully remember how he died in the first place. He also dodges some of the questions and keeps the ghost half hidden. He explains to them he's gotten himself into trouble however and people are after him now and he appreciates the help. He keeps as much as he can about ghosts being involved a secret. He has no idea about the Bat's stances on them after all. And he seems to hate metas so probably won't take to kindly to a ghost.

Damian and Danny share info and Bruce discovers he has a son he didn't know about and deeply regrets not being there cause the state this kid is in is pretty dier. He's not sure he can fully trust the kid though. It's clear he's hiding something and that could be a danger to his family and Gotham, but he decides to give him a chance. After all this is his son and he wants to help him no matter what.

Bruce calls in someone to cover the rest of his and Damian's patrol route for the night and has Alfred get Doctor Thompkins to meet them back in the cave for medical assistance. They get Danny back and he starts getting some treatment for his wounds. Alfred and Thompkins are pretty horrified to find the vivisection wounds on the kiddo. They are definetly infected by this point. And much to Danny's dismay he has to use the excuse that he's a meta to explain why he's got such a low temperature and heart rate, why he can't use sedatives, and why stitches and stuff like that won't work.

So treatment is a bit difficult but they do their best with it. Alfred and Thompkins also discuss what needs to be done to get the kid back on track to being healthy. All the while Damian is anxiously waiting to be able to see his brother again. Bruce has never seen Damian show such emotion and care before aside from when he's dealing with animals. It's so jarring. And of course the other bat kids are snooping trying to find out what's going on.

So recovery is slow and bat kids try to connect with their new sibling whenever Damian isn't trying to act as a guard dog/mother hen. Danny ends up the closest with Damian and Jason in the family. Jason can immediately tell something is off with the kid due to the Lazarus water reacting to him and is the first person Danny opens up to about being half ghost (much to Damian's dismay). Jason keeps Danny's secret for him but encourages him subtly to open up to the others cause they'll definetly accept him despite the fact that he's half dead. They bond a lot on their mutual trauma and of course Damian is jealous but also happy Danny is actually talking to someone and getting back on his feet.

Damian still feels immense guilt over the first death Danyal faced and this guilt makes him think of course Danyal would want to avoid him that Danyal blames him too which is totally untrue and eventually gets worked through but not until after theres some conflicts due to jealousy. But that comes later.

One night Jason decides to stay over for Danny's sake and Danny has another black out. Basically his ghost form goes feral and tries to go after Jason. This results in the discovery that Danny was the danger Constantine has been looking for all along and there's a major blow up in the family due to this info. Danny only stops feral mode after eating a blob ghost (poor lil guy) and gets rudely awoken by the batfam accusations of attempted murder.

Danny is finally informed that he's been killing and eating ghosts and is horrified this goes against his whole goal of protecting everyone and keeping the balance and really goes against his protection obsession. It breaks him and Bruce yelling accusations at him doesn't help at all. Kiddo has a major breakdown and goes on the run from his new family thinking he is a danger and that he blew it with them.

Danny faces issues with injury to his core aswell due to what he's done and how that effects his obsession. Basically he's having a real bad time.

Jason whom has connected with the kiddo knows that this ain't Danny and somethings clearly wrong and so does Damian so the two reluctantly band together to locate and help the poor kiddo. With this team up Damian discovers Jason knew Danny was a half ghost and jealousy causes a fight but they manage to keep the team together out of concern for the kiddo.

The the other Bats team up with Constantine to track him down and eliminate the threat. Gotham tries to impede them though cause she knows the route they are on will only bring harm to the ghost king rather than help him. She tries her best to help hood and Robin find him first.

When Jason and Damian discover Danny he's in bad shape. Kiddos absolutely breaking down and very injured his core is definetly injured for sure. They try to offer assistance but Danny isn't thinking straight he's like a wounded animal so if he gets cornered he fights back.

It really doesn't help that the GiW manages to track him down yet again and the boyoa have to deal with both that and a ghostly Danny whom poses a risk of injury to not only them but himself.

With so much going on its no surprise that the GiW actually succeeds in capturing Danny. The two vigilante's end up getting knocked out and left to the wayside.

Eventually the other bats come across them and they explain Danny was captured by the thugs that first attacked him. Constantine recognizes the organization and is deeply frustrated but hey atleast it's not his problem anymore right? Wrong. With the kids explanations he realizes Danny was not actually evil. He's partially alive and he is a protector spirit not a rouge one. He also realizes how bad things are cause a spirit like that committing such acts that he has risks destabilization which would probably kill both the human and ghost half. He's no ghost expert but Gotham's giving him signs she wants him to help the ghost kid and now he's in quite the pickle.

So this leads everyone into panic mode and search and recuse mode. Theres a big rescue mission where they break into the GiW headquarters and fight the GiW to get Danny back. Of course he is having a hard time staying stable and they have to both use whatever magic Constantine can muster to keep him as stable as he can and on the spot therapy time to try and stabilize the poor kiddo.

Eventually they get him stable enough to bring him back home but now he has mandatory therapy sessions with Black Canary. They also have a lot of emotional work ahead of them aswell and physical work trying to get a steady supply of ectoplasm so the kid doesn't starve again.

They have to fight the Fenton's for custody aswell and try and dismantle the GiW and anti ecto acts. Its a long process and they really discover just how bad things were for the kid.

They probably have a visit to frostbite too if they can get a portal and this helps him heal and make sure no more ghost medical problems occur. This also helps the family learn a lot of ghost health is tied to emotional and mental health.

Damian and Danny probably end up getting in a few fights due to Damian's jealousy aswell but eventually work though it and become closer due to it. They are inseparable. And Damian also has to learn to get used to Jason being around and an active older brother figure. Bruce apologizes for his mistreatment of the kiddo too. Their relationship stays a bit rocky for a long while but they definitely make progress.

Theres a lot of emotions and emotional conflict and things are very rocky for awhile but eventually they get to be a functional and loving family dynamic! Danny gets a happy ending in the end it's not a perfect home but he definetly wouldn't want to be anywhere else :D

I always got the impression Illyria was a he/him in their original god king form but defaulted to she/her when taking Fred as a vessel. In general though I don’t think pronouns actually matter to Illyria. I think he/him was assigned by followers and she/her is assigned by ats crew.

Valid! Canon doesn't dive too deeply into it, so I think a lot of it is up for interpretation. AFAIK all we get in canon is that Knox and Drogyn refer to Illyria (the original god-king) with it pronouns (as do the ATS crew), and it's only when it's in Fred's body that the crew start using she/her. Which is to say that I think that you're correct that it's other people projecting a gender onto it and struggling to disentangle Illyria from Fred.

But also! What I've always found interesting is that Knox (basically the only character on the show with an emotional connection to the original Illyria) entwines a... crush? For lack of a better word? on Fred with his worship of Illyria, and I can't make up my mind, personal headcanon-wise, if he's just projecting or if there's historical precedent for this. Like, what's the thought process behind, "yeah sure I'll resurrect my epic god-king (gender neutral) in the body of my beautiful co-worker"? Also there's this adolescent crush/obsession vibe when he says:

And when I first saw this, I thought this was going to lead into a parable about how some dudes will 'worship' women and make them into god-like figures in their heads, but in doing so, also infantilize them and want to control them? Like I legit thought this was going to evolve into an "I Was Made to Love You" type lesson about objectifying women, where Knox both worships Illyria and feels "owed" for resurrecting her, and when he throws a tantrum about her not being appropriate grateful, she kills him. And this would mirror the condescension that Fred experiences throughout the show -- that ultimately what kills Fred is Knox putting her up on this pedestal as a "perfect woman" rather than seeing her as a complete person:

Like, Knox says this to Wesley just before Wes pulls his gun on him, and I thought this would be about Wes being forced to confront the ways in which HE could also flatten Fred into a symbol of goodness and not see her as a whole person at times. Which would then mimic the ways that nearly every member of the Angel crew harbors feelings of guilt over what happened to Fred.

(Alternatively in my AU where Wes gets Illyria'd, I think it's ultimately about Wes CHOOSING to die in Fred's place, against her wishes, in a way that's heroic/tragic but also intertwined with the complicated feelings Fred has about being patronized by the others and being perceived as the one who needs to 'protecting.' Like, how do you grapple with that grief alongside that resentment? *Wesley voice* "I think I hate her a little for that." But this is getting way off topic.)

ANYWAYS. Obviously none of that happened, so maybe I'm reading subtext where there isn't any or I just missed something. This is all a long way of saying that much of Illyria's arc feels very gendered in my interpretation, not just in the god-king-beyond-human-comprehension way but in the conflict surrounding it. To get back to your ask, I do agree that Illyria doesn't care about pronouns. I do think it's funny in the Wes!Illyria AU if the only person who DOES care is Fred, who's out there pulling (in the most well-intentioned way) the "its pronouns are she/her" move

What is this?

This is a passion project that I started because, while I do believe that Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are amazing games, and have even played them multiple times. In my opinion, I believe that they could be better, especially Tears of the Kingdom. Therefore I decided to start making my own version, starting with BOTW.

Overall, I want to try and improve the games, but still keep the original spirit of what they were. I do also want to try and keep these somewhat realistic to be in a game, not just my rambling off about some fantasy world.I will make it clear though that I am not a coder, nor a game creator, so I cannot promise that I will always be successful in this.

I also want to make it very clear that this is in no way meant to be hate towards Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, nor Nintendo. This is simply a fan of the games who has a lot of passion and ideas that they wanted to share with others! This will likely include a lot of my own ideas, headcannons, and interpretations of things though, as I am one person and cannot account for how others may perceive these games.

(Please note that this is going to be quite a bit darker than the original version of BOTW/TOTK)

What this project entails

This project overall is going to pretty much be a near complete overhaul of both games, I’m not very good with background art, but I will try to draw out any changes to the physical map I ended up making to fit with my AU/rewrite. And when I say overhaul, I mean I am overhauling nearly the entire damn thing outside of characters, and locations.

This does not mean I’m throwing away what's already there though, as I want to try and keep what Nintendo had already put into the game, because I do truly believe it was at least a decent game. I am going to try and keep as much of what Nintendo has already laid out for both games, while getting rid of as many of the issues that I have seen myself, and have seen others have online with the games.

Also, if I may ask, what exactly is Dragon Age? I'd never heard of it before following your blog, and I know very little about it outside of what you've said about it.

I know I could probably just look it up, but that's not nearly as fun as listening to a friend's rambles.

Okay first of all I'm so sorry for the person I've become, and the person I continue to become as we get closer to and eventually arrive at the release of the new game on Halloween. (Context: it has been a decade since the last game. Nine years for me, as I got into the fandom in the time between the release of the last game and the release of its final DLC.)

The basic explanation is: western fantasy RPG series where the player character gathers up a group of companions to do anything from save the world to survive living in the worst city in the world. The real strength of the series is getting everyone obsessed with the companion characters, who, depending on your choices, you can be friends or enemies with, even as you continue to work together, and maybe you'll fall in love or they'll break your heart or you break their heart. I got dumped by a god. I nearly got dumped by a bastard prince who I encouraged to become king. My witch wife left me and I had to go on a long journey to find her. I almost went for a sacrifice ending and then cried so hard saying goodbye to my elf assassin boyfriend (we met when he was hired to kill me) that I reloaded and made a bunch of different choices.

The other strength is the roleplaying choices that you can make to shape your own character to get obsessed with, and then continue to add lore to them in your head until you're making them in the Sims just because you love them, or have an AU where they work at Subway. Real things I have done.

What else... I think another thing the games do well is in the worldbuilding and lore, and specifically in ambiguity in those things. The first game, Dragon Age: Origins, has the PC and companions fighting to save their country from what's basically a zombie apocalypse. The zombies, called darkspawn, have toxic blood that, if a person is infected, will lead them to a gruesome, agonizing death. In the course of the game, you learn more about how darkspawn are ""born"" - they're not 1:1 pop culture zombies, it's just the best comparison to start with - but... where did they come from in the first place? Why do they exist? The Church has an answer, but the Church is very fallible. You uncover new pieces of information about them in the game's DLC, and then in later games, which half-confirm and half-deny the Church's tale, but we still don't have a clear answer. Maybe we'll finally get one in the next game!

And that's just one example. The Church had a papal schism and the two branches argue about the nature of god's mortal wife - was she a mage or not, did she ascend and become divinity or not? There's a cult that thinks she was reborn as a dragon. You find what is said to be her ashes, which have miraculous healing properties. One of your companions, if killed in the temple where the ashes are housed, resurrects as a sort-of ghost. What's up with that? Who knows! We sure don't!

So, there's a lot of fun lore to chew on, and a lot of fun characters to get obsessed with, and a lot of options for playing your own individual character and getting obsessed with them.

My favorite game of the three is Dragon Age: Origins, the first one, released in 2009. Yes, the graphics are dated, yes the combat gameplay is jank, yes it frequently crashes for some people (there are workarounds), yes there's a weird amount of sexism and some of that is trigger-warning worthy (something to keep in mind for anyone who wants to check it out), but I've played it... five, six times? Half of those as the same character, making the same choices, and yet it seems like every time I play, I find something new hidden away somewhere. A character sidequest I didn't unlock because they didn't like me enough. An NPC sidequest somewhere that I didn't explore well enough.

There's different background options for the character you create, and each of them gives you an "origin story" sequence to play. Usually only an hour or two before you hit the convergence point of the main story, but it dramatically shapes the way you see the locations and characters that you'll return to later in the story. A random merchant that a human noble PC passes by is an old friend for a dwarven noble PC. A random elf that a mage PC finds locked up in prison is the beloved cousin of the city elf PC. A random ambush by darkspawn holds a devastating reunion for the nomadic elf PC. A two-line encounter with a random woman is a lot more for the commoner dwarf PC, because that is their sister who's finally gotten away from their abusive mother. The PC is unvoiced in Origins, but that means there's more dialogue options to choose from than for the other games, which really helps me define the character I'm playing. And as a person who loves to make OCs (you know what I have going on for Pokemon), that's a big big plus.

The other games are good, too - I actually started with Dragon Age 2, and came back to Origins, because that's what I was recommended, and I think it was good because the combat felt so much better in 2, and once I was hooked on the world, I could go back to Origins. But there's something about Origins that makes me a big shill for it.

The Dragon Age fandom is, uh, contentious. If you - or anyone else here - ever want to check out the games, my recommendation is to look at cool art, make a few friends who are chill, and stay away from the radioactive discourse meltdowns that always seemed to be happening when the fandom was more active. I know lots of fandoms are toxic trashbins, I stay in a little corner to dodge that. But Dragon Age is. the fandom is special. Here's a parody post about what it's like.

But I really do love Dragon Age, and I've made some good friends, and I've had a lot of fun, and I'm very excited for the new game, and I am, again, very very sorry for the person I'm becoming.

UnderAngel Lore

or. um. options for it, you get to decide whats canon ? i hope u know i could be lying. or not

i wont be able to make a long lore post (like keepertale's) because. um. although this AU is older than underpills, it's gone (+ going) through SO MANY changes even i cant list them all down

the core plot of underangel is "what if there was never a war between humans and monsters?" its somewhat like ?? a complete opposite of underfell

Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day, the humans threatened the monsters, who did not want to fight, much less a war. Surrendering themselves, the monsters were sealed underground with a magic spell.

this au is focused on sans and his identity as a human turned monster kinda deal, he and papyrus are "undead" and were resurrected by toriel (to see if resurrection is possible) and gaster (to find the limits of healing magic)

they were taken in by gaster after the resurrection thing (since he was the one who proposed the experiment in the first place) but after gaster "dies" they dont really remember ANYTHING about themselves because all their knowledge came from him. they just have this sorta nagging feeling that theyre Not Really Monsters yknow

sans has always been the centre of the au (even back when it was still called underheaven, and there was even a heavenfell,,,,) heres doodles of what i remember them lookin like

but ACTUALLY

this au focuses on chara and their internal conflict as the main reason monsters almost went to war.

see, the story goes somewhat like this:

When the "heart-of-gold trophy child" Chara started "misbehaving" after a game of hide and seek with Asriel, the Monster King's son, humans decided to stop the charade of acceptance. It started with a simple threat toward Asgore and his kingdom. His advisor seemed very... very favourable of war, but he only wanted peace between his people and the humans. So in order to avoid war, he decided to surrender before the humans could so much as scratch his family. Despite the sacrifice separating Asriel and Chara made for peace, Chara decides to run and find a way to go to Mt. Ebott and reunite with their family.

they (and asriel !!) serve as frisk's guide throughout the underground and they get to understand the history of it through exploring, but also chara's insights on certain things (you can tell i like the narrator chara theory) they even have a sit down where they talk about their feelings about being stuck underground

chara is actually in their late thirties now (baby face :/ im envious)

frisk finds the mysterious grey door in room 268 and is met with a deformed phantom of gaster, he does not speak nor does he move, and when frisk reaches out to try and touch his hand, he flashes a big smile and disappears.

frisk then goes around the underground asking if they know someone who looks like that, and pieces together that it was the royal scientist after speaking to gaster's followers in hotland (this guy rlly met all of them. in one run. damn)

(side note angel!gaster is like. a multiverse therapist now. i call that "au" or his little corner of the multiverse outcode counseling)

So I have decided to essentially just write out what ideas have come to me for my Reaper Killcode, he's got his own little AU now that I will just call the Reaper King AU 💀 I will warn this is a looong one. Though I will answer questions about this just like with Seraphim AU🔥 if anyone's interested:)

I will write more out later as I sadly have some other stuff to get too atm... 😅

TW: Definitely going to be touching on some darker topics here, particularly murder and abusive situations so you've been warned.

Part 1...

1) Reaper Killcode is created by Ruin from the wreckage of Solars Moon, as his Killcode was active and could be salvaged from the remains.

2) However upon his activation and coming to consciousness... He pretty much disregarded Ruin immediately. Moving forward only to appease his bloodthirsty coding.

-Ruin did not like being disrespected, but he couldn't deny that Killcode was undoubtedly going to create havoc as intended... Although he still voiced his annoyance to the dust bunnies later...

3) Killcode went on a slaughter that would shame even Bloodmoon and eventually he finds his way to Stitchwraith... And it ends badly for Stitchy. As going up against Bloodmoon was one thing, but KC is a very different beast. And Stitchwraith gets murked... Rather gruesomely at that.

-The scythe Ruin gave him broke during the fight, he later customizes it to function in smaller form, more like Deaths scythes from Puss in Boots.

4) Upon killing Stitchwraith, Killcode takes the core from his body and incorporates it into his body. Strictly for cosmetic purposes, as he is unaware of the cores importance or nature.

5) Conveniently at that moment Bloodmoon broke into Stitchwraiths new lair looking for payback... Only to find a twisted heap of metal and his resurrected former father figure. To which he even kinda fell on his ass in surprise before screaming 'Father?! You came back from the grave?!'

6) That made Reaper KC pause... Being called a father genuinely made him stop and it stirred something in him. Something he didn't understand... But it wasn't unpleasant.

7) Long story made short, KC takes Bloodmoon under his wing and they leave together to go create chaos and havoc.

8) Killcode grows to genuinely care and is protective of Bloodmoon. While the Bloodtwins are more on the wary side of their new 'father' as they are far to used to being tricked into being someone else's tool... let alone how things ended with the previous KC.

9) As time goes by Killcode develops a set of morals that grow to govern how he kills his victims and he sets out three 'Laws' that both he and Bloodmoon must abide by.

-Never kill children

-Never kill anyone truly incapable of fighting back

-Never kill anyone you are indebted too

10) Naturally Bloodmoon HATES any kind of rules. But... The fact these are not just rules for Bloody, but he's giving himself these rules as well makes it slightly more tolerable. And again, Bloodmoon can TELL how powerful this KC is and how they still need to play things safe...

11) Ruin eventually starts to antagonize Killcode with electric shocks, similar to the system he built into the twins. This gets KC seething mad and he and Bloodmoon come storming back to the Pizzaplex Daycare looking to kill Ruin, but he will happily start killing anyone in his path so... Bad times are about to be had.

12) However luck is on the side of the Celestial family and they manage to knock Reaper Killcode and Bloodmoon into the portal and send them into a random different universe. Not only (Hopefully) ending the threat of the murderous duo, but also getting the core far away from the Creators grasp.

-Boy was the Creator miffed at that...

13) Deposited in a random new universe with seemingly no way to return home, the first thing Killcode knows that they need to do is to assess exactly where they currently are and what they will do next.

14) Turns out they were teleported into the middle of a National Forest/Park in another universe. It's a large mountainus region with a few different hiking trails and camping areas. There are also old mine tunnels and caverns particularly within the largest mountain in the very heart of this region.

15) There are also several small towns in the vicinity of this park, between this and the plentiful amount of tourists and park staff it was only natural that Killcode and Bloodmoon choose this location to be their new home.

-They set up their actual home in one of the most spacious caverns inside the mountain and furnish it with a few items that they can scavenge.

16) What is also interesting is that this region is also home to a unique breed of wolves that can only be found here. Called 'Moon Wolves' due to the unique patterns within their fur. The breed is marked 'Critically Endangered' due to immense poaching and overhunting. Killcode grows very fond of these wolves and essentially tames the pack. Especially one of the larger wolves, which he names Muerte.

-They're his dogs...

17) At first Bloodmoon isn't too fond of this. As he's definitely not fond of animals he can't kill. But that changes as he sees this one of the smaller wolves that bears a unique, yet ugly deformity... Essentially having two heads...

-That one becomes Bloodmoons puppy...

The Details of Genderbend Naoya Au:

Just a collection of my thought process and ramblings about this collection of drawings to scratch the itch in my brain.

General ramblings:

This is not a fleshed out au. There isn't much of a storyline and I don't exactly know if I will ever make one.

The au doesn't follow the jjk canon apart from some general things like Toji leaving Megumi and Tsumiki etc.

The ‘story’ follows Naoya Zenin after an accident that should have killed him instead leaves him unscathed. That is, until he wakes up the next day with a girl's body, a kogane companion, and the ability to see strange creatures (cursed spirits) and people who should have been long dead.

Bro is basically now part of a culling game-esque event involving people who were saved from death like him, those who died long ago and were resurrected, and creatures that should have never entered the living realm. Some people such as him with bad karma for their actions, are given certain handicaps and/or punishments when they're brought back from death. Hence girl-Naoya.

But, by destroying the souls of beings with even more bad karma than you, you can gain points that will give you access to abilities (cursed techniques) or lessen your own punishment or handicap.

The Kogane function the same here as they do in canon.

Basically, this is me drawing fem Naoya with a bunch of extra steps 💀

Drawing one:

A lot of the ‘story’ of this au just happened randomly as I was doodling, Kenjaku and Takaba running Naoya over being part of that.

I wanted to draw Naoya reacting to him becoming a girl for the shits and giggle, yk, the sillies

And before I knew it I had Naoya getting run over by a truck 💀

The reason Takaba is the driver is because of that one scene in Kenjaku vs Takaba, Kenjaku is in the passenger's seat just because.

There is no reason as to what they're singing besides me wanting them to have been distracted by something goofy

Its like….a wand…a club…? It's based off his first form as a cursed spirit, the one where he looks like a worm

The first thing I thought of when I imagined Naoya going on a ‘quest’ to become a man again was that ant carrying a bindle.

(It gives pathetic energy, which i enjoy giving my Naoya drawings)

I'm so sorry to people who like Nobara and Maki, I can't draw them that well 😭😭😭

I'm thinking Hana/Angel are trying to fix whatever is going on with the souls of the deceased/players, and are thus gathering allies (though they also want to defeat a certain king of curses even in this au as well 👀)

Naoya ends up joining her, Maki, and Nobara as allies (no one is happy about this)

They will put him in his place, especially Maki.

(I wonder what would happen if he met Yuki…)

Naoya and Hana is a combination I didn't think I'd ever draw interacting tbh 💀

It's so cute how the kogane have different designs sometimes based on who they belong to. It reminds me of the crows in kny.

I wonder if they're meant to represent something about each player???

For example, the one we see with Naoya when we're first introduced to his curse form has a skull like face, which we later see on Naoya's second curse form.

His looks so crusty and I love it

I rlly wanted it to be his companion in this au

Honestly, I was thinking Naoya upon turning into a girl would try everything he could to make himself look more traditionally masculine

Akira has been close with his mother's side of the family for as long as he could remember before the incident took place. Despite the fact that they were relatively normal compared to the Sakamakis, the Amor family were still a bit odd from time to time. . . .

Gabriel Amor 🪄

Gabriel Amor the Witch King, is the technical step-grandfather of Akira. He married Akira's biological grandmother, Carmen, after she escaped from the Tsukinami castle during the great demon war. Sometime after they met, he and Carmen got married and she promptly gave birth to triplets: Angelica, Camilo, and Victor. Angelica is the only one to not be biologically related to Gabriel, as she is the daughter of the former First Blood king, Giesbach.

Unlike his younger brothers' own grandfathers, Akira's grandfather Gabriel manages to have himself involved with his grandson's life after his daughter Angelica married Karlheinz, though this is mainly due to the fact that Karlheinz knew that since Angelica is close with her family.

Because of his immense knowledge of magic and spells (as he studied along the great sorcerer Solomon), Gabriel would help Akira with similar subjects.

Gabriel also wanted Akira to have a semblance of a normal childhood, as he suspected that things could have gotten worse for him down the line.

When Akira was killed by vampire hunters, Gabriel was the one to arrange his funeral arrangements as Angelica was in too deep in her grief to do so.

Upon learning on what Akira's father did for an improper resurrection ritual, Gabriel was enraged with his son-in-law, but he would put that aside so he could help Akira recover.

Selena | Carmen Amor 🌹

Carmen Amor is the grandmother of Akira.

Unfortunately, Akira never got the chance to meet Carmen as she ended up dying from an unknown illness before Akira was born.

He only knows of what she was like through stories that were told to him by those who knew her in life.

Camilo Amor 🃏

Camilo is one of Akira's uncles. He is the eldest biological child of Gabriel and Carmen and the triplet half-brother of Angelica.

He was considered to be the "fun uncle" by Akira and his younger brothers when they were born.

Because of Camilo's status as the "fun uncle", Akira and his younger brothers often asked to go to Camilo's house for sleepovers whenever Karlheinz and the mothers had to go somewhere important where the boys couldn't go.

Camilo was the one to help Angelica with not only rescuing Akira (who went by the alias 'Anselm' by that time) from the Tsukinamis, but he also helped with helping him recover his memories.

Victor Amor ☕️

Victor is one of Akira's uncles. He is the youngest of Gabriel and Carmen's children and the final triplet half-brother of Akira's mother Angelica.

Victor was seen as the "cold and calculating" type by Akira, as he often wore fancy suits and was able to get things done quickly.

Whenever Akira wanted to wear something extra fancy, he'd often ask his uncle Victor for an old suit of his.

Victor was the one to make sure to find all of Akira's missing soul fragments when he learned of his nephew's improper resurrection.

Esperanza Amor 🕶️

Esperanza is the younger cousin of Akira. She is the daughter of Akira's uncle Camilo and his long time partner Gloria.

She was born around the same time the triplets Ayato, Kanato, and Laito were: approximately two weeks after their birth.

Back when she went by different name, Esperanza liked to spend time with both Akira and the triplets, as she thought they were cool.

Akira also had to do his best to keep Esperanza from Cordelia, since she'd spout rude and demeaning comments to the poor girl.

When Esperanza wanted to change her name to what it is now, Akira helped her pick one out.

Like everyone else, Esperanza was devastated when Akira passed away. She was also there for her aunt Angelica and step-cousins, specifically with the triplets.

Through his grandfather Gabriel, Akira has many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He's not close with all of them, but he does prefer them over some extended members of the Sakamaki family.

Note: There were too many relatives for me to mention as Angelica's side of the family is rather big compared to the Sakamakis.

I do actually have some random lore let’s see…..Oh here’s a fun one :D!!! you know in the intro to totk when Link and Zelda explore Hyrule Castle and that’s how the story starts. Yeah when Chayanne and Pomme did that they sneaked out and told nobody. They were on the self sacrifical hero path with that one.

After they both defeated the calamity in botw all the adults DESPERATELY wanted the kids to like. take a break and live their lives and unlearn being heroes. And Chayanne and Pomme tried really hard to do this but when they hear people who go into Hyrule Castle come out infected with something (and hey maybe even Forever goes into there and gets infected to make the idea more personal) they both just know they can’t let it slide and sneak out to deal with it.

(Reminds me I have no clue who Ganon is here specifically. I was thinking the calamity was the code and Ganon the body could’ve been the eye or even Cucorucho. I still need to connect threats with each other)

Other lore bits: I imagine Missa was specifically the guy who carried Chayanne to the Resurrection Chamber after Pomme ordered them to. Put him into it even, maybe gave him a forehead kiss before saying goodbye for what was possibly the last time.

Missa makes me so sad in this au too, I imagine him as a traveler who found Chayanne on the run and was like I’m gonna help this kid :) and then that became his son and he settled down in Hyrule for a bit to help Chayanne with his hero stuff and then his son gets HUMBLED. And he’s, to his own knowledge, the only person present for the events who can mourn for him. So he does.

Moving onto the rest, Pomme definitely has the big French family, but I do think Etoiles at least is represented as like, THE king of Hyrule. A very strong one too :)

Etoiles would’ve definitely just like gone and kicked the calamity’s code himself if destiny wasn’t a thing and literally banned him from doing it without the sword. He was probably clawing at the walls and praying to several gods like COME ON. LET ME DO IT. I WOULD WIN AND WE ALL KNOW IT. He was also probably just like cheering that Pomme could beat Chayanne in a fight ❤️ So he’s also technically the old man in the Great Plateu.

I GET THE POMME THING I really need to get into the French POV more, if just for her she’s my baby and I want to portray her well :)

Since I cannot get that Mummy (1999) dreamling AU out of my brain, here comes my reflections on who's who in said AU (for “The Mummy” and “The Mummy Returns”):

Hob would obviously be Rick (ex soldier, survivor, knows how to fight, was probably arrested while he was drunk in a bar, himbo, so in love with Dream, accepts to lead the way to Hamunaptra in spite of the fact he nearly died there the last time only because Dream asked (and saved his life but he probably would have done it anyway), basically would follow Dream to the end of the world (including the Scorpion King’s lost Oasis))

Dream would be Evie (smart, kind of awkward, likes to be right, actually passionate (although he tries to keep a cold/stiff demeanor), so in love with Hob (though doesn’t want to acknowledge it at first), doesn’t know how to fight but would still fight anyone and anything that dares threaten Hob - also he always dresses in black no matter the weather and has a pet Raven named Matthew because I said so!)

Death would be Johnathan (yes they don’t exactly have the same temper but she too has a sense of humour - and kind of likes to (gently) annoying her brother. She is friendly, adaptive and adventurous.She found they Key to Hamunaptra, she’s the reason Dream and Hob met in the first place, and she probably knows what’s up between her brother and their new friend right from the start.)

Roderick Burgess as Imhotep (who was condemn to endure the Curse of Hom Dai as a punishment for trying to revive his dead son (and tries to do it again when he return as an immortal creature)

The Corinthian as a mixt between Beni and Dr. Allen Chamberlain (less of a soldier and more of an Egyptologist. Never met Hob but shares history with Dream (they strongly dislike each other). He is smart and suave and found a way to Hamunaptra by himself (probably assassinating a few people in the process) and leads the American team at least partly to piss Dream off. The American team is made of some of the Collectors (except they are not serial killers but greedy archeologists))

Lucienne as Dr.Terence Bey (curator of the Cairo Museum of Antiquities, secretly member of a society set to prevent Roderick’s return, and Dream’s boss (I just love the idea of Lucienne being the boss in this one!). Oh, yeah, and in this version she survives!)

Ethel Cripps as the warden of Cairo Prison (who accepts to release Hob in exchange for a percentage of whatever riches they may find in Hamunaptra. Her son John Dee may be the one to resurrect Imothep (again) in the second movie in order to avenge her mother if she died during the expedition (and he holds Dream responsible for her dead).

As for Ardeth Bay, I am not quite sure. I thought of Rose (a bit young maybe? and I have no idea what to do with Jed in that scenario...) or maybe Alex Burgess (a descendant of Roderick making sure his ancestor doesn’t come back? but he could as well be a descendant whose ancestors never ceased to try and set Roderick free? (then there could be a subplot where Paul is one of the Medjai fighting to keep Roderick from resurrecting and they could fall in love Romeo and Juliet style?)), but in the end i think Johanna Constantine makes more sense (her job is basically to fight demons and other creatures of the like).

Finally, Lucifer would be no other than the Scorpion King (a powerful king with an entire army at their command...)

Also, In "The Return of the Mummy”, I could see Rose and Jed be distant relatives of Dream and Death (I mean it’s canon!). Jed being passionate about History and Egypt and ending up putting the Bracelet of Anubis on BUT I also really love a version in which Hob ends up wearing the bracelet (tell me he wouldn’t!) and thus gets kidnapped and Dream is REALLY pissed off about it! (in this version, nobody warns Hob that he has to enter the pyramid before the sun sets on the third day so he is all relieved when he gets reunited with Dream (who knows) in the Oasis only for Dream to panic because “why are you stopping to hug me? Start running to that Pyramid!!”). But then I don’t know what roles Rose and Jed could have in the story and I would like to include them!
