How does (canon character) feel about your OC?

WILL feels pretty close with HYO, they work as partners 🫡 Not only that but the way they’re able to see through another person’s eyes is also VERY similar, the only difference is that Hyo is able to see through the eyes of the victim. They have an odd relationship where it’s not just platonic and not exactly romantic but a secret third thing. Like do they have very strong tension in intimate moments like when they reenact a crime scene, yes. But will they ever kiss or say anything explicitly like “I love you”? WHO KNOWS. But they both do wish they were brought closer together in different circumstances

How does your OC feel about (canon character)?

HYO also feels the same way as WILL in the sense that they’re pretty close. There’s like a soft vulnerability that comes with understanding that they both really enjoy with each other. They’re both fiercely loyal to the other and basically are like. locked in for realsies. If no one believes the other one, they know they got each other’s backs ‼️ To be quite honest I can’t tell if they’re normal about each other or not, but compared to other people in the show I think they are 😰 

Has your OC ever made (canon character) laugh? / What about cry?

omg HYO and WILL make each other giggle all the time, it’s very silly. They like to crack small inside jokes pretty often to make sure they’re both not being so caught up in their own heads. I don’t think they’ve made each other cry (i say as i literally created hyo and her lore) but i think the closest that comes to crying is like. being very concerned over the other person which has happened often

Do your OC and (canon character) ever cross paths?

YES ‼️‼️‼️ HYO becomes WILL’s work partner through Jack. Jack has known Hyo for a while because she actually used to work for the BAU for a short amount of time before a case got her real fucked up (which is why she has the neck scar) and so she was taken out of duty 👎 She got back into work though after Will unofficially joined because it only made sense

Which canon character annoys your OC?

It’s a tie between DR. CHILTON and HANNIBAL. Okay to be fair, HYO doesn’t like medical professionals/psychiatrists 😭😭😭 so like anyone in those fields already put her on guard due to past trauma. She doesn’t like either of them but unfortunately for her, much like Will, she catches their interest. Another character would be FREDDIE. I think she would get irritated more with Freddie than the other two to be honest. Freddie sticks her nose in Hyo’s personal life which she’s very protective about

What canon character gets annoyed by your OC?

A character that gets like. annoyed. ERMMM. I think ALANA, and not because HYO is like “in the way” between her and Will/Hannibal (at least at first before shit went down) but because she got the vibe that Hyo didn’t like her. Hyo is neutral about Alana leaning towards dislike so Alana’s guess wasn’t entirely off

Which canon character respects your OC most? What gained that respect?

In all honesty, it’s a toss up between BEV and WILL. Bev really respects HYO a lot because of how she handles cases with a dedicated focus and desire to solve it and how she tries her best to not get lost in her own head. WILL has pretty much the same reason too

ERMMMM. THIS IS A GOOD QUESTION I DONT KNOW. oh wait that’s a lie i do know. Probably FREDDIE. Freddie is all up in Hyo’s personal life it’s so bad 😭😭😭

HYO respects BEV, WILL, and JACK a whole lot. She really appreciates them and what they do not only for her but for other people as well. They’re people who she knows is doing what they think is genuinely right

HYO does not give a flying fuck about FREDDIE. At all. If there is one thing Hyo absolutely cannot tolerate, it’s when nosey people refuse to give up. She does not take kindly to people digging up and trying to find stuff about her personal life that she’s left in the past, especially not when it’s Freddie. You would see Hyo get so bitchy when Freddie is around

Um. 🧍‍♀️Really good question. I think the worst HYO has ever done was like beat up people really badly when she was in middle school, but she hasn’t killed anyone (i dont think) (this is subject to change)

SHE HAS A LOT OF THOSE 😭 FROM THE MOMENT SHE CALLED THE COPS ON HER BEST FRIEND WHO ENCOURAGED HER TO DO IT TO THE REALLY BAD TREATMENT JN THE HOSPITALS

I think a huge redemption moment for her was adopting/meeting DAISUKE, that’s when most of her most of her bad habits started to break like smoking

No I don’t think so, I don’t think there’s any moments where she has hurt someone who didn’t deserve it

i hope this ask finds you chilling! it's too bad i missed the stream this week, but i figure i should give you my review of pure or else i'll never remember! that being said sorry in advance if this is annoying at all T.T

anyway overall i really liked it! that's my boring answer haha

my more in-depth answer is sets 100, the set design did not have to do all that but i love that they did. i have to say from the jump the dog made me so nervous but i really did think the dog thing would serve as a catalyst instead of the sawatari thing but they got me, double whammy.

i understand the ryo beef and i'm with you on it he really entered yuka into the competition, did all that, and then got mad about the consequences of his own actions...

i also can get why ppl would say it doesn't have a lot of rewatch value because it was fairly low-stakes and not too bombastic, but i also think there could be a lot to take in from future watch throughs anyway so...

it was really charming to me that sawatari was awkward in his own way, like, he was competent socially no doubt and pretty good at expressing himself but in a way that came off (to me at least) like a d&d kind of low charisma if that makes sense haha just like blunt and to the point but not unkind.

idk where i'm going with this, i just wanted to make sure i made good on my promise to report back 🫡.
