i’m wondering if it’s an aspec thing to do to only read smut because the human interaction and yk… the exploration of it all (both physical and emotional) is interesting and cool and not just because it’s hot.

as in, if i’m reading (or even watching) and explicit scene, what draws me in is the contribution of the scene to describing a character or the relationship between two characters, not the sex itself.
