it does frustrate me that tumblrs built in filtering doesn’t have any kind of whitelist feature bc - i am a little ashamed to say - i blacklist horror, which unfortunately can lead to me missing out on hannibal content at times

#idk it’s easier to blacklist horror as a catch all rather than filter every thing i don’t want to see #and hope that it’s all tagged #but i did get to a point where i was like hm i don’t like seeing things on my dash that actively freak me out so #i respect horror and i love my horror fan mutuals very much i just do not enjoy being scared. and i am easily freaked out #why is hannibal an exception who knows #it doesn’t scare me that much though like it does in a high stakes tv show way i get into the tension #but it doesn’t freak me out too much except for a couple things #anyway all this to say it does break my heart that i probably miss out on cool gifset sometimes due to this #i clicked something recently on a whim and it was hannibal and i was like HELLO????#anyway #stuff still slips through the cracks too i saw smthn creepy from a video game earlier and it’s not going to HAUNT me i was just like oof #also i blacklist bugs/insects and sometimes i still see hi-res/close up photos like #IF YOUR WHOLE BLOG is dedicated to posting these photos why aren’t they tagged with the bare minimum descriptors #r.txt
