»GET://NOISE« WORKING WITH RI47 HEAVY INDUSTRIES FOR PROFIT AND UNPROFIT
Tumblr media
so, I do feel like I should clarify my actual policy on using my tracks in projects. I do this every now and again, but to be fair, circumstances change pretty often
these aren't blanket licences or anything because honestly a few of these are like... complicated enough that it's literally easier to just talk to someone after the conditions are met and give them permission in writing. in nearly every single case, the first step is "contact me directly and we'll make things work"
if you're working on a project to raise money for Palestinian aid, I am especially interested in working with you. of course, I will be checking to make sure the money is actually going to help the people it's supposed to, as I'm unfortunately aware of how many people are trying to take advantage of these tragedies for their own benefit
a case-by-case reference with slightly more detail is included below
-
if you want to download Ri47 music to listen to but can't afford it... legally, I care that you pirate my music. personally, never tell me about it. I don't want to see that, I'm not signed to a label that seeks out uses of my music, and I understand that the international economy is in shambles. ideologically, I am pro-piracy. don't do anything that will legally force me to care (using my work in a commercial project without permission, for example) and we'll both keep on living our lives as we were
if you want to remix a Ri47 track and need stems… I don't have the stems either. I'm bad at recordkeeping, tune my samples by ear, and primarily do my own last pass of mixing in audacity. I might have some stems kicking around, but the odds are that I'm as empty-handed as you are. sorry about that lol
if you want to use a Ri47 song in your freeware (read: not for sale) project... that's probably fine. contact me first, not because I'm going to spring a fee on you, but because a few of my songs are already licensed out to projects that make it a little more challenging to hand them out. this is mostly applicable if you're making rpgmaker games you don't intend on selling
if you want to use a Ri47 song in your small-scale commercial project... if you're making a promo video for a stream, need music for a podcast, or anything like that, contact me first. in almost every case, as long as what you're making isn't a persistent standalone work (read: something you are selling directly, with my music as part of the package) the most I'll usually ask is that you buy one copy of the album
if you want to use a Ri47 song in a more serious commercial project... you can contact me directly to get a licence. I usually don't work on royalties unless you are selling a product that I'd consider "reselling" my work (read: an OST album or other primarily audio-based product) and I'm happy to work with people to find a deal that works for them
if you want to use a Ri47 song in a project that is intended to raise funds for a not-for-profit charity, especially in providing aid to Palestine… the freeware conditions apply. let me know about your plans beforehand, because I almost certainly want to be more directly involved, but there are very few cases where I would say no to this sort of thing
if you need original music or sound design done by Ri47... I'm booked out about a year or so in advance, so I can't promise I can actually join a team actively, but this is extremely contextual. if you need some UI sounds or a handful of piano pieces to feature in a project, I'm much more likely to find time for that
if you want me to feature on an album or compilation, whether that be contributing a song or remixing one that you provide… contact me and let's talk. this one's the most complicated conditions-wise, but I don't bite
the bottom line being... I work within all budgets and project scopes. even if you think the answer is no, drop me a line and you might be surprised. if you're unsure, I'll happily help you figure out what exactly you need. it's easier than taxes!

hiii! i come to you as an absent mutual to get your top of 2024 media! movies, shows, books, you name it! biggest flops/what surprised you? need to know it all! also just saw your top 9 movies of the year (the substance, of course) if you want to expand on those or what didn't make the top 9?
yay!! i sooo look forward to doing this recap every year so thanks for the ask <3 I hope 2024 was a good year for you and that 2025 is even better!
as usual this will probably be so wordy lol:
movies
i actually didn't watch many movies this year but the few i did, i really enjoyed!
the substance: i love body horror and i was delighted that the substance was so unapologetically gross and visceral. i think the concept is really great, the look of the movie really works for me, and the acting is fantastic! it's the kind of movie you can tell was really fun to make. it does drag a little bit in the third act for me but when it totally goes off the rail at the end, i can't be mad at it.
anora: i didn't realize this was a sean baker movie when i first saw the trailer so i genuinely thought this was going to be a very different movie. i was expecting a drama or thriller and was completely blown away by how funny and human it was. really incredible screwball comedy that had me and the whole audience really, really laughing. and like i said, it just ended up being really beautifully human. i think it's pretty perfect all the way through.
challengers: exhilarating!!! the soundtrack is so fantastic. the pacing and energy of it really sucks you in. i think tashi is such a great and fascinating character. i love all the little ways all three of the characters are kind of messed up. and i won't lie, i'd love to find myself in a challengers type situation lmao.
twisters: kind of an honorable mention. i didn't really have any expectations going in. i saw it in 4dx and genuinely had the time of my life. the kind of movie that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside and excited to go to the movies. this is what a blockbuster should be in my opinion!
music
i really made an effort to listen to a lot of music this year!
brat (charli xcx): i mean duh! i actually really love the remix album too, maybe even a little more than the original. just utterly fun and in some ways really vulnerable. there are so many great tracks, it's hard to pick a favorite but the remix of i think about it all the time with bon iver is a big highlight for me. and i got to see her live! she's got such insane stage presence.
romance (fontaines d.c.): sooo good. just a really solid and well-rounded album. excellent lyrics, excellent music, excellent performance. starburster was my most listened-to song of the year and i'm still not sick of it. they're the kind of band that makes me excited to hear what they'll do next.
tangk (idles): an idles album is an idles album. you kind of always know what you're gonna get with them and i personally love it. great post-punk album. really fun to listen to!!
alligator bites never heal (doechii): what's not to love about doechii? this album is so full of energy and fun. her tiny desk performance is insane. she's so talented and i love that she's a fellow floridian.
the new sound (geordie greep): i got around to this album pretty much in the last couple weeks of the year but i really, really love it. it's kind of insane and weird but in a really fantastic way. i love that geordie does really interesting storytelling through his lyrics--he presents these weird off-putting characters in ways that somehow manage to endear you to them. and the music is so so so good. i love the latin jazz influence on this record.
shows
i feel like there weren't many shows i was excited to check out this year. i'm desperately waiting for the new season of severance!
six feet under: it's not a perfect show but it's a really great one. interesting and complicated characters. sometimes really funny, sometimes really sad. some bits have aged a bit poorly but it's always interesting to see these early hbo shows that laid the groundwork for the kind of tv we associate with hbo now. in some ways i can see how it paved the way for something like succession.
halt and catch fire: omg i feel like this show is so underrated! all of the characters are great and complex. it's a really great period piece that i think anyone who loved mad men would enjoy. the acting and set design are really great. it has a great score. it made me cry!!!
taskmaster: not much to say here lol. sometimes you just want to watch people do pointless tasks in the silliest way possible.
video games
mouthwashing: again, i love body horror. i played a game by this studio forever ago called "how fish is made" and despite not knowing that the two were related, instantly could tell the vibes were related. disturbing, creepy, strong storytelling. the fandom is kind of stinky though, i hate the way people woobify the horrible men in it.
balatro: a fun, addicting rogue-like card game. i haven't been able to stop playing! i want to beat it so bad.
kingdom hearts: replaying the series with my brother. it's so nostalgic and kind of ridiculous and stupid but i love it so so much.
flops
here's a random assortment of things that flopped!!!!
longlegs: i was really looking forward to his. i was so so excited. it didn't work for me 😔 i found it totally anticlimactic and rushed
my fellowship: as some will remember, last year i was very very excited about this. but it flopped! i have a lot of angry and sad feelings. i drained myself physically, emotionally, mentally and they didn't even offer me a job!!! so i probably dodged a bullet.
dragon age veilguard: admittedly, i am not a massive dragon age fan. i sometimes have a hard time with open world games which was my problem with inquisition. but the writing in veilguard is so... bad. i've tried giving it so many shots but it never fails to make me cringe!!! honestly just made me want to play baldur's gate.
if you made it this far, thank uuu 💖

rare music rec for zelda nerds
since i completely completed EVERY. POSSIBLE. THING. to do in botw, i’ve been spending my evenings re-downloading the soundtrack to almost every single zelda game i’ve ever played. i used to have these via hard work and waiting 6000 years on ultra-rare limewire torrents on a dial-up connection, and tbh i thought i’d never see them again after i lost 90% of my music library a few years ago, but now most of them, even the rare albums, are on khinsider.
before there was a such thing as mp3 players*, my brother and i had a psp, sony’s attempt at matching the mobile gaming nintendo is so famous for, and it stored data on an SD card. our psp’s SD card, after you took away the space needed to store game data, had enough room for 12 mp3s exactly. i took that thing everywhere - school, the car - 12 seems like a ridiculously low number now, but back then it was INCREDIBLE that i could change the mp3s on it with just a few minutes in front of my computer, instead of having to carefully arrange a playlist and burn a CD (which took forever, and would fail if i accidentally bumped into the computer - i’d have to scrap it and start all over), AND i could listen to music wherever i wanted without having to carry a giant portable CD player, which would skip if i jostled it too much.
anyway, while i was downloading zelda music, i came across this album - an official re-arrangement of some ocarina of time songs. the title theme, the battle theme, lost woods, lon lon ranch (with lyrics!), the shop theme, zelda’s lullaby, the miniboss theme, the temple of time, kotake & koume's theme, hyrule field, the fairy fountain, and the last battle. that’s 12 tracks.
i didn’t even realize what it was until i played the first track - about .5 seconds in i recognized it and it was like getting with with a sledgehammer to my face. our psp had room for exactly 12 songs. this album is 12 tracks long. and out of every possible piece of music in the world i could have chosen to take with me, i picked this album. i listened to it when i was hiding from other kids and teachers in the bathroom. i listened to it while i ate lunch alone outside. i listened to it during art club. i listened to it during long car rides. when i went on vacation with my uncle’s family and wouldn’t have access to a computer or any privacy for an entire week, i hid behind this album. and i forgot it even existed until last night! what an amazing, wonderful find. it’s easy to forget that there WERE times i was happy as a teenager, but i absolutely cherish the nostalgia this brings me.
anyway, if you like zelda, you should also give it a listen. here it is on youtube:
youtube
my favorite tracks are the title, koume & kotake’s theme, and of course the last battle.
*i know mp3 players existed in the mid 00s but they weren’t widely available and i sure as hell couldn’t put my pirated video game music on most of them lol

heyy it's charli anon :) i'm sorry i've been gone for so long life has just been so wild. i've been meaning to send smtn but honestly i haven't had time for music, but i miss our little talks so here i am <3
that boy's a liar pt 2 is so catchy, my first pinkpantheress song, i hope i'm making you proud. i rly like the instrumental of welcome to my island remix, but honestly i haven't had the proper time to really listen to it, next month maybe
the last of us has been so good i have so many thoughts i love it sm, i watch it with my mum and keep saying that was/wasn't in the game every 5 min it's great
i'm made a simblr and it's been really fun, but i think i'll stick with anon with you, i like the mystery of it all lol. your legacy has been so cute though, i sent the ask saying i can feel your fun through the posts bc it's so true!
oh and i'm thinking of getting one of those pretty glass candle warming lamps, if i can find one that ships to my country. idk if you're a candle type of person but this is very exciting for me
ok ok enough about me tell me everything, all the things you've liked and disliked recently, all the details. hope you have a wonderful day and i can't wait to hear from you <33
Tumblr media
literally how i feel getting this ask! HIIIIIIIII i've missed our talks too so glad this is continuing in 2023 let me go under the cut so i can really get into it!
i can't believe boy's a liar pt 2 is your first pinkpantheress song.... i guess the only way is up from here. (not to say i dislike it i think it's cute but pinkpantheress has such a singular sound that i don't think always works with her collaborators!) i listened to charli's welcome to my island remix, too! i think it's very cute i love when she raps. fine.
i'm not watching tlou! not for any reason other than i'm not a zombie person. also i'm in my succession season 4 gear up right now like idk it's been a real struggle for shows to grab me i'm on charmed s4 right now but it's still a bit of an effort to watch.
omg thank you! welcome to simblr i hope your stay isn't traumatic. i didn't expect to be posting sims with any regularity at all, honestly, but i still prefer being hands off with the community at large and mostly engaging with my mutuals my tumblr time isn't what it once was.
i love candles! love a scent! you absolutely should!
i've been in such a limbo i feel but it's just because i had such a busy january i was doing something every weekend of the month which was incredible for seeing my friends and feeling like a person part of something, terrible for how tired i was! i'm actually going paintballing this weekend, which i'm really excited about
rebecca black's debut album literally just dropped, and i can't wait for kelela's album tomorrow i'm sooooo ready for it

Hi Red!!
I was going to say good evening, but I realized, I wasn’t sure what time zone you’re in 😅 but adjusting to a new job! How exciting! I can totally relate as I’ve been adjusting to a new role/position at work and helping out the ones taking over my former position. So, I totally understand how RL can be!
Awwww Tao was my original bias from EXO-M 🥺 but I haven’t followed much since he left 😓 But I have to agree with everything for Jongin, Soo, and Sehun. And yes, Sehun is like such the maknae/baby of the group that it makes me all soft for him. But I think of that for all of the members haha
2014! That was such an emotional year with everything that happened. I still remember when my best friend messaged me about Luhan and I was all 😭 but he seems happier now, so that’s all I can hope for them.
Were you ever able to see them live? I was fortunate to see them a few times but I’m definitely waiting for all members to be out of military so *trying to save but so hard in these times*
I’m going to ask random questions to figure out what to gift you! What’s your favorite exo song? Or better yet, what’s your favorite performance? Do you have a favorite color?
I think for now that’s all, so that way I have more questions later haha
Have a great day/afternoon/evening!
Your EXO-L 🤶🏼
Hey again Santa anon~! 😄
Hehe so rn it's still the day time as I'm answering this~ And congrats on your new role at work!
And so no unfortunately I've never seen them live 😔 but I've always imagined them like randomly visiting my area for a vacay lmao and I'd spot them and stay chill as I ask them for an autograph while inside I'd be losing my shit lol.
Anyways how was it seeing them in person? And how many of them were there at the time? Do pictures really not do them justice like I've heard some ppl say? I'd love to know hehe.
((And yes, I can't wait 'til all the members are done with their military service! Sometimes I'll be listening to a song, or watching a drama they're in (like I recently watched Memories of the Alhambra) and I just start missing the heck outta them >_<.))
And so on to your questions: So my favorite EXO song? Lmao I have so many favs tho 😅...Hm if I have to narrow it down to a few tho lol then it's between Lucky One, Tempo, Power, Non-stop, Paradise, Obsession, and Exodus.
And hm my favorite performance? (I'm guessing group-wise, right?)...Oh gosh lol. I really gotta narrow it down again...Okay so one is 170603 when EXO performed Monster at the Love Dream concert (those royal outfits bruh <3), another is the 171115 The Eve performance at the Asia Artist Awards (again love the outfits hehe), the 170720 The Eve comeback stage, the time they performed Power at the Mama awards (the remixes, the hype!!), the 160609 Lucky One comeback stage ^^, any Touch It performance, and the 190119 Love Shot performance in Chile!
And if ya meant solo performance (sorry then lol) it'd be any For Life solo stage that Kyungsoo's done + any Tell Me What Is Love performance. For Jongin, the 191229 Spoiler stage + the 201202 Mmmh stage. And for Sehun, that 171124 stage where he danced shirtless lol + any Baby Don't Cry performance (same with Jongin).
And lastly, my fav color is blue xD. Thank ya for the q's, and hope ya have a great day as well!

Hello there!
I'm Light Bearer and this blog will be specifically dedicated to guidance in any problems you might have, be it physical, mental or even spiritual.
My ask box and dms are always open so if any of you want to vent, ask for advice or suggest a topic I should cover, just hit me up! (preferably through asks)
I thought that you might want to get to know me first, so here you go!
Quick info about me:
First of all, if you want to know something about me, just ask. I can't guarantee that I will answer every question, some of them are too personal. For now call me Light Bearer, LB or just Luci. Also I'm a guy, and consider me ageless :D
I am very interested in natural, herbal medicine and research it a lot, but in no sense am I telling you to use it instead of professional care. Use it while also going to the doctor. I am NOT a professional, so take everything with a grain of salt, cuz no method works for everybody.
I myself suffer from a couple of mental illnesses, again, wanna know more? Just ask. I do have a lot of experience with helping people with their mental health issues, I had a lot of friends who always came to me for advice, but I also helped myself a lot.
My hobbies include:
Writing! Oh, yes, writing. Be it poems, books, short stories or even creepypastas. I just love writing and reading.
Music! I listen to music almost 24/7 and I have plans of creating my own or remixes. I even was singing and a part of a couple of choirs, I don't do it now cuz of a one unfortunate event that happened. Maybe I'll get into details in the future.
I'm all about helping people! It's my passion for quite some time now, I first got into very frequently helping people about 6 or 7 years ago, when I was in a mental hospital for the first time. It stuck with me, I love seeing people smile and be happy. It's my soft spot to be honest.
Medicine and biology! As I said I research a lot of it, not only natural, herbal medicine. As for biology, I love knowing how our bodies work, without that knowledge I couldn't be able to help anyone or even myself for that matter. Besides, it's truly fascinating to learn about!
Science, math and chemistry! I may not be that good at math but that will never stop me from loving it and calculating random things. Science, math and chemistry are all intriguing and complicated, which are some qualities that I love.
Astrology, astronomy, ufology - anything to do with space! That's my favorite thing in the whole world. I'm also really interested in alien races, I'm studying about them for almost 10 years now. I was a kid when I first started learning about this stuff. Stuck with me I guess.
Languages! Right now I have about 5 languages I want to learn. I know their alphabets and some basic words, nothing more lol. And one of the languages is Aramaic, which is pretty old. I'm also studying hieroglyphics.
History! I'm a history freak to be honest. I won some competitions a couple of times, which explains why I have so many history books, hehe ^^
Psychology! Same as with biology, I love to know how our entire bodies work, brains included. It's all so interesting! From body language (even animal ones) to manipulation. But don't manipulate! Do that only for good purposes! Nobody likes an asshole!
Witchcraft! All about it ^^ I'm studying in an online academy and practicing. Also I have many, many crystals, rocks, candles and cards! Also books on that matter lol.
So yeah, that's it for now. If you have more questions, feel free to ask! :D
Can't wait to meet y'all :]
Introduction!
