Saw this cool critter outside
#insect#photos#dragonfly#thought its an emperor at first but noticed the inner curve of the bottom pair of wings is different#so i believe its a hawker#aeshna cyanea#fits better for the coloration as well#i cannot tell if its a male or female. thought female but theres that thinner part on the body#but the markings arent as clear?#but the end parts look like a males#in this light i cant tell if the dark color is black or brown#okay but apparently the pointy curve of the wings is a male trait so#id say its a young male
