Y'know, I did contemplate it, but…
1. I don't think we know enough about Orange to conclude that he's either arrogant or hypocritical? (While we do know enough to infer that he: a. Engages in trickery [possessing people?] and b. Causes problems on purpose [stealing Patton's snack for a jab at us])
2. Virgil's in the spot he's in not for arrogance or hubris, but for the hypocrisy requirement. Considering his attitude towards rest of The Others. If hypocrisy wasn't a requirement to be in that spot I do believe he would've indeed wind up in Orange's own instead.
If anything perhaps I should've put Janus and Virgil in the Bastard spot with Remus, considering:
I. Virgil's maybe dabbled in trickery? ("The Nightmare Instead Of Christmas" with the vampire getup. Though I decided not to count that because he didn't commit to the bit and the rest of the episode was just an honest attempt to scare everyone, which he was pretty upfront about. He's generally pretty upfront about certain things. Including but not limited to scaring people [causing problems on purpose])
And II. There's some dubious ground to suggest Janus has indeed caused problems on purpose. (I like to believe what he said in SvS and think he's been trying to help in his own way even while disguised [aka engaging in trickery] and at least most of the problems have been incidental, though — and when I try to recall him doing so I can't think of anything that point of view can't explain away. Or. Well. Anything, really. I mean, he's taunted people plenty, but that hardly qualifies?)
So maybe just Virgil in the bastard spot instead too? Idk, it just doesn't round up as well, and given their Canon interactions I can't see him being thrilled to share a spot with Remus exactly, so inside the Punk sphere he went. (Bet that's business as usual, for Virgil.)
Finally, C!Thomas is in the spot he's in because Thomas from the series causes problems on purpose by: deliberately not communicating with other people, tackling on all of his issues technically by himself, and never consulting a mental health professional /j
Hello Sanders Sides fandom.
Please humbly accept my first offering, based off this post.
(No, I will not elaborate. You are most welcome to disagree on who goes where and tell me why!)
#Sanders Sides#watch me elaborate after I said I wouldn't /hj#the last one is a joke#but it legit is part of the reason why I put him there#[exit stage left; pursued by a bear]
