Prompt (provided by the lovely Crow!): Miniroth is pulled away by the Jenova illusion sometime down the line in FS Chap 2… HOWEVER, he sees both sides now—the illusion and the mother, the darkness and the light, the comfort and the chaos.

And it’s only bc of a certain honorable SOLDIER that Sephiroth is able to remember what true care & concern is after all, and not a mere facade of it.

(Also!! Decided to ultimately discard the Masamune stuff for now, just so there can be a clearer focus on Jenova’s manipulation <33 No need to make things more messy shshshshdh xD)

Opening his eyes, the boy found himself surrounded by color.

Nature.

Rich, violet blooms pooling at his feet; gold-dusted pistils beading their centers; swaths of grass bursting beneath the flora and a maroon swirl of shadow that seemed to define land from sky, far from close, foreground from background…

He recognized this place.

This dream…

He sat up against the flower bed, inadvertently crushing a petal beneath his glove, thin strands of silver brushing against his nose with the sudden movement.

There was no wind here; no temperature, either. Just a tepid numbness, devoid of heat or cold, weatherless. Sunless. Moonless. Starless. He stared off into the blotted horizon, unsure of what he was even staring at, what he was looking for. He couldn’t seem to even remember what he was even doing before this; everything prior to his awakening was like a nebulous blur, a hollow memory. Where… was…? Time itself didn’t even seem to exist here, splintered and shattered and left to one’s own imagination, their own control. Ang…There was only emptiness here, distortion. Vagueness. Uncertainty. An illus—

“Sephiroth!”

And, at last, clarity.

The boy’s eyes widened.

“…Mother?”

He turned around, his heart jolting, his head whipping behind his shoulder to see a woman standing amid the flowers—Her… Jenova. Mother. Cladded in holy white, chocolate hair tied pristinely behind her neck, arms opened wide…

For him.

For him…

He was suddenly on his feet, racing across the purple blooms, running into her embrace: burying, burrowing, straining, clutching…

Everything made sense again.

“Sephiroth…?” Mother tilted her hand, a kind gesture of amusement, concern. “What’s wrong, dear?”

Sephiroth buried his face in her coat, dissolved into the familiar aroma—perfume, chemicals, flowers… “I’m-I’m sorry, Mother,” he quavered, shivering. “I’m so sorry…”

“Sorry?” Mother blinked, placed a soothing hand on his back, canting her head just a bit further. “What are you sorry for, dear? You have nothing to apologize for…”

Sephiroth sucked in his breath, a jagged inhale. “No… I do: I keep losing you,” he quavered. “I keep forgetting you. I…” He shook in his head, clutched fistfuls of the snowy coat. “…I even lost the locket I had of you…”—he trembled, he choked, he quivered—“…And I just want to be with you, Mother… all the time. Every evening. Every morning. I don’t want a picture of you… I want you. Every sundown. Always. Every single day…”

The boy strained his eyes, shivering, feeling like nothing more than a lost and helpless child…

But that was okay.

That was alright.

He could be vulnerable with Mother; he was safe with her, secure. Protected. Cherished. Wanted.

Always…

A slight shift, a squeeze, and he felt Mother’s arms tighten around him, pulling him closer.

She began rubbing gentle circles along his back.

“Oh, Sephiroth…” she placated, hushing melodically. “You’re so sweet�� Do you know that?”

Sephiroth opened his eyes, the teal fissures luminous against Mother’s angelic attire, the words catching in his throat.

He didn’t say a word.

Mother chuckled at his silence, closed her eyes and canted her head even further, holding him closer against her chest.

“Well, my treasure… You do know there is a way for us to be together, right?”

A hum; a coo; a whisper… Her words were something of a joyous sound, if not a little too carefree. Too saccharine. Cloying. A masquera—

For the first time since awakening, Sephiroth felt a hint of suspicion in his chest.

Something… something wasn’t…

But he couldn’t stop himself from asking, anyway: “There… is?”

Mother chuckled louder, carefully unwound her arms so that she could cup his face instead, the sylphlike fingers grazing the smooth skin of his cheeks as she gazed into his eyes… So warm. Glittering. Ponds of brown. Heavenly mirrors. Authentic. True. Honest. Warm. Loving…

Sinking into her touch, he let his eyes fall shut.

“Of course…” she whispered, breathed. “You just have to let go, Sephiroth.”

He didn’t want to open his eyes, too comfortable. “Let… go?” he repeated, dreamlike. Almost stuporous.

He heard Mother nod. “That’s right,” she repeated, hummed, chanted. “You just have to let go, dear… let go of the life you cling so desperately too… Let go of the useless bonds that tether you so… hold you back. Keep you and I from being… together…”

Somehow, the last word seemed to pulse in his skull, echoing and throbbing in his psyche, reverberating. Hammering. Coaxing.

It hurt.

Sephiroth winced against the painful sensation, the silver brow furrowing as he began to squirm and shift in his Mother’s grip.

Something… something wasn’t…

“What’s wrong, dear…?” Mother canted her head, and that ghostlike quality to her voice lingered, deepened. It echoed louder now; it seemed to make the world around him throb, strobe. Quick flashes of sickly green. “Don’t you want this, Sephiroth…?” she echoed, incanted. “To be with me…?”

Sephiroth squirmed faster, his heartbeat beginning to thunder, his breath sharpening in rising panic and realization:

No… No… NO…

He couldn’t move.

“Come, now…” Mother’s eyes pulsed, flashed before his own in blazing bursts of purple. “Don’t be difficult, Sephiroth…”

“What… what are you….?—“

“Shh… it’s alright now, dear. It’s all alright now…”

Suddenly, he found himself being drawn back into his Mother’s chest, his cheeks burning against his Mother’s touch, his feet skidding and kicking and balking as he tried to resist the pull, to pull his own arms free…

“Shh… Mother’s got you, Sephiroth…”

His hands only sank into her body, melted into her white-coated flesh like a limb sinking into quicksand—dissolving, submerging, disappearing, combining…

Sephiroth’s eyes widened in pure, unadulterated terror.

“Stop… STOP IT…!”

Sephiroth… Hey. You’re not really gonna run off by yourself, are you?

“Mother’s got you now…”

“No… No…!”

Sephiroth… you’re not acting like yourself… C’mon. We’re a team now… Hey! WAIT…!

“Shh…”

“Get… get…”

SEPHIROTH…!

“You’re safe, Sephiroth…”.

“Get AWAY from me!”

It all happened so fast, so suddenly: the pulses, the flashes, the scream. The roar. The gurgle. The burst of blood as he finally tore his arms free, stumbling backwards, falling to the ground, the feel of the flowers rotting beneath his back, dying. Degrading. Fading. The crack of the sky tearing asunder as her mirage was shattered, all at once, and a dense darkness gushed into the world to fill it in its wake; a brutal breeze whipped by, temperature and weather returning. Clouds. Stars. A moon. Trees. So many trees… A forest. Wilderness. Lost. Wutai. A mission. Desertion. Betrayal. A place had had run away to, running and running and running—

“YOU… TRAITOR…”

Reality.

He gasped, coughing on the frigid air, coughing the mud and rain out of his lungs…

The world pulsed around him.

“Oh, Sephiroth…”

His gloves sopping with blood and viscera, Sephiroth raised himself to his knees, crawled himself around to face the source of the distorted, garbled voice:

“Y-you…”

The woman was kneeling now, having sunk onto the grass, the gush of chocolate hair now gushing messily down her face as her shoulders trembled, quavered…

“Oh, Sephiroth…”

She was sobbing.

“Oh, my Sephiroth…”

The pulse in Sephiroth’s head died down, seeming to fade away, wane…

“Sephiroth…”

As did his anger.

“Mother?—“

“…Oh, Sephiroth…” she sniffled, choked, thin rivers of tears crawling down her face, trickling onto the grass. “I’m so sorry… Please…. Forgive me. I, I just…”—Her voice quivered, rose and fell in pitch—“I just… I just want my baby boy back. I want you safe… Oh, Gaia, I just want you safe…”

Even if he couldn’t feel its sting in full (he couldn’t seem to feel much of… anything), he knew his heart was twisting in his chest, contorting and warping into all sorts of unbearable shapes, sharpening and bleeding and burning.

He began to crawl toward her.

To see her… so vulnerable…

“Don’t… don’t cry, Mother…” he croaked, his voice fading away all again, dwindling into something of a numb smoke, “please…” Were those green flashes returning, or… or was that just his own head? A migraine? “Please, Mother…”

Crawling to her side, Mother finally lifted her gaze, those beautiful brown eyes glistening with torrid tears, strings of hair plastering to her dampened cheeks…

It almsot broke him.

“Please, Mother…” Sephiroth repeated, whispered. “What can I do…?”

Mother snuffled again, waiting a pregnant second to respond.

“You… you hate me,” was all she said.

The words seemed to form on Sephiroth’s tongue before he could even taste them.

“No… I don’t. Of course I don’t.”

She snuffled again, biting her lip, blinking hazily against the velveteen darkness.

“Yes… you do. I see it in your eyes.”

“My eyes are lying, then.”

She waited another beat after this, blinking again, swallowing thickly.

“…Sephiroth.”

Sephiroth immediately perked up. “…Yes?”

“Would… would you do anything for me?”

The response was immediate, reflexive.

Too reflexive…

“Anything.”

Sniffling once more, her lips curved back into a relieved smile upon hearing this, pawing at her dampened eyes with a dampened hand.

“…Then let go, Sephiroth.”

The words were clearer now, less echoey. More sincere. More earnest. More raw.

Sephiroth only canted his head now, listening.

“…You have to let go…” she repeated, pleadingly. “Let go of the worthless life They chained you to…”

Sephiroth’s eyes flickered, absorbed this. “…They?”

“That foul company…” Mother elaborated, a teardrop plunking onto the ground. “And all the worthless creatures you encounter…”

W-worthless…?

Sephiroth blinked, narrowed his eyes a fraction, feline slits widening for a beat. “But, Mother…” the boy’s voice was apologetic, poignant. “I… I can’t leave them: I’m… a SOLDIER.”

“No…” She immediately shook her head in denial. “You are my son… And you deserve better than Them…”

Mother reached out, sniffling, caressed a lock of silver hair in a gentle, tender stroke.

“…You deserve Love…”

…

Love…

Sephiroth closed his eyes, sank into her touch all again.

He felt himself going numb.

When… when had someone ever treated him so kindly…?

“That’s it, dear… Just let go.”

When… when had someone ever wanted to be with him…?

“Perfect Sephiroth… perfect…”

When…?—

“Perfect…”

I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do together, Sephiroth…

Sephiroth’s brow twitched, his eyes briefly straining.

It’s an honor…

He grit his teeth.

Hey… you don’t look so good, Sephiroth… I think we should take a break.

Concern.

He shook his head.

“…What? What are you doing, Sephiroth?”

C’mon… we’ll make a good team.

Kindness.

I’ll show you…

Not all people are like that.

Warmth.

“S… stop…!”

He clenched his teeth, forced the syllables out through his caged jaw:

“Ang…”

I’m just a rookie, you know…

But I heard a lot about you.

“…Geal…”

Rumors spread, but… I don’t really believe them.

If you ask me, there’s a lot more to you than meets the eye…

Sephiroth cracked his eyes open, fought through the crushing gravity that tried to keep them closed, weathered through the darkened storm that threatened to consume him, engulf him.

“STOP IT…!”

“STOP IT—!”

Reality…

“ENOUGH…!”

He shook his head; he roared; he tore away from Her spellbinding grip, pushed her hand away in a cold, furious rejection, scrambled away from the womanlike form, scrambled onto his feet.

“You’re not… you’re not REAL!”

He kicked the illusion, heard an unholy sound tear from the woman's lip, heard it growl and hiss and garble as it crumpled to the ground.

“How… how DARE YOU attack your Mother…?!

“My Mother…” Sephiroth’s eyes blazed with hot mist, “is DEAD…!”

And he ran.

He ran and ran and ran.

We… we are ONE…

He ran away from the facade, away from the illusion, away from the Lies.

You… cannot… ES… Ca… PE M…. E…!—

Those PESTS… THE… Y’LL…

…

THEY’LL LEAVE Y—

He ran and ran until he couldn’t hear Her anymore, until the horrible voice was severed like a bone, until he could see the first glints of dawn peeking over the shadowed horizon, until he saw the vague shape of a tent in the distance, in a clearing… Until he saw Them, his team… The cameraman… The burly outline of a SOLDIER, a proud sword…!

And he ran faster.

“Angeal…!”

The closer he got, the more dawn illuminated his face, allowing him to see the kind, concerned, warm Mako eyes as they widened against the gloom…

“Sephiroth…!—“

He didn’t even register what happened next, didn’t even care to process the passing of seconds:

All he knew was that, in some nebulous swath of time, he was embracing his ally, pulling him close, nearly bowling him over

“Sephiroth…?!”

And that some moments later, those burly arms were wrapping around him turn, holding him steady… Protectively. Warmly.

He couldn’t fight the tears anymore.

“Hey, hey, hey… it’s okay, Sephiroth… it’s okay… Holy, you’re shaking… Alright, alright… We’ve got you now… We’ve got you…”

“Wait, where the hell did he go…?!” Bachman roared.

“Not relevant right now!”—then, turning back to him, calmer”—It’s alright, Sephiroth… It’s alright now…”

His eyes still strained, Sephiroth managed a sniffle.

“…Angeal?”

“Yes?”

Sephiroth swallowed. “Thank you…”

“For what?”

“…Everything. For everything.” He cracked his eyes open, let a hazy bead of mist plunk onto the other’s arm. “For being my friend…”

A good, good friend…

To his surprise, Angeal only chuckled in response, a warm and cozy sound that rumbled against his chest. “Well… you know what? I’m gonna tell you the same thing I told my old friend Genesis…”

And he held him closer, sealing their embrace with a single phrase and promise:

“You’re stuck with me, friend. Forever.”

my personal take on all that goes on, i really think social media has played too much into idols minds especially the youngins and naturally so has their immature / young audiences. i mean topics like reading on idols fs wasnt around early internet days its really only become the norm because tarot readers have allowed it too as well and so they play responsibility into ppls obsessions with needing to know every lil detail and even they admit to take the readinfs with a grain of salt so it is not always accurate but i think ppl take it as too literal, if jk fs is or isnt a celeb shouldnt matter bc its like looking for a needle in a haystack? same goes for when some tarot readers claim an aspect of an fs nationality and some common trait they have with the idol anyone can claim it is them after thats been said.

i also think nowadays the way people literally lust after an idol (even if i think they personally are not exactly who they might show they are) but people will absolutely lose their minds at every small picture or gif and rsther than highlight the good thingd about the idol they only sexualise or make it about lusting after them. ive seen many unhinged posts where the person is screeching out "they need xyz member of ateez in them" and id think im glad they wrote it on tumblr bc ateez surely dont bother checking this platform, same with idols fs readings i think they wouldnt really care but maybe find it creepy after some time like whoever idols end up with is their person and i dont think their "fans" bother to address the fact of what the idol personally want or if they even want someone rn does this make sense?

its the same issue i have with shipping and how it can so easily be believed to be real but xyz member is always romantically tied to the member and clips of them are exagerated badly by the editing team to make it look more real when it just looks awkward at times again they dont question whether the idol themselves actually feel romantic feelings for one another, kpops so toxic for shoving so much male x male interactions that any time a male idol is remotely seen interacting or breathing too closely to a female idol or female of any sort it causes outrage online and even if i dont care it still is just wow are people that easily hateful and honestly as loveable as my faves can seem even seeing this behaviours puts me off wanting to be near them. i dont want to lose my hearing bc some girlies were screeching at the top of their lungs. also so many idol groups barely come to my location or nearest city and its like :/ we dont get no interaction maybe the odd concert but they wouldnt exactly care to stick around longer than that.

in fact im almost certain some members, not all but some of a group i like defo use the audience to hookup and i wouldnt be surprise if they lead them on either. im no saying they cant have fun but im just saying it as the way their fans really overlust on idols who wont give them the time of day to date and in fact

in a way it makes me a lot less delulu becaude ive already had that stage ehh its just a sexy move blah blah blah its a shirtless pic seen many of those oh look a celeb photographed in their underwear? what else is new?. i can just appreciate what i wanna appreciate about an idol without needing to be too extreme abt it but seeing the same behaviours unfold is crazy. as i was saying to someone else running to airports which r public spaces with other people needing to get somewhere is unhelpful to those who actually want to respectfully use airports not just to chase down celeb or idol. the overworship of idols is becoming more than just a problem it seems to lead to straight up delusion and mental illness type obsessions with some idols even egging it on and being that pretend bf material as they call it.

i dont think once jk meets his fs whether he would give a shit if 15 yos are crying online and causing meltdowns or having tantrums about int as they will do when its announced, i want her to meet jk but ik shits going to be awful for her and both of them actually. it feels like many of their fans truly dont want an idol to be happy tho fr.

Yeah ,social media has given us access to different type of content we can consume however we want ,and that's why it's imp to regulate what we are consuming and what shouldn't,now coming to tarot readers ,I think there are certain boundaries which tarot readers shouldn't cross , because not only it increases delusions,it's also not possible to get an accurate answer on those topics ,if a tarot reader is answering really specific questions or sensitive questions,you shouldn't trust that reader and ofcourse readers play a role in increasing or decreasing delusions ,

Whether jungkook FS is a celeb or not ,of course it shouldn't matter but then we have people who want to know for curiousity,although I don't know why it's so important ,or because they want to know ,and then we have a reader who will answer these questions,just because they don't find anything weird with it ,or they do this to grow blog ,or for followers

"Today jungkook FS is sad " or "she had a fight with someone" now the reader mentioned that take it with a grain of salt ,but every delulu or girls who really like him ,will think and take this general tarot reading which can resonate with million of girls to themselves, thinking,I had a fight with this person,I must be the one ,or I am sad I am the one , people literally take jungkook FS readings too seriously ,and that's because they want to convince themselves they are the one

Even questions about his FS nationality are wrong ,you can't pinpoint with tarot ,which country national she is and it's invasive too ,if a reader do this ,it's not good and its better to avoid trusting these readers who really answer every detail about her

I have thought about making a post about sexualisation of idols and their effects on the people sexualising them and I will soon , sexualisation of any celebrity is very wrong ,not only morally , ethically,there are many reasons,and even BTS or ateez members can possibly look up and see this on Tumblr😵‍💫( if any idol is here reading my blog ,hello 💀😅)so people who do this should stop and need to touch some grass ,and respectful to the people they like ,lust and liking are two different things ,lusting is treating them like an object

Why I think jungkook or any other FS is so popular,and FS readings,is because mostly people want to be the FS so bad ,so yeah ,it's a really private matter and reading about them once in a while is good ,but like some celebrities or their FS ,they never get a rest ,it's giving obsession

The point is people don't respect and acknowledge the fact that an idol can want someone else atp ,is I have seen alot in this community and it's wrong ,fans want to control their life and get hurt ( parasocial relationship) that they have someone they like romantically

Shippers are weird , because how are you assuming sexual orientation of an idol ,and K-pop is wrong for pushing idols to do these fanservice,and capitalising of this shipping things , I mean there can be idols who are ,or who can be queer but believing someone is this because they are doing fanservice is wrong and disrespectful

Fans allover the world are weird ,but K-pop took it to extreme,yeah fans don't want their idols to come near any female ,and that's why even in tarot community,you hear a rumor about an idol and then for the next two weeks their is definitely two three readings about it ,this type of behaviour is weird , because why you don't want your idol to not be with anyone

Yeah ,I can understand ,that's the reason K-pop idols don't date ,can't make friends like normal people,and even marry so late ,that Japanese celebrity who divorced his Spouse because fans were bullying her for straight 03 months ,if this is not peak of obsession,and abnormal behaviour I dont know what it is

Ofcourse kpop idols do this ,they do hookup and have fun ,we just don't really normally hear about it ,and it can be a possibility that they can lead them on to , ofcourse meeting an idol , befriend with them or even dating ,chances are very minute,good for you that you escaped that phase and grow out of it because many girls are still stuck in it ,the point is ofcourse there are million of fans ,and why would an idol care to date them and cater to them ,if they have don't want this ,if they want someone else as their partner

If people are respectful on the airport then it's not an issue as even idols would like to have someone cheering up for them on airports,but if they literally attack idols like I remember a clip of Jungkook where he was basically so overwhelmed by the fans there, of course it can lead to obsession,delusion,and other type of mental illness and yeah ,idols do behave in a certain way and that perfect boyfriend type for their fans and it kinda benefits them ,isn't it 😵‍💫

I honestly know how its going to be , because people cant literally digest a mere tarot reading ( like if a reader says he met his FS already ) people start this witch hunt of prying through tarot/astro ,other divination methods to know whether he met or not and go to different readers and then readers reading on his love life for weeks ,so I can honestly understand what will they face 👀

He honestly don't give a damn even now whether his fans are having meltdown or not ( as he should ) thats why he is enjoying his life ,making friends or even possibly dating whenever he want , whoever he wants ,whereas these girls are waiting for him to come to their life ,it's sad honestly

i dont want to be someone who has an obsession with an fs is there way to cut ties with fs and so they find someone whos both successful and can make them happier than what i couldnt offer for them?

I'm not really following your question here. No one is forced to be together in this life, which is why some people don't end up in relationships and others end up being happy in multiple. Nothing is fated in cement, and we control our fates with our actions. Life has different paths lain out for us based on our choices, because there's cause and effect for everything, and each new choice may open or close doors for us. So we are capable of an unprecedented amount of paths simultaneously, and everything is happening as it should all the time but we are still steering the ship, if that makes sense. This goes back to the multiverse/multi-timeline theory, and everything is simultaneously happening at once all the time, past, present, and future, overlapped with eachother and all connected but we can only perceive our own reality we are living. Time is a construct we create. Theres a lot of deep stuff here that is /why/ these things are, but it would take forever to explain and I don't fully understand /why/ myself. Feel free to jump into that rabbithole in your own time, though.

I personally believe we have multiple future spouse possibilities, because we're constantly changing and growing and becoming different versions of ourselves and people meet us while we're certain versions. Being with someone long-term just means loving each new version they become, ask anyone whos been married for 20+ years. People change. Love is an active choice. I know my husband and I are completely different people from when we first met, and we still choose to love eachother and get to know these new versions of ourselves. If you choose to be with one person your whole life then that is your person. If you choose to move on from one person and choose another, then those have both been your person at one point. You are choosing who you're meant to be with at all times.

So if you and your person are together, that means you have both chosen to love eachother, with whatever version you are at the time. Whether you continue to love eachother going forward is each of your own choices, so there is no need to fret about how to get away if it doesnt work out. If its not working out, one or both of you leaves, becausing leaving is another choice you are free to make at any time, whether you think you can or cant. Its that simple. There are more people out there for each of you. Love is an active choice we make, and so is leaving. Both are tough, so each person chooses their tough.

In terms of obsession, love is not obsession. Ever heard that famous poem, "Love is patient, love is kind, etc"? Well it's all true. Love is never a negative thing. Pure love will always just feel gentle and happy. Obsession is obsession and seperate. It's usually based on codependency issues, which a lot of people struggle with. If you are afraid of becoming obsessed with someone, then my advice to you is to work on yourself. Research healthy relationships, codependency issues, healthy boundaries, etc. Then you will have a better understanding on unhealthy and healthy relationships and what to be on the lookout for in the future. If something doesn't feel right, then change it. You are not powerless to your thoughts, emotions, and actions, in fact we can change all of it. Its actually the basis for cognitive behavioral therapy. Emotions may feel more powerful than our mind, but we will always have control over how we choose to act on those emotions.

Also, there will always be someone out there better than you. Its true for every single person on this planet. Someone will always have more money, be prettier, or smarter, or whatnot. You need to be able to accept that and trust that those who say they love you, love you for you, as you are, right now in that moment. In order to do that, you need to be able to love yourself, too. Every single person has a limitation somewhere, and its also true that there is always someone out there worse off than you too. You are not always at the bottom of everything. Have some confidence, accept your limitations, and learn how to work on trusting others. Pulling yourself away from someone's love they are trying to give to you because you are insecure is a problem that lies with you that needs to be worked on in order to find happiness and connection with others.

At this point in time I would recommend you stop worrying about future spouses and your future love life, and worry about yourself and who you are today and the difficulties holding you back or that may be detrimental to you in the first place. The future we truly want falls into alignment and comes easily when we are whole and aligned ourselves with who we truly are, not who we are with all the baggage and noise in our head that we need to unlearn. We pick up habits as we age that usually need to be adjusted, such as self confidence issues or anxiety, so we can come back into ourselves and who we were born to be. Everyone is unique and valuable in their own way, so take a second and find yourself and go on your own journey to becoming /you/. The rest of life you're looking for, future spouses and all that, will come when its meant to, when you are ready to make the choice to receive it.

sunny weather anon here! thank you for answering! yes you're right on hiyori meaning "harmony" because the character 和 is the chinese equivalent of conjunction "and" in english! though i was actually thinking about how hiyori was kaede's light towards swimming, since he never really took interest until he met hiyori at the sandbox. from the spoilers ive seen, we'll get to see that complex "sunshine" character of hiyori through kaede's perspective. cant wait for the moviee!!

Ahh yeah, I’m curious to see more of Kaede’s perspective as well as how Hiyori is fitting in with everyone! I feel like the story before FS leaves off riiiight as so many characters are breaking out of molds or setting new goals for themselves, so the movie (as much as it sets to focus on the pro swimmers and their journeys) is a great chance to see what everyone is up to. Just from what I’ve heard about so far, it seems like we get to see more about where Hiyori started (some of that shyness/loneliness and dependence/hope tied to swimming with Ikuya) and how he’s evolved since then (getting closer with Makoto and Kisumi, supporting Ikuya without feeling like it’s a high-stakes obligation of sorts). It’ll be cool to see more of these details unfold, showing Hiyori finally planting roots and putting faith in bonds (something it seems like he didn’t get to do much while moving around so much growing up) while Kaede reflects on how he came to move in the opposite direction, losing faith in friendship/bonds. There has to be more to the story that led him to become so detached, like whatever is going on with his brother and Ryuuji, but it’s interesting how that brief build-up and letdown with Hiyori sparked such a wild domino effect in Kaede’s life. I want to see this movie so bad already for a bunch of reasons, but the Hiyori and Kaede crumbs will be something to watch out for definitely!!

recently ive been getting more into my art for once and really enjoying my art and the act of drawing and making art, and i thought that fs stuff was helping that, but the more i tihnk abt it, its the characterrs i made, not fanspecies

and with so many more followers on this blog than my main or my art blog, i feel like im defining mysellf by homestuck fan content, dont get me wrong i love doing this sprite stuff and making hs fan characters but. i cant get a job with this, i cant get paid with this, at no point did anyone want to pay me for this either

and honestly some of the fanspecies stuff ive made isnt tied to hs at all, other than one or two drawings of them in godtier and the cameo of a troll in the art ive done. i havent thought about siluri or chirufes or brownies in a sburb session or anything connected to actual hs stuff almost ever, and the only reason sphynx are is cos i made them in 2015 specifically for my fansession idea with my fankids

idk im rambling this is going nowhere ive just been thinkinng abt this shit for a while and recent stupid events have been bringing it to light for myself i guess

Y’ALL this is a loaded question. lemme keep this brief also general trigger warning for self harm/suicide mention

a) aos was promoted as a look behind the scenes of shield, their tagline was “not all heroes are super” but WAIT HANG ON A MINUTE WE FORGOT THAT YES THEY HAVE TO BE and don’t me wrong here i love that agents of shield is superhero daisy johnson’s origin story but the original concept was so good???? like a little ragtag group of regular people coming together and dealing with superhero shit??? amazing

b) goodbye winter soldier u ruined the team bus family

c) things get so dragged out and repetitive??? hydra just kept coming back in different ways, fs got dragged out for so long, ward just kept getting dragged into the plot, how many similar shady organizations have we seen, etc etc time to let some things go

d) this ties into the dragging things out thing but- shorter seasons. look I wasn’t wild about the three “pod” s4 thing when they first talked about it but it WORKED. I liked the tighter storylines. like I know most people want as much of this show as they can get but imagine if they kept the seasons shorter I feel like they could tell a better story

e) I would get them some gosh darn honest to goodness burn your eyeballs out powered by the sun blindingly bright fricking lightbulbs

f) buddy the dog is there with no explanation he’s just there also he’s the new director

g) lets handle self harm and suicide and depression a little better please it would be great for my mental health ok thanks

h) i honestly cant remember what most of season three was about so i guess we can scrap the whole thing????? except for 4722 hours?????

i) bobbi and hunter wouldn’t get written out of the show just to go die in canceled spin off land

They need MAJOR help. Simmons is a sideline to sideline defender who hits hard, covers a lot of ground, can play man coverage and cover a running back out of the backfield. Simmons has even matched up with slot receivers this years. His best fit is going to be as a Will linebacker in the NFL, but he's going to be an asset. Think Minkah Fitzpatrick."

Cleveland Browns select OT Jedrick Wills, University of Alabama Cleveland got the QB, the RBs, the star WRs, the pass catching TEs and.....well they forgot the OL. Cam Robinson was a disaster, their interior OL is a mess and despite having a great OL coach, they couldnt protect Mayfield enough to prevent him from seeing metaphorical ghosts. A regime change is going to help but a real change in what the talent level needs to be up front is the biggest hurdle that needs clearing. Jedrick Wills is a blessing at this point in the draft and can play either tackle spot. Again protect your investments.

New York Jets select WR CeeDee Lamb, University of Oklahoma "- Jets need weapons in a bad way and need someone on that team to give him help besides Robbie Anderson. Enter CeeDee Lamb. In a loaded WR class, he is just behind Jerry Jeudy at the top of the heap. He has great hands, is a sharp route runner and is the most polished receiver in the draft class. I'd argue he has better body control than Jeudy, and his RAC ability is elite. The only drawback is his speed. While he is not overly fast though, polished footwork and craftwork allows him to create seperation against DBs."

Oakland Raiders select WR Henry Ruggs, University of Alabama I bet that the Raiders will absolutely positively have conversation about trading up in the draft to grab a QB, using their gamut of picks to play around with getting a Herbert or a Tua. I even considered Jordan Love here or a Javon Kinlaw. In the end, I wonder if the Raiders feel as though no matter who is throwing the ball, they simply can't win on the outside with Tyrell Williams as the lead dog WR. They DID make the move for Antonio Brown which of course backfired. A pure speed stud like Ruggs could open things up for Gruden's offense which already boasts a solid TE and RB combo.

Indianapolis Colts select WR Laviska Shenault, University of Colorado "- Colts have no play-makers beside Hilton and occassionally Mack. Shenault is a stud receiver, who had a down year this year compared to the remarkable 2018 where he brought in 85 receptions on a BAD Colorado team. In short, Shenault made Steven Montez look good. Great speed, physical runner, and has great potential after the catch."

Tampa Bay Buccaneers select FS Grant Delpit, LSU There's a lot of options for Tampa Bay but no perfect fits. Todd Bowles' defense would probably love to have a guy like Delpit who exists to make plays on the ball and basically is your dream free safety or a defensive tackle like a Neville Gallimore or an edge like AJ Epenesa. With all options at their disposal, I think Grant Delpit is cleanest fit. Also of course QB Jordan Love is around too if you want to get nuts.

Denver Broncos select CB Treveon Diggs, University of Alabama "Need a corner to shut down a side of the field. Brings added value as a punt and kick returner. Has excellent speed and athleticism. Broken foot in 2018 that raised some concern, but a solid 2019 saw a return to form."

Atlanta Falcons select DT Javon Kinlaw, University of South Carolina With Grady Jarrett as the star 3-tech for a Seattle Seahawks-y Cover 3 scheme, a 1 technique who can wreak some havoc and take some pressure off of Jarrett, Tak McKinley and a genuinely bad awful secondary would be a big help for Dan Quinn as he fights for his job. Kinlaw is the sort of big bodied with athleticism type of interior presence that Seattle offshoots have needed.

Dallas Cowboys select DE Yetur Gross-Matos, Penn State University "-Taco Charlton is a bust, Robert Quinn isnt a long-term solution, but Demarcus Lawrence gets a running mate. 40 tackles last year with 9.5 sacks after a breakout Sophmore season where he had 8 sacks and 54 tackles. Strong, physical, gets upfield, burgeoning pass rusher and a great run defender. Cowboys get a good one."

Miami Dolphins select DE AJ Epenesa, University of Iowa If you look at the sort of DEs who succeed in a Brian Flores style system, it's guys like AJ Epenesa. Talking big bodied guys who have enough bend to be versatile edge rushers with the size, strength and toughness to win on the interior if need be. Epenesa would be the ultimate chess piece defensive linemen who would give the Dolphins a serious boost upfront and would add culture, grit and skill to a defensive line currently anchored by Charles Harris and Taco Charlton.

Oakland Raiders: selectJordan Love, QB, Utah State "- Lets get fucking weird. Marijuana suspension aside, the Carr experiment is over. Jordan Love is a guy that Gruden would love, with the intangibles, the arm and the ability to make plays. Gruden fell in love with his skillset doppleganger in Josh Allen and this time around, won't let his guy slip. Gruden gets his QB for better or worse."

Jacksonville Jaguars select OT Tristan Wirfs, University of Iowa Wirfs falling this far feels like a stretch BUT he's here and Jacksonville gets to take him! A rock solid all around tackle prospect who will probably not be the same level athlete as Willis or Thomas, Wirfs is your immediate starter at either tackle spot for Jacksonville that's probably full bore into Minshew Mania next year.

Philadelphia Eagles select WR Justin Jefferson, LSU "Alshon Jeffery cant stay healthy, DeSean Jackson is old and Justin Jefferson has a sure set of hands, size, and height. A new number one is needed, and Wentz (if he stay healthy, which I don't believe he can), gets another target."

Buffalo Bills select WR Tee Higgins, University of Clemson To the credit of the Bills, they've built a nice little offense with a lot of smaller quicker pieces like John Brown, Cole Beasley, Isaiah McKenzie and Devin Singletary. It feels like it's time to add some size to the outside as Josh Allen has a big arm and could probably make some magic with a good jump ball WR. Enter Tee Higgins who is acing things as a big bodied clutch target for Clemson.

Patriots select TE Albert Okwuegbunam, University of Missouri "- They havent had a relevant TE since Gronk retired and need someone able to run block as well as haul them in. Gifted. Nice hands, athletic. Fits that system perfect."

New Orleans Saints select CB Kristian Fulton, LSU Somehow Fulton fell to this spot? Okay then. Marshon Lattimore is a stud but the Saints have been trumpeting out dudes like Eli Apple, PJ Williams and Janoris Jenkins opposite him. Fulton fits the size, build, length and playmaking mold of what the Saints want on the outside and when you combine him and Lattimore? There's shutdown duo potential here.

Tennessee Titans select Jaelen Reagor, WR, TCU "Speed demon, and someone to go along with Brown as an actual threat to take the pressure off of Derrick Henry. Big play threat who can take the top off a defense. Grades out similarly to a Will Fuller or Hollywood Brown."

Minnesota Vikings select CB Paulson Adebo, University of Stanford Trae Waynes may be out of Minnesota and the Vikings secondary has struggled to figure out if Xavier Rhodes is in the midst of a brief slump or a full blown decline. Paulson Adebo is solid DB depth; a long lengthy corner who can play press man or off in zone. He can make plays on the ball too and tackles really well so he fits everything Mike Zimmer is going to want in a DB.

Miami Dolphins select RB Johnathan Taylor, University of Wisconsin "Nox hates this pick, because he hates nice things, but the Dolphins need a running back. Like they're leading rusher this year was Ryan Fitzpatrick. Seriously. I'm not even lying. He lead them with 430 yards. Jonathan Taylor will give them a strong, physical back who can carry 20 times a game, eat some carries, get some yards while giving Tua a soft-spot to land in 2021 alongside Devante Parker. See? Thats thinking long-term."

Seattle Seahawks select CB CJ Henderson, University of Florida It's Seattle. They're going to take DEs and DBs in the first round. CJ Henderson is another Cover 3 corner with length, size and the requisite toughness. A bit has been made of a few subpar tackling efforts but I think that's somewhat overstated. Pete Carroll gets another fit for the secondary.

Kansas City Chiefs select Raekwon Davis, DE, Bama "Dominant inside lineman and wouldn't hurt to shore up that defensive line and add depth to a shaky defensive core that needs to get younger."

Green Bay Packers select CB Bryce Hall, University of Virginia The Packers could maybe use another TE to pair up with Jace Sternberger, they could maybe use another WR who could help take some pressure off of Devante Adams, they could maybe use OL help or another DL but I like the idea of Bryce Hall as a potential Kevin King replacement should he not get re-signed after next season. This is now my third straight DB pick but I feel like there's a lot of superb secondary names in this class.

San Francisco 49ers select OT Trey Adams, Washington "Niners grab an understudy for Joe Staley, start him as a guard then move him outside. Standout LT in the Pac 21, kept both Jake Browning and then Jacob Eason upright. Smooth lineman with length and size. Uses his leverage to sustain block. Quick feet and athletic on the edge. Stays healthy? He's a franchise left tackle."

Baltimore Ravens select LB Kenneth Murray, University of Oklahoma Well II mean I know I forgot this guy existed actually. Murray in Baltimore where he can be a somewhat undersized-ish 3-4 ILB who plays at pretty much the speed of light would be a tremendous selection. Good coaches find ways to use elite players and that;s what Murray is and that's how Murray SHOULD be used.
