(cue me, answering this w/3 ficlets bc I am nothing if not a chaotic, eager-to-please & indecisive bisexual who fuckin' loves Pogue/Caleb. TW: descriptions of blood-covered stuff/gore, ridiculous angst.)

Guardian angels were not, as humans believed, assigned to guard specific people. No: instead, they were sent at specific times to nudge those considering sin back onto the righteous path, or to give those feeling alone the strength to continue (which was often defined as hope). They were supposed to follow their charges around, invisible and only using their empathetic abilities (direct communication was not allowed) to complete their mission. Once the mission was complete, the angel was to return to Heaven.

Caleb had been so happy to help the young woman whose parents had recently separated. She had a kind heart, and she was brilliant for her age. She deserved better than constant melancholy. After following her around for about a month, quietly encouraging her to pursue her relationship with another young woman, her mood had improved. It probably helped that her father had been inspired to write a new book, but Caleb wasn't questioning a good thing.

And then Pogue called to him. Caleb arrived just as the man let her drop to the ground, lifeless.

He remembered feeling cold. His eyes burned. Then the next thing he knew, the man had been torn asunder, and Caleb was entirely covered in blood and gore. The faint glow that came from his skin could hardly be seen. He was trembling, hovering just above the cobblestones. There was a gap in his memory, and then he was flying back to Heaven, clean and guilty.

It was almost a decade before he and Pogue met again, but years were nothing to immortals. They lay in cool grass, staring at the stars. Pogue had told him that Jack the Ripper was the name given to a murderer in England, one who had never been and would never be caught. Caleb's initial reaction had been to accuse the fallen of using the girl as bait, knowing that two would die if Pogue called Caleb.

"You know I can't predict those sorts of things."

Pogue had been cast down for questioning their Creator several times. Since then, he had bathed in the blood of many who he believed deserved it, and Caleb had been there almost every time--not that he would remember.

They all knew about the prophecy that the Oracle had delivered days before they went to war. Caleb had been the one who received it, and he had repeated it at the cabin meeting, where the heads of each met with Chiron. It was their whole friend group, plus a few other demigods. Everyone was uneasy. No one could understand what any prophecy meant in its entirety--until after the events it detailed had passed. But it was hard to find anything positive in the line that said "the son of the sky would fall", especially since Ouranos was their main opponent. Ouranos, who the ancients had called the literal sky.

They won the war, with some losses, but it wasn't a pyrrhic victory.

The Greek and Roman demigods and their allies had been spread thin. Ouranos had seized the souls of all who were posthumously placed in the stars, and bullied some of the sky immortals into fighting for him. He was even siphoning Apollo and Artemis's godly essences for power. In fact, that was his greatest weakness. Once the twins were freed, Ouranos had trouble controlling his army.

It took the might of his scythe, which some of Pluto's minions had found in the Mediterranean, to break the bonds holding Apollo and Artemis. Apparently, the weapon could hide its wielder from all magical and regular sight. Caleb volunteered to use it, since he could fly to Ouranos's base without need for a vehicle. He didn't count on Pogue knocking him out and stealing the scythe for him, but he did wake in time to catch his boyfriend when the blast of energy shot him out of the sky.

"You fucking idiot. You knew." Caleb sat by Pogue's bedside, frowning. To put things plainly, if Apollo hadn't been there to heal his son, Pogue would've died from either a heart attack or the trauma from the burns he suffered. Instead, he was put on bed rest, because he was still weak. That didn't stop him from smiling for Caleb's sake.

"You know I can't predict those sorts of things," he replied, working hard to feed himself French fries from the tray their girlfriend had brought. Pogue was the only demigod at camp who had received Apollo's gift of foresight. Those who were set to go on quests typically had a few dreams showing glimpses of current events, and similarly, he had short visions of the future when he slept.

Once he recovered, his friends were going to give him all kinds of hell for almost dying to save the world. He didn't need to be a fortune teller to know that.

"Funny to see you here, Parry." Caleb set his jaw as the vampire chuckled, turning around with his hands up in a gesture of peace. Caleb Danvers was part of an elite group of monster hunters who worked in secret to keep humans safe from what could otherwise easily kill them. And for the last month, he'd found plenty of dead ends despite the leads that random townspeople kept giving him. "Did you really need to hypnotize all of them?!"

The vampire gave what might've read as an innocent smile if the hunter was stupid. But he wasn't.

"C'mon, Cay, you know it's hard to forget me."

Cay. Like they were both still alive, stealing glances when they weren't training or running amok with their friends. Before that girl they'd sworn to keep secret screwed Pogue over, killed him. He had reanimated right there in his house, as his parents dressed him for his funeral. He said they tried to kill him the moment he sat up. Not surprising. They hadn't been very forgiving when he was alive, either. So he killed them, avoided his sire, and disappeared. But he always found Caleb, every few months. Their encounters ended the same way every time.

The hunter never went for his weapons. He just rushed forward, augmented speed landing him right in front of his target. He threw a few punches, and only one connected, grazing the vampire's cheek. Pogue just chuckled.

"Don't waste my time."

"Fine." He shoved Caleb against the alley's wall, careful not to let the other man's head hit the surface, and attacked his lover's neck. Caleb groaned--every lick, every nibble, every kiss made his skin burn. But he couldn't, wasn't, just going to lie there. His fingers sifted through Pogue's hair, nerves lighting up as they brushed against silk, and then he tugged. Pogue made a sound deep in his throat before he looked up--and that was when Caleb crashed his lips into his, gasping and biting hard enough to draw ichor. Both men clawed at each other's clothing mindlessly, until their tightening pants told them to pay attention and fucking fuck.

Before Pogue had fangs, he would have gladly sunk to his knees and serviced Caleb, doing everything he could to please him and cum along the way. That was then.

Caleb took both of them in hand, hissing as he stroked them both and Pogue rutted hard enough to vibrate. It was maybe thirty seconds of panting into each other's mouths before they came. They sank down, huddled together with tired smiles.

My family watches Wheel of Fortune some - most? - nights when dinner coincides with it. I grew up with many fond memories of spending the night with one of my grandmothers, and after a day of her explaining her incomprehensible Stories as we watched I don't know how many soap operas, we'd watch Wheel together and I'd be awed by her skills.

Nowadays it's me and my folks loudly commenting - we're truly terrible backseat drivers with VERY strong opinions about strategy that might well not hold up under actual competitive conditions, and we're aware of that, but it sure doesn't stop us yelling in derision every time someone picks the "Thing" category.

Last season was the host's last - Pat Sejak's retired, which given some health scares, is totally understandable. Tonight was Ryan Seacrest's first on the job, and...

well...

We were all underwhelmed. I loathe the new set - not that it's the first time that's happened - and some of the new style of camera angles are disconcerting and not what I'd prefer, though that might all just be Not Liking Change. The part that stood out to all of us, however, was Seacrest just did not vibe well. He seemed uncomfortable, a little too handsy not in a "LAWSUIT!" kinda way just a "dude back off please personal space!" kinda way, a bit too try hard and self-conscious of the failures. Watching him snap into a WILDLY more comfortable persona in the last 5 seconds when he went from "ZOMG I am hosting WHEEL o_o" to "Ah, promo-ing a thing for the network, I can do this in my sleep!" was astonishing.

I keep reminding myself it's his first night. I keep reminding myself that he's now responsible for Wheel and its 45+ seasons of history. I keep reminding myself he's trying to step into the shoes but not replace the former weatherman we've all had in our living rooms for freakin' DECADES, and that's a HELL of a steep learning curve.

I also keep thinking about Sam Reich putting his friends through increasingly complicated and deranged Shenanigans for our amusement WITHOUT a shred of that awkwardness, and all I can think is "skill issue."

So now that the stories basically over I’m starting to think horikoshi never wanted to actually make any commentary or do anything with the societal issues and he only had them there out of obligation. We know horikoshi is a huge fan of American media especially comics. A lot of what he brought up, discrimination and mutant racism villains who are also victims and you can see where they’re coming from like magneto domestic issues with neglectful and abusive fathers and lingering trauma following a legacy, all of it is in comics that have been trying to make commentary on society and bring up actual societal issues. Maybe horikoshi really was just making a story with what he thought was cool in the moment, and he included all that stuff just because it’s been in media he’s consumed before and he was writing what he knows. Maybe since the start all the theorycrafting people has been for nothing and Horikoshis end goal was always no matter how bad stuff is as long as individuals can be good everything will work out just fine and everything will get better. I dunno just rambling here since the manga is ending so soon.

Honestly, I could see a bit of these arguments. This whole epilogue had made Horikoshi, an author I really respected the writing of not too long ago, come off as a bit of a hack.

I don't think it's quite as simple as him just throwing in whatever he thought was cool or what comic books make look interesting; I personally suspect it may have started out more as "what motivates these villains that they'd fight so hard for," but I do think he put a lot of thought into these set-ups and circumstances hat led the villains to think destroying society was the right & reasonable way to go about things. One thing he was really good at was finding logical conclusions to a society of super powers; stuff like quirk marriages, prejudice against people who's powers make them ugly, or dangerous, or suck, and especially the consequences of "Super Hero" being a professional industry.

His problem was just that he had no idea how to solve these things at all, least of all by teenagers (teenagers who're minor celebrities by the end, but also sidekicks at best). So the villains, who he set to to get saved to make the kids seem more heroic, die anyway because that's all the kids could do for them. And then everything that needed fixing just solves itself because of ~good vibes~ and 'zomg Deku's so inspirational' that suddenly no one is awful anymore (again, read in this tone). And for some reason it never occurs to Hori that he could've had his villains live and go free through means as contrived as heroes getting free time because of those ~good vibes~.

In short, Horikoshi could write this stuff once upon a time; but his main problem looks to me that he simply couldn't write satisfying resolutions to the society-scale issues he set up and stick the landing to save his life.

inZOI demo - It's awesome!

This demo blows TS4's CAS Demo clear out the water, it's not even close (my rants: X X).

Overall, I'd give inZOI a 9/10 for girls, 8.5/10 for guys (cuz they get way less options, as usual).

What immediately struck me's that the UI is finnicky AF. The screen text on the UI' s so dang faint that I was squinting the whole time, unable to really SEE where the buttons were.

[EDIT 8/23/24] I'm watching someone try the demo on Youtube and I feel dumb--you CAN change the color of the default background! Thank goodness! (We should be allowed to change the color of the text too, though.)

The color wheel needs the preset/copy ability The Sims has, so I'm not always inputting the same colors for every CAZ part. For some reason it does NOT like 000000 (black) as a color input for accessories, which is annoying.

But the GRAPHICS QUALITY, zomg.

(I tried to give Sakura pointed elf ears, lol.) We need more sliders on the zois' faces & body, but they're off to a GREAT start.)

The zois are absolutely stunning--these are the graphics I was praying for when TS4 was first announced, not that playdough garbage EA barfed up.

This aesthetic gives me HEAVY Cyberpunk2077 vibes, especially when the nail selector popped up--I love it.

(We just need TATTOOS & facial piercings!)

The hairs are ok--I LOVE that you can change the length--but it's only on SOME of the hairs, not all. Definitely need more variation & texture diversity--even EA had more braids, fros, dreads, curls, etc.

The clothes, shoes & ACCs options are modern, and some are VERY stylish, but kinda plain IMO (esp. the shoes, ick). My fave bottoms are the ninja-esque pants, which is why Sakuryuu are both wearing them--I was hoping for WAY more traditional Asian representation in the fashion department, wtf. U_U The textures are lovely--I love the shiny metallics. (We need some sheers though.) I want more shiny sequins & leather textures on the clothes--I need that the sequin jacket IRL.

The makeup's my favorite part--the eyes have soooo many options--you KNOW I had to give Ryuu slit eyes like a dragon/snake!

And I gave Sakura glitter & highlights. They just need to let us stack multiple makeup & jewellery, and we'll be gravy.

I expect/hope there'll be more options in the full release--this IS just a demo.

As for the cities, apparently the 3 worlds we're getting are Korea, Indonesia, & California--Pacific coasts, makes sense. They're locked off for the demo, but at least we got to see the map.

(As soon as I saw Indonesia I knew I had to go right back in and make my husband, Magnus Bane~!)

My laptop's nothing to write home about, but it ran super quiet while the demo was running (it definitely runs better than my Steam Deck, which was running kinda choppy). So here's hoping it doesn't effing COMBUST when I start sending zois into the city come full release.

Okay so this is what I’m thinking: JV has used Johnny as a way to vent/tell his truths and gaslit everyone into thinking it wasn’t about him.

There are many things similar between the two: the way they look/dress (90’s mall goth), the haircut, being a cinephile, his viewpoints on humanity, his personality, etc. What I’ve gathered from posts on the internet about people who’ve met him in the 90’s, he was considered to be toxic. Which considering he was still in his teenage years/early adulthood it’s understandable. He literally looks like Johnny!

On the Johnny Twitter account, there are SO many tweets that are just JV venting or talking about things he likes. Short haired girls, talking about women all being insane (which he’s done on livestreams), his views on people, even down to just random bullshit like eating snacks and avoiding sleeping. All of those tweets are just JV. Johnny is a puppet for him to speak and vent through. And you might be going, “well, he HAS to come up with things for Johnny to say”…so why make him completely similar to himself? Surely a creative mind could come up with more.

Think about it, many panels are totally just artwork based on real life with a modification here and there. For example, Johnny laughing at a sitcom/not killing himself because he has something to watch to distract him. If that isn’t JV I don’t know what is. And if you’ve ever been there when he had literal breakdowns on stream, you’d know 1.) he used media as a distraction, clearly and 2.) he’s suicidal. Even though everyone brushes it off as a joke.

There are so many interviews and things JV has said himself that would indicate he: has a sleep disorder/is afraid of sleep, he doesn’t understand people (which Johnny doesn’t either) arrogance and hypocrisy, among other things that also indicate paranoid ideation. Which…I can’t even blame him because some of his fans are…interesting. Seriously, he fathered that whole “zomg I’m so random xD” school of thought. Disorganized thinking but make it funny and marketable I guess.

There are even interviews and I think one of them is on YouTube where an interviewer called it a joke and he looked SO pissed. If JTHM TRULY wasn’t about him, or a joke…why would he selling get angry if an interviewer said it was?

Even observing him in his livestreams, you can totally pinpoint things that make you go “Johnny would totally say that”, and “this is a symptom of [insert mental illness here], and the breakdowns everyone has already witnessed. Now, people brush it off as “everything he does is a joke”, but do you REALLY think that’s the case?

The thing about JV is that he’s the ultimate hipster: he clearly doesn’t care about being understood and wants to be seen as completely original and “too good” for things everyone else likes. He has amazing tastes sure, but *many* people do whether they like the same things or not. Hence why he also has stated he can’t stand being copied before. (Forgot where I saw that on the internet, sorry.) This is why he also hates when anyone relates to his work…because it no longer becomes personal or special. Not even because people read JTHM wrong/think it’s edgy humor/is a phase to them. And think about it…why would you care if people only use your work to LARP if you’re getting paid and it’s just a joke to you anyway? Why would you WANT them to actually get it…if it isn’t something that’s clearly important to you?

Mostly, JTHM is FULL of intrusive thoughts. Most people have them, but to an artist that gives them ideas for their artwork.

This is just SOME stuff I have written but let me know if you want more.

For my own Jhonen-esque reasons I'm allergic to getting too personal on my blogs typically, but I'm making an exception here because of the work put into this...

I've been JTHM since my formative years, and it's always been a big inspiration towards my art, writing, and interests. You can tie a good 75% of my interests back to JTHM, or the things referenced within it somehow. I've also struggled with a fuckload of mental illness since forever. So, for the longest time, I've accidentally looked towards Jhonen Vasquez as this weird litmus test standard for normalcy? He made my struggles look artistic and interesting, instead of just lame and debilitating. All while being a SEEMINGLY normal-passing dude, despite clearly having some issues. It's been hard, you know, kinda grappling with the fact that I'll probably never be able to maintain that level of presentation and seeming stability. See, I'm not a livestream kinda guy, so my exposure to him is all panels and interviews. So! Imagine my reaction upon you telling me that this guy, at fifty something, is apparently a complete dork who has suicidal breakdowns on livestream! I'm finally free!

Everybody I look up to is just as lame as I am, and I never have to worry about this ever again! ANYWAYS, ONTO THE ACTUAL ASK! I'm pulling a Jhonen and officially declaring everything I just said as an elaborate exercise in brilliant irony!

Yeah, you're right about all of this and you should say it. I've always seen Johnny as being Jhonen's borderline self-insert slash power fantasy. It's done so obviously, that his continous attempts to deny it just make it seem more obvious. Though, I'll say that before reading this I thought Johnny was perhaps a more exagerrated depiction of his personality, but maybe not as much so as I originally thought? In regards to him being perceived as rude in the 90s, I've never been able to pinpoint if he was as callous as everybody said, or just unaccustomed to interacting with people who looked up to him so much. When MCR was on its last leg as a band, I know people used to really tear into Gerard Way on forums for not having his usual energy, when he was just depressed, lol. It's probably a mix of both.

I'd love to see more of what you've written. Please never be shy about sending large essays! I love them, and that's why I write them, and subject everyone on Tumblr to my longwinded opinions.

So I've been sitting on this thought for a bit but. I want to make an informal propaganda post for Gaiaonline! It's a site that's got its pros and its cons, but I feel like it'd really appeal to some of the tumblr crowd, and also I just like to gush about things I like and Gaia is one of those things

So: What is Gaiaonline?

Gaiaonline is essentially a social/avi dressup site, with a lot of love poured into the site's setting! The big draw of course is having an avatar to personalize and plenty of items to dress them up in, but there's other features as well:

Such as numerous minigames (more on one of those later), and even manga featuring backstory and escapades of the site's npcs (don't let the cool panel crops fool you though - a lot of it is silly gag bits lol)

There's also a few options for socializing, as well - you can of course dm people, but there's also forums, profile comments, and statuses. The forum even has semi-recently gained the option for night mode! The site also has their own selection of emojis, some standard and some... not so much xD

Speaking of profile - you can have a decently customizable profile! Gaia provides options in-site, but if none of those are your cup of tea then you can use an external url (or photobucket, but they both watermark nowadays and also are switching to pay-only accounts so I don't recommend that option) - you can add images on the profile, and a background, and have multiple text boxes that can be customized for various uses! Gaia also has aquariums that can display on your profile, but I don't use those anymore so I can't say much on them.

So your avi isn't the only thing you can stylize! Speaking of which... How about those avis?

You can get a wide array of items, and with the right inventory the world is your oyster! There's even a slew of franchise/fandom-inspired items, either from old promotions or just designs made as homages!

(Example Adventure Time-inspired item on the marketplace - Many users sell their items there, so it's wise to check in from time to time!)

Gaia also historically turns to its userbase for item inspiration, and sells the winning designs from the contests it hosts in the shops, so you could show off your own design tastes if you feel like they're lacking your dream item.

^ Example store - complete with a storefront where you can see other user's avatars out front if they're shopping there! The screencap of Moira the NPC is from the middle of the Halloween event they host yearly, hence her dialogue box and Harley Quinn Cosplay.

Don't have money? Not to worry! Gaia offers "Daily Chance" items and money, sometimes including random chance mini-events that can give you some sweet loot AND a fun time.

Still, maybe you want something more... Interactive? Not to worry!!

Allow me to introduce.... zOMG! A flash game - yes you heard that right, FLASH game - where you can run around and kill things, take on quests from npcs, and earn more gold, make friends and more! As stated, it's a flash game, so they had to come up with some workarounds - but they offer suggestions on-site that work with some success in my experience! The drawback is it can be a bit laggy, but sometimes it's just fun having an excuse to see your avatar run around and shoot things. Or slash things. or fling flaming meteors at things. You know how it is.

All in all, it's a very silly site, but one that I find holds a lot of charm and a place in my heart even now. I can't recommend it enough, and hope this appeals to someone reading. :)

P.S. : CONS OF GAIA

This post is already too long so I put cons (and some general disclaimers) under the cut, feel free to read at your discretion:

So as much as I like to gush, there are some notable cons to Gaia, which feel noteworthy to share. I only spend my time in the areas of the site covered above, so apologies if there's anything I fail to mention:

The economy. Good Lord, the Economy. It got so bad Gaia literally had to change from Gaia gold to Gaia platinum because the inflation got so bad - and then they never properly addressed the setup that led to this in the first place. If you buy from the Gcash stores or from the regular storefronts, it's nbd - but the marketplace with its auctions and its user-established prices can get downright brutal. Gaia has also taken recently to flooding the daily chance items with high-quality items from days past - which may not be the worst (especially not for new users) but I do strongly suspect it isn't helping the economy front much.

GCash - Personally I find this a drawback, but a lot of Gaia's push, especially of late, is GCash. This makes sense - there aren't a lot of users left atm, so no point in hosting events, but it does get a little old removing announcements for items only available for real money sometimes. This is something I hope would see a change though, if enough people decide to join.

Filters - there are unfortunately some curses and the like banned to keep the site 'friendly' to younger ages which. Sometimes backfires on their own announcements or npc dialogue. You can type and send the word, iirc, but it will get automatically filtered accordingly. That said, avatar items can get exceedingly raunchy, or have curse words in their displays even, so the bar is.... Nebulous, here.

Flash Player - Gaia has been around for a long time, since 2003. A lot of functions are defunct or buggy, or in the case of zOMG! as mentioned above, require an outside party tool to help it run smoothly. They do what they can do address it but it has impacted things and probably will continue to do so.

Social media - I would say this site doesn't quite qualify as such, as the ability to share media is middling at best. You can post writing, or art, using the forums or the journal function, but it's far from ideal. Other aspects, like profile comments, can be clunky for communication purposes, so while Gaia has some decent options, it's not up to speed with the big giants in social sites nowadays.

Mobile app? - there IS an app for phones. But at the moment, it's only for dressing up your avatar - none of the other functions are available. If you use this site for avi dressup, this is no big deal, but it could be better.

There's other cons, but these feel like the big ones to mention.

Lastly, unrelated but disclaimer: Most of these pictures are my own screenshots, avis, etc, with some minor exceptions - I tried to stick to my own content and accounts (yes I have Several accounts) for showcasing here, when not using official resources. If anyone recognizes themselves or a friend in here and wants it removed/changed/blacked out/etc just give me a shout.

Yes! I have finally made some pieces for my ttte gem!au, where they're pretty gem people, like that one 3d anime where everybody's gorgeous but sad things happen alllllll the tiiiiiime. This neat little world has some things like that, but not NEARLY as bad. I mean I'm all for pathos but I'm not a monster who would torture beloved characters. Yikes. Because I'm an old nerd who grew up with tatmr, I will begin with my two favourite brain synapses Lady and D10, as gem humanoids. If I were still doing gijinkas of the TV trains, they would also generally look like this, and I'm real happy with the hair designs. And the poses are sort of based off of one piece i made before IN A NOTEBOOK THAT WAS BLOODY STOLEN ALONG WITH PAGES AND PAGES OF OTHER ART I MADE, AND WHAT'S WORSE IS THAT INCLUDES THE ORIGINALS OF THE ART I DID POST, ALOT OF WHICH WAS UNFINISHED FGGFSFGHDGDFGGFFSDT guys it was so good I gave Lady a burger king crown to reference her gold funnel it would have been hilarious

Just like the canon, Lady is a big deal and D10 is still trying to destroy her. But the reason why this time around is a little more dramatic and cohesive. There is a clear reason why he hates her, and I wonder if you can possibly figure it out before I reveal it? There's a hint in the picture. How smart are you guys out there ô.ô

In the story, these two are, left to right, Yellow Chrysoberyl and Lady Gold. The gems usually refer to her as "their Lady", with lots of reverence, as she is the oldest living gem on Sodor. As for Chryso, he was a spunky gem even in the earlier days, until he began losing a lot of his crystal - he used to have longer hair. Then, when he lost one of his arms, was suddenly granted a fun augmentation of liquid copper that can morph into anything he wants. But the inclusion was...a bit painful? Sometimes it even shows mild sentience of it's own, and it now treats him like a friend. Though the very first thing it did was morph into a giant machine claw and try to crunch him...it didn't do much though. So Chryso got the idea to call it "Pinchy". But how exactly did he come across it? And what is Lady Gold's involvement?

Okay, I’ve made myself whittle my Mass Effect: Andromeda Playthrough #1 Romance Options down to three:

Jaal. ZOMG, Jaal has joined the crew and he’s even more my type Sara’s type than I was expecting! He gives off slightly tortured soul vibes to me, kinda blunt, funny but reserved, not the sort to give his trust easily but once you have it? Woooooo boy, he is There For You™ no matter what. Also? Shoulders for daaaaaays. 🔥🔥🔥

Suvi. Only an option for Sara, not Scott. Honestly, I think she’ll get a playthrough of her own with Sara even if it doesn’t turn out to be this one. I just like her, what can I say? I love that she’s managed to reconcile being both a woman of faith and of science at the time. There’s a slightly sad sweetness to her, like she’s been waiting for somebody to really see her for a while now and that she has a lot of love to give to the right person.

Peebee. Sassy and funny but i get the feeling there’s a lot more to her than what she likes to show on the surface. Also an option for Scott, so if she doesn’t get a Sara playthrough, then she’ll probably get one for him. However, every time she and Sara interact, I feel like Sara goes

(imagine screechy dial-up noises to really sell the feeling, lol) when she looks at her, so there’s that. 😂

Also, did you notice? Ya gal got her game capture working! This weirdly wasn’t as easy as it’s been to capture Halo footage. 🤔 The fact that Andromeda is more like ONE GIANT MASS of a game instead of having levels like each of the Halo games makes it much more difficult to note what scenes are coming up or to go back and get cutscenes again. And for some reason, it’s recording in a HUGE size, much bigger than Halo’s, so there’s no way I can just capture the whole game without needing TBs of storage space. 😬 So I doubt I can capture enough to make a ton of GIFs, much less to vid it. Though once I’ve played it through a few times, I may know when to target capturing for certain scenes. 🤷‍♀️

You know, I tell myself that I don’t HAVE to vid every fandom I love but, well, I’m a vidder at heart, what can I say? I like to have the option open at least! 😁👍

Oh, before I forget, I’m about 99% certain that Vetra is going to end up with Scott, so my Turian sweetie WILL get a romance, if not with Sara, then with her bro. Cora is also definitely getting a whirl with Scott. Oh and I thought Liam was an option for either but nope, just for Sara, so I’ve got to give him a playthrough, too! I’m hoping that what I’ve heard is correct, that if you just basically stick to the main missions, you can get through the game in about 10 hours, so that’s not a huge time commitment and will let me get my romance options on both as Sara and Scott a couple of times!

1,000+ hours on the MCC makes 10 hours sound like not a huge time commitment, yep, lol! I’m at 18 hours or so now for Andromeda and while I wasn’t expecting to do much if any of the side quests, I’m actually really enjoying them! It’s nice to have something I can tackle and resolve in a much shorter time than, you know, finishing the entire game. 👀😉

beyond the beyond is the most ff2-feeling game i've played in a while. you've got the guy and the girl and the other guy and That Other Guy... and this game has lots of random encounters and there's a prison and there's the Bad Nation that you have to fight, I think? I'm not too far into it but SPOILERS: one of your guys gets cursed by the hot (loosely speaking) lady oh no!!! but so far it's a fine enough game. it's like... it's not good. but i can see myself as a little kid going ZOMG THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER just because of the vibes. and i love how you can just explore and there's REASON to explore for hidden items and stuff!!
