What is better than a sloth?
A sloth bear.
Think it isn’t real? Well, so did I until I saw it when reading up on tigers. Crazy what you can learn about, huh?
When I first saw a picture of the sloth bear, I thought it looked like a mangy black bear with a streak on its chest. If I saw that in the woods, I would run the other way, thinking it had rabies or something. But then I researched.
Sloth bears eat ants and berries. They don’t even attack with their claws unless provoked by predators or humans. (PSA: Don’t ever approach wild animals, even if they look cute and cuddly. Just don’t fam, 0/10 do not attempt). They can grow 5 to 6 feet in length and weigh between 200 and 300 pounds. Their nostrils can close entirely to keep ants and termites from getting up there, but they have an awesome sense of smell.
Weird tidbit, but they have eye sight similar to that of a human. I wonder if they ever get bad eyesight, would they need spectacles?
They are also noisy! Ever heard of a wild animal that just casually made noise all the time? Me neither. Yet these bears walk around grunting and snorting as they pull berries off shrubs and dig in termite mounds. Kind of like a perpetual grumpy old man.
Sloth bears are usually solitary, except for when there are cubs. Speaking of cubs, these bears are the only bears who carry their cubs on their back. That shaggy fur on their back is referred to as a “saddle” that the cubs hold on to.
As is the case with most strange and interesting animals, their habitat and population is being threatened by human activities. The sloth bear is classified as the fourth-most endangered bear species.
The sloth bears are threatened by human animal conflict (when the sloth bears raid farm crops), loss of forests outside of protected areas, and poaching. Poaching is by far the largest threat to sloth bears. They are hunted for their body parts because they are used in traditional medicines and aphrodisiacs, their meat is eaten, and their claws and teeth worn as ornaments.
The sloth bears are protected under schedule I of the Indian Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. But poachers are criminals, so who would expect them to follow the law?
Currently, conservationists are trying to change local opinion on the bears, and tigers too. These animals are easy to fear because they can seriously harm humans if provoked, but there is a simple solution to this problem.
Don’t provoke them.

P.S. These bears look weirdly like my childhood dog, who was a shaggy, black lab/golden retriever mix.

lust sans belongs in the bad gays group and here's three reasons why (with evidence) ((NOT CLICKBAIT))
ok i lied about the evidence but listen. i have thoughts and feelings about this and you all get to be dragged along. this is a long post.
DISCLAIMER: THESE ARE HEADCANONS. i do base many of my headcanons off of their canons, but i am not proclaiming anything to be canon or not since none of these characters belong to me; i am just having fun with them.
1.) lust is an outcast among the multiverse sanses - this is due to a cultural underlust thing, NOT a "sexual purity" thing because we do Not stan that here
the story of underlust is one of underpopulation and a continuous aphrodisiac heat curse. due to this, i'd bet MONEY that the underlust culture is wildly different than any of the other AUs. we're talking more solitary lives (less people around; more people alone, leads to loneliness and the NEED to be around someone, not even counting the heat curse), we're talking frequent hookups on the spot being considered normal, we're talking people who probably have very different ways to interpret social cues - aka, interpreting implied consent (which is a real thing and a huge problem in some places).
and i bet u that because of this, lust ACCIDENTALLY comes onto a lot of his alternate selves without realizing because his culture is so so different than theirs.
he's avoided because of this. he's an outcast. he makes them uncomfortable, even though he doesn't try to. he knows they're uncomfortable around him, but he doesn't know how to fix it.
this is where nightmare comes in.
2.) nightmare takes in those who are shunned (like he was), and lust is no exception.
for fucks sake y'all, his freaking NAME is "lust". i bet you he didn't even pick it out - could you imagine being named after something so normal in your culture, something you had no control over, just because it's not like that in other cultures? that'd be like naming horror "cannibalism".
imo, him getting named "lust" was literally just another way to shun and isolate him from the other multiversal sanses.
and nightmare knows what it's like to be shunned by everyone around you for something you can't control. big headcanon is that that's the reason why he takes in so many of the "bad" sanses in the first place.
3.) he would 100% fit right in
"how the fuck would sexy man fit in with the murderers??" well i will tell you one thing they have nothing to do with each other so you can put your poor little sexual purity mindset to rest and also get it out of here bc again we do not vibe with that
let me lay it out for you
horror comes from an AU where resources are dwindling. food is scarce, people are succumbing to cannibalism madness, it's messy and horrible and the culture of horrortale is a lot different than any other AU. horror would definitely understand lust's situation the most - he's shunned for similar reasons.
cross comes from an AU where he's one of many royal guards. im sure u all keep up with xtale and underverse, but lets say that in this, the events of underverse never happened after X. he's not so much culturally different as he is traumatized - he just lost his whole family and his entire AU, he's forcibly joined to a vengeance seeking spirit who he thinks is power-hungry and insane (xchara), and after X and before meeting Ink, he's practically hopeless. a perfect magnet for nightmare to find him. nightmare offers him safety and peace, and cross, tired of it all, agrees. the x-event never comes to pass. ((i'm laying all this out because i often see cross included in the bad squad with no explanation @ underverse, so this is how i figure it goes - underverse just never happens in these timelines))
ANYWAYS cross is traumatized, and though i think he and lust would be rocky at first, they'd eventually get along and understand each other; they'd just need some time to do that.
dust is from a timeline where chara commits genocide run after genocide run, and dust is driven to kill everyone in an attempt to beat chara - this leaves him in an empty world with a guilt formed hallucination of his brother. he is Also traumatized. i feel like he and lust would get along; the lack of feeling like there was any other choice is probably a huge thing that helps them connect.
killer is from a timeline similar to dust's, except instead of fighting against chara, killer joins chara after what are probably years of them resetting and asking him to join them. killer is traumatized, he's a bit not right in the head, but with chara out of the way and him with nightmare, i feel like he's pretty chill, a lot like his old self. i feel like he'd see lust and they'd honestly be best friends - they both have the same sort of laid back attitude. they'd fit like puzzle pieces.
error is a quirky, stupid little man baby with way too much power. nightmare didn't take him in; error just showed up one day and the bad gays simply got used to him showing up - i bet there was at least one point where error showed up, killer proclaimed that cross had gotten error "some of that chocolate shit he likes" and error immediately bolted to cross and held out his hands (and yeah, cross did get extra just for the next time error showed up). i think error and lust would honestly clash the most, what with lust's culture being "overly touchy" and error's blatant fear of touch. once lust realizes he can't do that kinda stuff with error though, they'd definitely be able to get along. lust probably bribes error with gifts and shit.
and finally, nightmare. i feel like they'd get along from the start; lust has a penchant for dramatics and nightmare's open to new ideas. lust and nightmare bonding over being absolute queens is something i will never let go of.
im saying that because they're all outcasts, they all figure they better stick together, and lust would fit right in with them.
then they help lust pick out a different name for himself and they all decide on "hearts" for him and then they all Kiss
#bad gays poly#sanscest#utmv#lust sans#nightmare sans#horror sans#cross sans#dust sans#killer sans#error sans#fae's headcanons#listen im just saying. hearts deserves it.

Entry 30 (Media)
Dear Asher!
Today I want to address something very important to me. It is something everyone is profiting from nowadays. Social Media. There are literally hundreds of thousands kids and young teenagers who make money of e.g. lip-syncing to sex songs or rapping with their girly and squeaky voice because they didn't hit puberty yet, some of those people make money showing off their ass or their cleavage. That's insane! Why the fuck do I even bother going to school so I can get in a good university and have a degree when I can simply show my private parts and make hundreds of dollars based on the likes I get? Who the fuck needs doctors or lawyers when y'all can show your parts publically and live off of that? Fuck education, man, trying to grind and twerk sexily at the age of 12 is the new way of education!
What was the original thought behind social media? I bet you all forgot that right? The thought was that everybody can see and read things online at the same time! Nobody has to wait weeks so their post man brings them a letter that says who the new president of the US is couple weeks after the election. There are of course a lot of other thoughts behind it. One of them is what I am doing right now. Sharing my opinion on a platform with the world, which is perfectly okay but it never was the intention to hurt people this way. The purpose of these platforms was to share your works to the world doesn't matter if your passion was art or reading poems or something else. Nowadays everybody is trying to hurt people (celebrities) through clickbait which the biggest bullshit of them all. This isn't fair for the creator to be dissed like that just because they make money because they do what they love. It is so depressing reading all these horrible and absurd things about your favourite creators which are all complete and utter bullshit. They want to make their money based of using their name as clickbait which is even more pathetic than reading the shit they publish.
If I am subscribed to a creator I want to watch them because they are funny, creative or genuinely passionate about their work and NOT because of some bullshit clickbait they make. That's ridiculous. An example: XY is my favourite creator and I am subscribed. WHY? Because I find them funny and entertaining. As their channel grows they have to find a way to gain more subscribers through making ridiculous clickbait such as 'ARRESTED BECAUSE PLAYING TWISTER?!?1?!' or 'MAKING OUT WITH MY SISTERS BOYFRIEND FOR 1000 BUCKS??!?!' or 'ACCIDENTLY DESTROYING MY 2153468723 DOLLAR PHONE?!?!?'.
I grew up in a time where having internet was mostly for rich people. It was luxurious to say the least. Let's not forget that the speed was so fucking slowly that I to wait for 2 centuries to open up a page. I still remember where our shitty mobile phones had a browser but my parents always said if you ever click on that browser be prepared to be grounded until time stops because they charged you based on how long you were using the browser for. We were all excited because there was new technology going around and even though nobody really understood what was going on we started to adapt to the new situation. This invented technology was the best and worst thing that could happen to humanity. It has a lot of perks but every coin has two sides. Creators of any kind spend so much time and money doing what they love and their prices are being criticized because of one small and harmless comment on their new haircut or the way the talk, walk or sing. Nobody on this bloody planet is perfect I don't get how many times I have to remind people of that. What is your goal pointing to others saying their scarf doesn't match their outfit or the way they create their work is 'incorrect'? Are you so insecure about yourself that you have to bring other people down? If yes then you can go fuck yourself so hard that you make your way straight to Hell. If no then go find a fucking hobby you stupid little cunt, spending your time on the internet writing hate comments on people's work because you are a horrible excuse of a human being and this is just a desperate act for attention.
It's really sad what the world has come to. People died so everybody can go to school and what do we do? We drop out of school at any age to do awful pranks on people hurting them to make money or being a stupid drama channel and gain money from other creator's names and their misery.
I did not write this entry to talk bad about social media or the people who really gain their money from making pranks, drama channels or showing off their private parts. I don't give a flying fuck about that. What I really care about is treating people like humans. If you see something you like online then comment saying you love their voice, appearance, work etc. and if you don't then simply DO NOT COMMENT ALL AT!!!! It's not rocket science. If you don't appreciate someone's work of passion then simply click away and do not express your thoughts about it in a hurtful way saying things like 'go kill yourself' or 'drink bleach' or insulting them. But if you want to say something negative about their work SAY IT IN A POLITE WAY!!! For example I saw a video which was okay but the editing could have been better and I comment saying 'hii your content is dope but your editing skills could improve if you use this other program because it's much simpler to use, keep up the good work though!'.
Is this so hard to understand? Is it really?
