#there is a poster with my exact issue 8 years ago: good#i cannot understand the suggested fix: bad (am in geek hell)#there is a forum (the whole thing is forum) and they do respond#but it is very the xkcd experts comic#all the pinned posts for the Tools For Maintaining the Collection are literally just name + zip file + update version#no explanation of what they do or how to use them or why#i want to abandon tools and start manually merging folders#but i know that way lies despair and madness after i get through the first couple megapacks#you have to use the merge tool to use the clean tool and the clean tool fixes errors and i don't want to manually fix errors y'all
