vote by mail is the superior form bc i don't think i would've survived 8 hours and 17 pages of research notes if i didn't have the reward of occasionally getting to fill in a bubble. everyone should get to vote by mail. not even for covid reasons just generally.
#i'm kind of still recovering from this ngl#but like. the last thing on my ballot this year was a constitutional amendment to just. stop doing ballot initiatives basically#legislature chucks out those results regularly but they don't want to have to even pretend to consider them#but the phrasing sounds like the literal exact opposite. family members agree. so did the courts.#it doesn't DO anything bc it got thrown out in court. but like. the research very much mattered to the bitter end!#i am still glad i filled out the bubble that reflects my stance! can't hurt#SO glad we were well established long before covid turned it into a culture war issue#ive never voted in person and i never want to#politics#ink post#rambling
