Oh Thank you for mentioning the neurodivergency!!! I share a lot of traits with the twins so i read them both as autistic but I've noticed some clearly think Emmet is more and they even make him act way much more rude to the point that it feels abusive and exaggerated.

And i dont feel comfortable with that, just say you secretly think us autistic are an annoyance or a way for the depiction abusive relationships. This brothers care for each other, i don't think Emmet would force and hurt Ingo a side from playful bites.

Or when they write Ingo as completely oblivious to his twin's advances or like 'oh i don't know what is he doing to me?' as if we're not people able to have a sexual drive and sexual intimacy.

So so sorry i rambled here, i just hate when they take agency from them because 'hurr hurr they neuro divergent, im infatalize them' as if they werent grown ass men who pay taxes. They are between their 25-30, thats like a millennial i think.

I love soft cuddles and hand touches, but sometimes they want more, dont take their agency away.

Someone went ahead and brought up the elephant in the room before I had a chance to possibly offend the whole world. They're neurodivergent, yet they're (25? 35? 45?) years old, higher up in the employment food chain and functional enough to be around lots of people every day. Presumably, they'd been attached at the hip their entire lives, and they share a close enough bond that they'd always be on the same page. If Emmet was going to be that abusive, it would have come up early in their lives, and they'd have been separated, possibly with Emmet doing time.

I actually have a similar nervous tic that's written for the twins. I have a personal joke (and hope people don't take offence) that a lot of stuff they do that cannot be explained gets lumped in with their autism diagnosis, just because people can't find a better explanation. Why was Emmet able to get Arceus in a head lock? Autism. -But anyway, yeah, they can be written as touchy-feely and still be autistic. Maybe nobody else gets let into their two car train? It also makes sense that they'd be whatever age they are and still trying to figure themselves out and how they relate to each other.
