hi idk if you're a huge kalos fan but how are you feeling about the direct
I haven't watched it yet, but ngl Kalos wasn't my favorite OR my least favorite pokemon game, I was pretty neutral on it overall. My main complaint was how annoying the map was to traverse before you got fly, but aside from that it was fine, introduced some cool pokemon and had a decent plot. Tbh for the next Legends game I would have preferred Jhoto, but eh. It's not a huge deal to me.
My real issue is that it's a little hard to get excited about it when I know how bad crunch is at Game Freak and that despite saying they were reevaluating their tight release cycle bcs like, ScarVi was borderline unplayable at launch and Arceus got abandoned the second they were done with it despite being the most popular game in years....I just have no faith that this game will be good, or at least it won't be anywhere near as good as it has the potential to be :/
I hope I'm proven wrong tho, and I don't think it's wrong to be excited about the game, something something no ethical consumption and I'd be a major hypocrite if I told people to drop any game company that has bad practices bcs almost all of them do, I just can't get hype. I was really, really hoping Game Freak would slow the hell down and stop making new games for a couple of years, put all of their focus on gen 10 and release that maybe in 2026 or 2027, but nope gotta make that money even if the games we release are falling apart at the seams and our devs are working on two or three projects at once.
And like, given the current trend in decreasing quality I'm genuinely unsure if the game is even going to be functional enough to be worth playing, especially since I figure to hit a 2025 release they probably started working on this right after Arceus came out, and there has simply not been enough time to make this game good. Plus there were a lot of points in ScarVi where I legit just wanted to put the game down and stop playing entirely bcs the graphics and glitches and framerate drops started to make me annoyed and dizzy, and once I was done with the main story I lost like all motivation to keep playing(I like finishing my dex, I did it in Sw/Sh and Let's Go and have almost done it in BDSP and Arceus, but I don't care about ScarVi's dex at all), and I haven't even bought the DLC yet. Tbh I'm probably not even gonna pre-order this, I'm waiting till it's out to decide if I want to buy it or not.
Anyway sorry to be a buzzkill, I don't fault anyone for being excited, I've loved Pokemon for more than half my life, it helped me meet my fiancé, it really means so SO much to me, so I get it, but like....I think I love the series too much to get excited for this. Seeing what Pokemon is turning into is just...painful and sad. I hope y'all enjoy it tho, and who knows, I could be wrong, maybe it will be fantastic and super polished and we can all breathe a sigh of relief bcs they got their shit together! That would be nice.
Edit: I do want to say I'm glad it has been 3 years instead of the usual 2, and I'm VERY glad they didn't announce gen 10, but unless the scope of this game is narrow as fuck and they also don't release until like November-December 2025 AND this team was NOT the same team who worked on ScarVi's DLC that is still not enough time to make a game with the scope they've been establishing as their new baseline. TOTK took SIX years to finish. Elden Ring's DLC was built on top of an existing game and it still took TWO whole years just to make it. Most open-world games take a really, really long time. Adding an extra year is great, but they need to be taking a lot longer than that between games. This is a step in the right direction, but it's not enough to inspire confidence.
#pokemon crit#most of the modern gaming industry gets by releasing a new huge game every like 6 years or so#and they're promising shit on the scope of TOTK or Elden Ring especially with that $60 price tag#I just don't think three years is enough time to make a game like that#especially especially since ScarVi's DLC literally JUST came out#and it was a big one

'im gonna wait till the dlc releases' i said 'im not gonna think about them too deeply' i said
turns out im a fucking liar lol can't wait for phantom liberty to come out and for this to be ooc but when has canon ever stopped me
Kurt Hansen/OC No plot. Just leading into the horny.
“So, what will it be?”
She pauses for all of a moment. A crucial one, but a mere moment nonetheless.
Her lips twitch before they split to show perfect pearly-whites in a grin, he feels the pull of cable and synthetic muscle under the loose grip of his hand as she tilts her head back. Baring her throat to his teeth, bracing herself with a hand against his knee.
It’s a pretty view, even if the gold of her cybernetics don’t glint as brightly in the sickening glow of his bar. He reckons she must be a sight in the city, catching the sun at perfect angles in her ivory tower. Chrome blinding with a polish that’ll wear off in mere hours amidst the grime of his territory.
Damn shame that fancy polish and fancier poise of hers just reeks of corpo, the smell got all the dogs in his gutter foaming at their mouths. She’d have been torn apart if she hadn’t scrambled under his protection as quickly as she did.
Yeah, damn shame.
He’s suffering for it, having her on his lap like it’s a throne.
“Good girl,” he hums, drinking in what she offers now. Smirking at the notable little shudder in her next breath as his thumb glides over the gilded column of her neck, eyes trailing further upwards still to where her lips have parted.
The hand not holding her throat works to undo his belt and while her eyes can’t follow his motion, she picks up on that tell-tale sound. He can tell, with that little flick of the tongue to wet her lips, the slight spread of her thighs.
He’ll have to make a mess of that fancy lipstick. Make a mess of her.
Just a little way of welcoming her into his fold.

Shh, it's about that game, don't look.
Welcome back, Bomb Flowers! Haven't seen footage of them being collected tho. Maybe they're an Eldın exclusive and were artificially placed in the inventory for the demo.
Lots of plant names seem to be awkward puns. Usually I like puns and defend them, but man.
The text in the cookbook is low-contrast - thankfully, the game footage doesn't seem to be! From what I've seen of vanilla BоTW (not on actual Swıtch tho), it was really low-contrast; I hope that issue was fixed.
So there's not only Malice, but a new dark gooey matter that hurts you, which is called Gloom, and sunlight-imbued flora (like a Sundеlion) protects you from it. Explains the ink monster from the trailers. Is Gloom more prevalent underground? And, more importantly, did Gаnоndоrf get his grubby opportunistic hands on this brand new form of evil(?) yet?
Why the Yıga parаglider tho? Are those guys relevant? Do we explore the bottomless pit? Sure hope they're less of a comic relief now.
The iconic toga-like set from all the promos is called "Archaic" and seems to be the equivalent of BоTW's "Worn" set from the Shrine of Rеsurrection. The warmer greeves, then, serve as a Warm Doublet. On that note, I hope someone'll make a "fashionofthekingdom dot com" for the outfits in this game, I liked playing dress-up with the OG fаshiоnоfthеwild site.
Boss Bоkо cute.
Zоnai pachinko machine. Wwow. Can't wait till these things start ruining speedruns because of a bad RNG!
Did they really reuse Kоrok text from BоTW? Is Hеstu relevant? Or is it a placeholder, and the lil' guys actually have smth more spoiler-y going on?
Maps?? Physical paper maps as an item??
Hey @/melonsap, are you interested in a new Zоnai ore to add to your Mаster Swоrd ore post?
A new, currently unnamed, ability was seen on the abilities wheel and is said to be obtained post-Sky Plateau, but seemingly not late-game, and the wheel still has plenty of room left. "Tears = functional Sage Medallions with unique unlockable abilities" theory confirmed? But it's purple, and no known Tears are purple, and it'd be reasonable to expect matching colors if there's a Tear-ability correlation... Maybe we get a surprise Shеikah Sage (Pауа? Purаh? Impа?) with that purple Tear. The hypothetical feet pictogram ability would've helped to shed a light on this mystery, but I haven't seen that pictogram in the footage.
The afformentioned unnamed ability shows three hands (in a veeery familiar shape of three stacked triangles, but that's most likely a red herring) and is said to "streamline the Ultrаhаnd" in these exact words by two different YTbers. Maybe it allows to save your Ultrаhаnd creations as blueprints? I swear I remember hearing something about saving those, and it'd be both reasonable to give out to playtesters w/ a limited playtime and easy not to spoil.
Travel Mdallion. Seemingly still a DLC. When I saw it first, I assumed it'd be vanilla now and got hyped, but I feel in that case its design would've been more Zоnaified. ...Unless it's a Tear-unlockable ability, too? Maybe this belongs to a hypothetical Shеikah Sage? Or, judging solely by the color, Sidоn?
Maybe Champion abilities are still in the game, but relegated to the Tears.

How it started vs how its going..
From level 39-40ish to 105! Daedra has come along fine, another great work of mine that im immensely proud of! 49 hours in, I'm busting ass and sledding fast.. Bloodhound's Fang is my FAVOURITE weapon. So im sure it'll stay with me till endgame.
I've completed Ranni's quest, going to free Blaidd at some point and then let him go crazy (for his armor and sword.. Then never again) and whatever ending Dae is gonna get, im excited!
When i faced the Mimic Tear Daedra, i was just amazed and laughing the whole time. Wasn't expecting to see him! And then i got the Mimic Tear Ashes and it's brought nothing but joy! Im over joyed seeing another Daedra, fuckin shit up like he does..
Im going insane.. I love this game so much. Daedra's development has been a real journey and i can't wait for the Paid DLC! I'll actually wait this time and not do it in NG+7 like i did with Ashes of Ariandel. (Thinking about doing a sorcerer run soon 👀)
And god, the lore? Heart wrenching, fucked up, absolute souls story telling. Just splendid, in my opinion.
#mori speaks#elden ring#OC: Daedra#i live here now#the lands between? thats my house now. all of it.#love getting my fashion souls on#raging wolf set was the one armor i really wanted ever since i seen the network test bloody wolf class#fav set.. he do be stylin#i love him.. hes my son

Honestly, the main problem with Sylvain lies within the reason WHY he is flirting with girl.
Like, the idea of someone as traumatized as he is using this as a way of coping and then it is treated as a joke ... is bad. Really. And this coupled with his flirting ends up damaging his character because he has a character outside of flirting : his complicated relationship with the Crest system and his brother, he is a pretty clever guy and is actually interesting ... when he is not trying to woo you or when the plot finally stop making fun of him, which I repeat, results from trauma, for that.
The difference between him and Inigo is that Inigo isn't doing it because of his trauma, but because he is shy and it's the only way he can talk with people without becoming all flustered and the only reason why he is shy is because of Shy DNA comming from Olivia rather the a side effect of having grown up in the literal apocalypse. He has a character outside of flirting too and in Awakening, he doesn't flirt much with the ladies of the cast, just Kjelle, Severa and Female Robin... and a bit with Female Morgan. Now granted, he still have supports that are talking about his flirting habits to make him sound like an idiot and make fun of him and the Awakening localization sort added to this so stuff like him being contanstly robbed off and tricked by female thieves aren't funny, but are showing his behaviour is actually putting other at risk. Because the Awakening localization did added some difference to his support : like the awful Nah one, when he though he was dying, he wasn't talking about women, he was saying he though he finally reunited with his parents or the one with Noire where rather then him flirting with literal paper, Noire was making a remark he only flirt with women he doesn't consider to be friend.....but other then that he has a character. His support with Olivia or his B-A support with his father show that, there is his dialogue with Owain in Harvest Scramble and with Robin in Spring Scramble : one evokes when he had to kill a human for the first time and was not feeling ok at all. The other is about how he thinks he can't stay with Olivia because "well, she isn't my actual mother, I ain't her actual son so I can't steal that from my past self because I ain't him" and Robin giving him actual confidence on Olivia's love for him, or his contribution in the Future Past 2 DLC; or his own dialogue in Infinte Regalia or Death's Embrace. And then, when he reappareas but as Laslow, I think pretty much anyone agrees that he has the best support in the Entire cast. It does a much better job at showing he has a character outside of "I-I flirt because I am shuy uwu" like even the one where he does flirt such was with Corrin, he actually gives her real advice compared to the support with Robin where we have to wait till support A for her to be like "oh, ok he isn't just a flirting idiot, he actually cares for his friends", no he actuall he gets to speaks about how he has to deal with separating with people. He is literaly one of the only character that helps Peri deals with her issue. He helps Felicia who is shy and clumsy. His supports with Azura are a genuine gem. He also gives some tips to Mozu, ..; heck his only BAD support is with Hanna. The only one.
There is also the drama CD where he is shown to be a responsible guy and when Gerome refused to leave the future, he insisted that he would stay with him just so that Gerome and Minerva don't remain alone. And the fact that in Birthright, he is the ONLY one of the Trio to canonically die even if you don't kill him in the map shows his devotion towards Xander.
While his flirting can easliy get old past, at least it isn't damaging his character compared to Sylvain, who is much better post timeskip and also better in Hopes since he cuts it out faster.
So yeah, those two too have a character and some depth other then "haha flirty guy idiot laugh funny"
late night realization that the reason I don't like the flirty guys in modern fe is that it's basically their entire personality. "but inigo/sylvain/etc are actually traumatized, there's a reason they act like that!" yeah, they are, and it's bad character writing to have a Big Dramatic Reveal hold up a substandard personality, especially when "haha wacky womanizing antics" is that personality. I say this as someone who actually likes inigo and sylvain. it's frustrating because it's one-facet character writing.
"but the contrast between the wacky antics and the dramatic reveal is what makes those characters any good!" there have been funny flirty guys where the dramatic reveal is that... they actually have a character outside of just flirting
like, Saul is actually a high-ranking member of the church who's trusted enough to be on a mission looking for the Fire Emblem. Igrene doesn't believe in God, but respects his belief that God wants people to overcome their hardships by themselves. he calls Oro a disgrace to the church. he does all this while remaining funny haha man
Sain from Blazing Blade also has his moments. tells Kent to talk to Lyn about his feelings. apparently an excellent subcommander of the knights and was beloved by the common people. he's incredibly loyal to the point it botches his Priscilla ending because he won't go to Etruria with her. memes on Lundgren because he's besties with Kent. he gets main story dialogue where he calls Darin despicable when he hears that he left his son behind to die. he also does this while remaining funny haha man
in conclusion: characters being deep is good, them not being that is bad, also play blazing blade it's fun

Azure Moon Ch 20 Reactions
Hi everyone, spoilers below for Fire Emblem Three Houses AM route up till Ch 20 and all the other routes roughly the same spot.
Pre-Battle
Time to take Fort Merceus. If I remember right, I get to fight the Death Knight . . . again. Still feels better than fighting with that guy. Same like last chapter saving Claude felt so much better than killing him in CF.
Ah, it's so nice to hear Dimitri's voice again.
"Perhaps a head-on siege was a foolish plan, after all." LAMO I love how wonky battle strategy is in most stories compared to real life. A head-on siege is actually smart. The nonsense about disguising soldiers and relying on tricks isn't how things really went most of the time.
There's instances of tricks working throughout history (one of my favorite was how a Chinese General sent out dancing girls to distract his enemy and it WORKED), but that means your whole plan hinged on a trick working and most of the time when an army used a trick it's because that was their ONLY choice.
Just remember this folks. Good army commanders aren't the one who know the most tricks, it's the ones who win (or the one who can keep their army together even when they keep losing like George Washington for the longest time). Don't listen to the movies.
Also, bows were soooooo much more effective than swords. Our penchant for giving every hero a sword actually has classist roots since it was the weapon of the rich because it cost a lot to make and time to properly learn unlike a spear or arrows.
Sorry, but it always annoys me whenever I see stuff like this misrepresented, and I like to rant about it.
See, there we go, Gilbert for the win. "I don't think the Death Knight would've fallen for any tricks." Well, aside from why on earth we still fear this guy aside, bravo for not hinging success or failure based on some wonky trick.
And now Gilbert's talking about supplies. I could KISS this man right now. And now reinforcements. Thank you, Gilbert 😭
Oh, man, I get the option to flirt with Dimitri, I'm taking the "Will you save me if I'm in trouble?"
Aw, Mercie, you're better off without him. Dimitri's letting her step away too, if she wants. But best girl (one of them) isn't about to run away like the champ she is.
Battle
Do we ever learn why the Death Knight is so obsessed with Byleth?
LAMO Dimitri's like "wow, I know why this fortress is known for being impregnable," says he after busting through the front door on day 1. There's a joke somewhere here about Dimitri's incredibly potent dick.
I wanted Mercie to attack the Death Knight, but she couldn't take the hit. So Byleth one-shot him with a crit lol. Byleth wouldn't have killed if she didn't crit, and then Mercie would've gotten her chance, but alas it wasn't meant to be.
Poor Mercie deserves a better older brother.
Dimitri MVP. This is my surprised face.
Post-Battle
Poor Mercie is an angel and has nothing to be sorry or. I like that she gets this scene though. I feel like every member of the Blue Lions got their own mini-arc.
Time to take down the Empire, aw yeah.
Which means I'm coming up on the last monastery visit for BL. For all the routes really. This has been such a long journey. I have no idea what I'll do with my free time after this lol. The DLC I guess. and then more Azure Moon!
I'll wait and see how the other routes wrap up, but I feel this game has a high replay value, but I don't know if I can bring myself to play a route where Dimitri dies again.
Dimitri's such a workaholic. I can't relate.
Good! The Kingdom is all united now. Glad Sylvain is speaking well of his father. It makes Margrave Gautier seem like a more fleshed-out person and not just an excuse for Sylvain angst. (as much as I love some good angst)
Oh, so some Faerghus nobles were behind Duscur. I thought it was those lame mole men? Having corrupt nobility behind is sooooo much more interesting.
Hey, I just noticed. No light bombs in this route. Cause we actually just killed the Death Knight.
"I only did what I believed was right." Says the prisoner. Seems like it's the theme of Three Houses as a whole summed up there. Pending on your perspective, what's "right" and "wrong" look very different.
Ohhhh so Patricia wasn't supposed to be harmed at all, and Dimitri was supposed to die too. Makes it seem like she really did set that up. If she really was involved, what an awful, selfish, sad excuse for a person that would condemn so many people to brutal deaths just because she missed her daughter. I sincerely hope there's more to her than "oh, I miss Edelgard. I'll hand my husband and other child over to burn to death so I can please my own desires."
What do you all think of Patricia? Is she a pathetic sad waste of air or an enigma we'll never find out or a poor hapless victim in a plot she didn't understand or mostly an innocent? What's your headcannons?
I'd really like the believe she never intended for Lambert or especially Dimitri to get hurt, because I want Dimitri to have a mother figure that loved him and not one that sent him into a meat grinder because she redefined playing favorites (which would be ironic given Edelgard never mentions her whereas she obviously had a huge impact on Dimitri). I'd also prefer a character a bit more complex than evil step-mother. We have enough of those, thanks.
It sounds like she's just an evil useless windbag according to Gilbert though.
What were Lambert's radical ways?
I see why Edelgard and Dimitri will never both exist in the same world. Dimitri's always appalled when people in charge involve soldiers and especially citizens in their personal quests for justice, but Edelgard thinks that justice is worth getting all those people killed for (and is actively doing just that).
I have to ask, though, how is Edelgard any different from the people who committed the Tragedy of Duscur? They both believe their cause was right and don't care how many others die in their quest to see their own vision through to the end.
I'm sure people would say "but Edelgard is fighting for a good cause, they didn't, they caused genocide too!"
Did they? Do we know what Lambert's causes were? Maybe he wanted to strengthen the church's influence or crests and Klienman and co were against that, which would make them the exact same as Edelgard. Also, I believe they're referring only to the attack on Lambert and co, not the persecution of Duscur people that came after. That was a product of war and chaos. Who's to say Edelgard's actions won't begin a massacre of anyone who worships Sothis? Or further violence she didn't directly begin? Impersliam and blaming the world's ills on a single religious group of people tend to cause chain-reaction violence.
That's ultimately why I think she's morally incorrect. She's blinded by her own vision and has no control over what might happen because of it or how others might see it. She sees her cause as just, but you can be sure the farmers who fields she robbed to feed her soldiers (no, not personally, but there's no way that didn't happen) could give less of a hoot about her grand vision seen from the height of her golden throne, unable to even see what anyone else thinks or believes.
Note though, part of what I like about her is how unbending she is. Just because I think someone is wrong doesn't mean I dislike them as a character.
Man, the writers are so mean to Dimitri. Edelgard gets to fra-la-la through a field with Byleth with little to no conflict or loss on her part and Claude gets to joke around with Hilda about dressing up as Edelgard to sneak in a fortress while Dimitri learns his mother sent him to a slaughter house because she loved her other child better. Yikes. That's also why it's the best route. Fight me.
Good for Dimitri moving on though, and not lingering on what Patricia might or might not have done. I noticed he left her out this time when listing people who died though lol.
Yes, Dimitri, talking to Edelgard is a fool's errand. That would require her to do things she's not very good at - listening, understanding someone else's POV, and compromise. Pretty sure you need to die for her to stop or else you're too big of a threat to her rule.
Still. So glad he's trying to use diplomacy to end this war rather than weapons. I think this is the first time in FE history a leader has tried meeting with the enemy and not just killing them (oh, wait, Erikia did that too with Lyon, didn't go well. Guess I have a type lol).
Is it weird to feel proud of a fictional character? Lol. Dimitri moving on past Patricia to focus on what he still has and value those he knows that love and support him is just 👌
OMG I love this route. I'm going to miss it so much once it's over.

Anger headcanons for don't starve characters pls. Also, would love general about the other don't starve characters.
I've sat on this ask for a bit and I've decided to make it into two parts: One for the main cast and the other for the DLC crew.
I'll do the general one at some point.
Anger Headcanons for DST Characters (Part 1: The Main Casts)
🧪Wilson🧪
This man gets frustrated easily but rarely does he ever get angry
He's probably one of the few who lets said frustration build up until he finally explodes
Most likely the type to scream when angry
🔧Winona🔧
Another one I'd think would be the type to bottle up their frustrations until they finally burst
Though she's least likely to let her anger slip when in public, especially when the kids are there to witness it
So she'd likely go somewhere a bit far away from camp and just let all her anger out
🔥Willow🔥
Angry? Looks like a case of major arson is on its way
If you think Willow is already fire happy normally, wait till you see her pissed with a lighter in her hands
She most likely burned down an entire pig village out of anger once
💀Wendy💀
Two words: Silent. Fury.
She's already quite the quiet person but when she gets pissed, somehow the silence turned louder as she glares in your soul or whatever it is that offended her
She also has a dark aura surrounding her when she gets angry, courtesy of Abigail
💪Wolfgang💪
I can see that Wolfgang would be the type to be incredibly patient with others so you gotta really work to make him angry
When he does, this man can get physically violent
He'd likely go to the forest and lets his anger loose on whatever poor creature that happens to cross his path
🎭Wigfrid🎭
Another one who's physically violent when angry
Though similar to Wolfgang, she also knows how to keep her temper in check due to her career as an actress
Still, also someone who would go unleash her anger on some poor animals in the woods
🎈Wes🎈
It's very difficult since Wes just brushes everything off and doesn't get bothered by much, I mean have you seen his life?
Though when he does get angry, he is surprisingly spiteful and will do anything in his power to get back at the object of offence, whether it's a person, creature or just a straight up object
⚡WX78⚡
Another one that bottles their emotions up until it bursts
When WX gets angry, I can see that he would be type that lets out electric sparks from whatever crevice he has on his bronze shell
🕸️Webber🕸️
He looks like the type to throw a full on temper tantrum when he gets angry
Webber is also another person who has a good grip on his own temper but once he lets loose, there's no stopping him until he calms down on his own
🍳Warly🍳
Everything he does becomes a lot more aggressive once he gets angry
Like you can hear him chopping veggies from a mile away or when he hacks into chunks of meat. You can always hear the 'thunk' loud and clear
🌲Walter🌲
This boi has the patience of a saint so you REALLY gotta work for it if you wanna see him angry and even then, you'd probably feel bad before it even happens
When he does, you best try to avoid him because he has a slingshot with you name on it
I feel like he'd also be petty as hell when angry
🐟Wurt🐠
Is very likely to start throwing hands when she gets angry and is very much violent
Honestly? I can see that her temper would be quite short especially when she's with the other survivors
🌱Wormwood🌱
I just can't see him getting angry, like at all
The closest I can see to anger for him is annoyance and boy oh boy is he annoyed a lot, especially when he sees the crop plots get trampled
📒Wickerbottom📒
"I'm Not Mad, Just Disappointed ™" kind of vibes
As a librarian, she's the type to get mad a lot but knows how to deal it professionally and very rarely does she show any raw anger
When she does:
Run.
🛑Wortox🛑
So y'all know Ghostbur and his blue? The way I see Wortox dealing with his anger is similar to that
But other than that, I can see Wortox having a fairly short temper and would be the type to throw a hissy fit but would also be a bit violent if pushed
🪓Woodie🪓
When he gets pissed, he would just go and use that anger to chop down a lot of trees until a tree guardian spawns in
Then, he proceeds to kill it, rinse and repeat until he's calm
🌑Maxwell🌑
Has a short temper and is very much the type to bottle it all up until he explodes
You know those bosses who has a habit of throwing stuff when they get pissed? Yeah that but with Maxwell

i can not thank you enough for making Keldrans dlc a poly option , I absolutely loved Ace and his ending but I was so sad about them not being together especially after Keldrans reaction to Aces bad ending .... im not exactly poly myself but love having that option in games, especially with partners who clearly care about each other as Keldran and Ace do! looking forward to learning even more about the world and characters you've created.
in regards to the support, how much time do we have to donate? i can't wait to support your effort, but don't get paid till the end of the month
Awww so glad to hear you loved them 🥰 I edited the post - donations close August 15th, so you’re good! Thanks so much for the interest 😊

Riiiight. So. Episode 2.
LEGACY OF THE FIRST BLADE - SHADOW HERITAGE
The strange thing is that I'm able to be not judgimental for the sake of being mean, as a revenge for my heart, brain and soul been crashed by this episode (but still, during the final cinematic I feel truly offended and sad), instead I feel calm and ready to discussion. Am I finally in the 6th stage of grief? 🙏✨
The second episode feels really empty. The lack of atmosphere is evident. Even the Tempest, which have to be introduced and defeated as the villain, is less impressive that she should: Podarkes, in Mykonos, who we never meet before killing him, has a better characterization. I think it happens because the story of this episode lacks the empathy with ALL the chatacters; it tries to create the empathy with the citiziens... BUT it does poorly. It's the kind of statement that goes with "there are people. You know, p e o p l e, human beings with their own lives. Don't you feel triggered by the danger that may ruin their life forever?". I don't know you, but personally my answer would be "well, I don't think I have more right to live instead of others but... Should I care just for the sake of saving a life?".
Odyssey is based on choices, moral choice is crucial: I need to feel the pressure as the result of the consequences of my actions.
But in this DLC we need to save lives because it's right, not because I want to.
Can you feel the difference?
Then, I must admit that I am relieved watching the NatakasxKassandra thing being so poorly written because I dislike it and I am also capable to tell you why... It's not a personal preference, it's very clear; we can all agree that Natakas is cute and altruistic but the question is right there under our nose: "why him?".
I feel something gone in the wrong direction, and please believe me that this has nothing to do with my sexual orientation. It's the way it all happens.
We find again Natakas after Makedonia without knowing how much time has passed, we interact within each other for literally a day, and not in a romantic way but for the sake of the mission, and then, before the showdown, we spent FRIENDLY a night together drinking wine, laughing and looking to the stars. But suddently BAM, for some reason we decide that it's the perfect moment to start a family with the two guys who are more friends or acquaitances than lover/father in law and we have a baby. A BABY.
WOAH, slow down!! I'm not... 😳 I'm not ready for this, how am I supposed to act?? I want to be a mercenary! AND IT WAS JUST A DATE, MALAKA!
You see? During Odyssey's missions we were used to romances but none of them was permanent (unfortunately 💔). I liked that, it was fun, easy going. So this choice caughs us all off guard.
[ Here, take some snacks and water 🌭🍟🍕🥤 we're not done yet 😅]
The simple things like the wine and the stars... It's lovely but realistically speaking it's not enough to deeply fall in love; I don't think it's the survivors logic neither, like "let's settle down together because now we can be happy and we don't know if and when we may be again, with someone else" because from the dialogues we listen to them talking to each other as they are truly in love, like... TRULY in love, not some kind of way of thinking "yes I'm happy with you but I'm also sad because I fear that this also will pass... I love you and I want to stay with you even if I m not completely happy with my choice". Or at least Natakas thinks something like that but Kassandra doesn't. Which doesn't make sense for two reasons 1. Her unresolved family traumas 2. She still sails and goes on with her mercenary life even after the events in Achaia. Wait...Your loved one tells you he's scared because he fears that this new family will break apart, like his family before, and WHAT DO YOU DO? "Nah, it's fine love. Here, now take baby Elpidios cause I have some errands to do in, uh... Megaris parhaps, see you later!".
"Megaris?? Kassandra we are in Achaia!"
"I'll send Ikaros to check"
Shortly, we have no truly control on the events but we are forced to go from an A to a B.
That feeling of watching a movie you don't want to watch while you are making it happen, you know?
That's the problem.
Two years ago, actually, I was in doubt It was my fault if I didn't enjoyed the second episode; I told myself It was just a wrong impression. Well, after all this time I can tell with clear mind that it's not about if you are straight or gay that makes the difference of how good is Shadow Heritage but the story itself is flawled, it's too... Too unreal, doesn't catch you and you can't enjoy what it's happening because you have the constant sense it's the least thing you want to watch to happen.
I enjoyed more the Darius-Natakas-Kass squad as partners in crime rather than a family and I think that happens also because you can FEEL how comfortable Kassandra is around them but because Meli's performance is flawless and engaging not because is a good story by itself that makes you truly care something about them or the boring missions.
Here, a light-hearted Kassandra to end this post: her inner piece is the mirror of mine after this quick review.
Thanks a lot if you read till the end 💕

Fav game character
Tina and her parents were sold to Hyperion to become test subjects for Jack's slag mutation experiments, an event which led to the deaths of her parents. She escaped their fate using a grenade that she had hidden in her dress at her mother's insistence, and once she was free of Hyperion's reach she vowed revenge on the man that had sold her family: Flesh-Stick.
Involvement
Borderlands 2
Tiny Tina's demolitions expertise is called into action when a Hyperion supply train believed to be carrying a Vault key needs to be stopped. With that objective in sight, she then sets the Vault Hunters to the task of finding two rockets (which she refers to as 'badonkadonks') to carry a 'suicide'-bomber toy each, and then to set them on target.
Her collaboration with the Vault Hunters continues when she has them gather items and guests for a very special tea party. During the final mission Tina will contact the Vault Hunters and wish them luck in stopping Hyperion and even reads them a poem repeatedly telling the Vault Hunters to 'kill Jack'.
Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage
Tina appears in a supporting role in Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage. Initially she is hired by Mad Moxxi to help the Vault Hunters train prior to battling Motor Momma, but also asks their assistance in obtaining the autograph of her third favorite mass-murderer, Sully the Stabber, as well as walking her "puppy", a Badass Fire Skag named Enrique. She also provides commentary on many of the Vault Hunters' actions throughout the course of the DLC.
Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep
Tina takes on the role of the 'Bunker Master' for the game 'Bunkers & Badasses', where she is shown to be bad at this, by fumbling in such ways as creating impossible fights early on and not balancing the gameplay in certain areas. The real problems underlying Tina's mental state (at that time) start becoming more apparent as the player progresses, being obsessed with eating only crumpets and constantly trying to insert a manifestation of the now deceased Roland whenever she wants to, to the dismay of the other Vault Hunters. Tiny Tina's character develops over the course of the campaign and she learns to accept Roland's death.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
Tina makes her first appearance during the game while Lilith was interrogating Athena, inviting the Vault Hunters to play another round of Bunkers and Badasses, but was turned down. Later, after Athena finishes telling her story, Tina introduces herself and requests Athena to tell a story about fighting a raid boss. As she had no idea what a raid boss was, she "came up" with a story about fighting one (in this case, the raid boss being an enhanced version of The Sentinel). After that, Tina requests Athena to tell the story of her working for Handsome Jack again.
Borderlands 3
At the time of Borderlands 3, Tina is presumed to be around 20 years old. She is still part of the Crimson Raiders B-Team along with Brick and Mordecai. The team is hired by Wainwright Jakobs to rescue his partner Sir Hammerlock, but after they fail to report back on their progress, Jakobs requests the Vault Hunter to go The Anvil to investigate setting up the story mission Hammerlocked. Tina's code name during the mission is 'Crunk Bunny'. Tina requests 'ingredients' for her 'Pizza' (bomb), composed of 'sauce' (nitroglycerin), 'onions' (wires) and 'ham' (a detonator). She then asks the Vault Hunter to deliver the pizza, which is to blow up the door to the structure where Hammerlock is being held. After successfully rescuing Hammerlock, she declares that the B-team's work is done and they leave Eden-6. Tina is found later on Devil's Razor back on Pandora, where she or Brick will give the mission Boom Boom Boomtown. She asks the Vault Hunter for help in winning back their new home and base of operations, recently named by Tina as "Boom Town", by fighting off COV that have been sneaking in thru a tunnel that Brick is keeping the COV locked inside.

Notes
The photo of Tina and Roland
She is introduced as an old friend of Roland's and she has a picture of them together in her room. Roland also mentions beforehand that, "I've saved her life a few times, and she has saved mine more times than I can count."
In Borderlands 2, there are a few unique weapons that are associated with Tiny Tina. These weapons include pink hearted camouflage and/or stuffed bunny image decals.
Teapot
Cobra
Boom Puppy
Tina's voice is performed by Ashly Burch, sister of Anthony Burch - lead writer of Borderlands 2. (The two are also a part of the web series Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin'?.) She is also credited with the voice of the cursed gun, Bane.
Tina has unusual gender-specific dialogue, referring to both male and female Vault Hunters as "girl". She also makes a number of sexual comments in an appreciative manner in regards the female members of her tea party, whilst during the Assault on Dragon Keep storyline she confesses to liking Maya in The Siren's invitation, asking if Maya likes her in turn. Additionally, her original motivation for helping the Vault Hunters train for Mad Moxxi was going to be due to her having a crush on Mad Moxxi.
Tina switches verbal mannerisms frequently. Her speech styles include a stereotypical inner-city American speech pattern, little girl speech patterns, stereotypically pretentious British English speech, to randomly violent and murderous speech, and others.
Trivia
There is an Easter egg related to Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin'? in the Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage. On the back of Tiny Tina's bus is a pixel drawing of Papa Burch riding a unicorn from the HAWP episode 'Sleep Is Death'.
Roland recognizes her as one of the greatest demolitions experts on Pandora and a picture of the two can be seen inside of her home.
Tiny Tina is mentioned by Brick on a mission in Sawtooth Cauldron as he recalls carrying her on his shoulders as they fought together. In the end credits, it is shown that they worked together again in this manner cleaning out the remaining Hyperion forces.
ExotropiaTina has an intermittent exotropia (lazy eye) in her left eye. This was originally due to a glitch, but the developers enjoyed it, so they purposefully left it in. This has also passed on to Borderlands 3, as her left eye will occasionally twitch while talking.
In NowGamer, an interview revealed that there is part of a mission removed from the main game involving Tina. Originally, when telling of Roland's death, the players were to head out to Tiny Tina's home and tell her the sad news. It described her being deeply affected by it, thanking the players for telling her, asking them to leave, and locking herself in her workshop to mourn. Anthony Burch, lead writer and the source of this news, says they regret they could not include this scene into the game. It was supposed to be the only moment in the game she loses her peppy mania [1].
Her tea party place card is labeled "Lady Tina of Blowupyourfaceheim"
On May 24, 2013, Tina took over the @ECHOcasts Twitter (previously owned by Krieg).
Tiny Tina's parents have officially been confirmed dead as of the sixth episode of Inside the Box, entitled "Fart Jokes and Tragedy".
In the Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary DLC, Tiny Tina, Mordecai and Brick form a team simply named "The B-Team".
Tiny Tina refers to Brick as "Brick-papa" and Mordecai as "Mordy-mom". This is further mentioned when Brick says "Don't talk like that to your mom." to Tina.
It is revealed in Sheega's All That that Sheega is an ex-girlfriend of Tiny Tina.
ECHO logs in Devil's Razor reveal that Tiny Tina has dated multiple individuals, broke up with all of them, and staged a wedding to make money from the wedding gifts sent by her exes.

I am a huge fan of ALL your writing but "Backlogged Messages" is one of my absolute favorites. It's my go-to when I need high-quality, tear-jerking angst (and you know how much I love angst). I also really love "Inter-species Cooperation" and can't wait to read it after actually playing Javik's DLC...
Man, I’m really glad you like Backlogged Messages! It’s an angsty one, in an angsty series. Well, I have a proper sequel for it in the works (but first I need to catch up on the Shepard-Didn’t-Die counterpart to it) so stayed tuned. But meanwhile, I guess consider this a little add-on?
++
“Commander. My name isTanya Beltram, my wife was at Arcturus when the Reapers destroyed the station. We used to joke about you, about how the pressure of being the first humanSpectre must have gotten to your head: how else could someone make up such aridiculous story about ‘Reapers?’
I’ve already beggedgod for forgiveness for not believing you. Now I have your forgiveness to ask. Thelast thing I said to my wife was ‘I’m not going to fight with you anymore, Amy.You can cool it and call me when you’re ready to be reasonable.’ I don’tremember what we were fighting about. I didn’t remember she was aboard Arcturusuntil three hours after I heard about the Reapers destroying it.
I thought Amy and Iwould be together forever. I thought the Reapers were a myth. I was wrong abouta lot of things, I don’t think I’m wrong about you this time, Commander.
Forgive me. Pleasesave us.”
What would Kaidan say, if he met Tanya Beltram today? If shewere still alive, if he met her on the train on his way downtown, what would hesay?
Nothing. Probably nothing.
He had read her message, the one meant only for Shepard’seyes. One of thousands of messages Diana Allers had received aboard theNormandy in the Battlespace mailbag during the war. They were all Kaidan’s now…except they weren’t. They would always be Shepard’s letters. They sat on hisomni-tool like a specter waiting in a cupboard.
Each time he read one, it felt… ‘voyeuristic’ wasn’t quitethe right word. Reading Tanya’s letter had been like calling up the thinnestwisps of two departed spirits, and what could you say to a woman afterperforming a séance to reach her dead wife?
He couldn’t read the letters every day, the way certainmusic can only be paired with the right weather, or the way gin only tastedright in a certain bar. Some evenings he would just feel the weight of themwatching him through his console across his apartment while he mended a shirtor hemmed a pair of trousers. Some mornings he woke up knowing—not today, butsoon—he would be able to read another batch. The way you feel an anniversarycoming.
Someday, would he forget? The way anniversaries begin tosneak up on you over the years?
Dear Miss Allers,
Please watch yourselfaround Commander Shepard. I dare not risk exposing myself, but I am deeplyconcerned for your safety aboard the Normandy. It has come to my attention thatCommander Shepard is a scoundrel and a womanizer and is not above riskingcivilians to achieve his dark purposes.
-A Concerned Watcher
So many opinions, so many memories of John. So manyShepards. Kaidan wondered sometimes how long he could keep this feeling ofShepard alive: this mix of missing and loving and the noble ache that came fromagreeing not to mourn any longer. How long till reading these letters made himfeel like the voyeur of his own waning grief?
Diana Allers would youplease pass this note on to Commander Shephard?
Commander. I saluteyou! You’re out there showing that humanity is the best this galaxy has tooffer. Let’s bring those aliens in line and kick ass!
Kaidan would watch the sky grow dark from his balcony, hewould watch more and more lights turn on and stay on as the city recovered fromthe war. Night after night he would stand there with Shepard’s hoodie on, withthe ghost of all these thousands of letters haunting his apartment. He wouldchange, and they would stay the same. Kaidan would grow old and there wouldstill be a hundred thousand opinions on the man Shepard had been.
When he had held Shepard in his arms, when they had watchedthe stars together from Shepard’s bed, Kaidan had said “I will always love you.”
Shepard had said: “I know.”
It was an invitation. Kaidan had come into Shepard’s lifeand made a life of his own. There was no peeking through the keyhole, anymore.Shepard was in the rains and the darkness and the days drenched in sun. Shepardwas a truth in Kaidan’s heart that would feel like an ache where his stomachshould be, somedays, and Shepard was the truth in Kaidan’s heart that let himlaugh when he spilled a pot of coffee on the sleeve of that hoodie.
Commander Shepard,
If you have time whenthe war is over will you please visit my dad in the hospital? He is very sickand can’t fight. I am to young to fight. Thank you for fighting for us. My dad admyresyou very much. Please be careful. I don’t want to lose anyone else.
Come visit my dad and I will give you a hug to say thank youTrixie Randall
Breathe in, breathe out. Every day he would learn more aboutShepard, every day he would love him more.
#mshenko#bardofheartdive#i'm almost done with these bard!#kaidan alenko#angst#John Shepard#post war#sorry that all my writings lately#have been aimless tone poems#really sorry

Did you notice btw in the Abigail reveal trailer, Ed was dressed in orange? I can't help but wonder if Capcom's mad that more people are hyped for that new DBZ game than they are for Function vs DLC Infinite.
Holy shit, I didn’t even realize that. Couple that in with Ed being blonde for representing Super Saiyan, yeah. Not to mention most of the time these new character trailers show the new character fighting more than one character (like the Geese reveal), yet I think the only character Abigail fought was Ed.
Capcom, being salty isn’t going to save you. And tbh, even Broly has a more diverse moveset in any Dragon Ball fighter than Abigail here.Just wait till Broly gets shown for Fighter Z, (he’s pretty much a shoe-in with his popularity) and has much more than PUNCHY-PUNCH-PUNCH-SPAM for his moveset.
