so i researched it and thankfully if it turns out i do have celiacs my school’s dining hall is really good about accommodating it ;’) i read a whole article about it from an independent blogger and they even have a locked room with keycard access only for those registered with the office of accessibility where all the food served is gluten free. (and a few other allergens too) which is good because my mom was super worried about me having to cook for myself and not being able to eat in the dining hall and being overwhelmed but it looks like i’ll have good options

#and all that is required is a drs note of the diet’s necessity and not a dx #which is good because i really don’t want to get an endoscopy if my test is inconclusive or a weak positive #i am still hoping for a negative though because who tf wants to have celiacs #but doing all this research now is reassuring to me so #for the first time today at the supermarket i also checked all the labels for gf certifications #and realizing how many labels claim gf without being certified… INCLUDING OAT MILK AND OAT BASED DAIRY ALTERNATIVES #where the risk of contamination is soooo high it is so messed up and stressfulllll
