every time cillian talks about irish culture i always say “this is so latino what the hell” bc it IS. i think the irish and mexicans could really band together and do beautiful things

#misc.#he was talking abt doing gigs in pubs where you fall asleep under the table until it’s time to be rounded up to go home #and like girl you would loveee a mexican party #i have said this in jest before but i do think this should be studied !#there’s a lot of mexican irish babies in the united states i’m finding #and i think it’s largely to do with this sense of familiarity with one another’s cultures #i can’t speak much about irish catholicism but from what ive seen i think it does match mexican catholicism in ways
