traditional art dump
#crtm#i do more “normal” stuff sometimes but im not great at it#and i just prefer the pleasing lines and patterns anyway.#i might post the more normal stuff but i got reminded of this old sketchbook i haven't touched in months a week or two ago#i am very proud of this stuff but im focusing on pixel art for now. traditional art is too finicky and annoying#even pencil sucks. theres a limit to how much you can erase. im decent at still lifes but dont ask me to draw a person lmao#i started doing this at some point bc i just wanted to do something that just felt more natural to me.#something in pen so i couldn't nitpick and erase constantly#im just not a visual person. drawing is insanely hard for me. but this style is nice cos once ive got an idea and a starting point#i just keep repeating the pattern until it's done. it's very calming#also you can tell only for only one of these did i actually throw it into lightroom and make it look somewhat color accurate to real life#that was cos it was the server icon for my campaign for a while
