this would probably be really impractical and i doubt they'd ever do it (if puyo games even continue getting dubbed...) but sometimes i kinda wish you could switch between eng and jpn voices on individual characters. like i'd say generally? i prefer jpn? but man megan taylor harvey and zeno robinson just knocked their performances out of the park sooo much as marle and squares and i always miss them when im playing in japanese

#bri talks #also just on ppt2 EN specifically since so much of the returning cast has a lot of reused lines #which like would not be that bothersome if it didnt obviously have a really different voice director #like klug is SO screechy in ppt1 but he's not in ppt2 and its really jarring to hear the game switch between those #i cant really even blame them for it bc yknow... covid game...#but it doesnt make it any less weird as a player
