Chrono and nemoto for the character duo thing? I feel like their either at eachothers throats or are teaming up to rip someone up to shreds verbally amd there is no in between

oh you are absolutely right. they HATE each other but they hate stupid people more

they're fucking hilarious actually. they both get sooooo jealous over chisaki. nemoto complains about something and kurono immediately hypes it up just to annoy him. chisaki can't put them together on missions because they might end up sabotaging it to make the other look bad. but if someone insults chisaki, or they manage to agree on something, god help whoever managed to piss both of them off.

chisaki desperately wants them to get along because they're two of his closest friends confidants and because their rivalry is seriously affecting the rest of the expendables (and chisaki is also an expendable) but he doesn't know how to get them to stop arguing. sometimes setsuno or rappa says something to deliberately set them off (to the eternal exasperation of tengai, hojo, irinaka, and/or katsukame)
