i eat up a lot of asian gay content, and some of it is amazing, most of it is whatever, and i realise i mostly do it bc it has queer people in it. but i wish it had some meat on the bones if you know what i mean
#there are some very nice shows out there!!#but c-novels are my favourite for a reason#bc they're not *romance* novels#i can see why romance shows appeal to peoppe#but i could not care less about that y'know#anyways#bumi bumble#it would be nice if more queer cinematography wasn't necessarily romance-orientef#that'd really suit my aroace soul#like i don't mind romance and sex in my art#it's all cool#hope more of it has stuff besides it tho#this is why books > shows i'm sorry#also also#if only i read comics#ik there's a lot of queer comics#both eastern and western#but i just never got into that#i can read them just fine and enjoy them#i just don't feel driven to read them most of the time#sometimes i watch those damn romance shows and i get snapped back to reality by a character i am CONVINCED is aro#but they will get a romantic partner in the end anyway#and it feels BAD#okay#like#leave them be#why is this part of your romantic idea#i hate it
