Yay! 4, 5, 6, 13, 15, 30. 💙
4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw
It's gotta be my favorite boy, Kotarō. I love drawing him and I draw him a lot, but something about his hair and bangs never looks right? I wish I liked more of my works with him, because there are so many cool concepts I did with him, but I just think he doesn't look like himself enough.
5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself
I post maybe 10% of my art online... I really draw a lot, and I mostly draw for myself! I sometimes even draw NSFW, but I am not brave enough to post it anywhere (digital footprint is real) so I only post pieces that I think someone other than me might like or that I am extremely proud of!
6. Anything that might inspire you subconsciously
Hmmm... I was thinking about this a lot. If it's subconscious, how am I supposed to have counciousness of it? I am actually still thinking about this. I am thinking about this every day, and I have absolutely no idea, actually...
13. A creator who you admire but whose work isn't your thing
Honestly, I am not sure how I would answer this question, because I seriously love all artists and their respectful work, and I have never really looked into someone's pieces and said 'Not my thing'. Though, I tend to find hyper realism a little boring sometimes. I think it's really impressive to be able to copy something so truthfully, but it is not that creative, it's almost like looking at a printed out photograph most of the time, I wish there was some excitement or some twist to it!
15. Where do you draw
When I draw traditionally, I draw in my kitchen. That is literally the only place where I can focus and that has a big table where I can put all my supplies on. When I draw digitally, I literally draw anywhere I can sit or stand, because I draw on my phone using my fingers! Name a place in the house, I can draw there. Park, café, car, beach, classroom, gym... If inspiration strikes me, I will be drawing, and it doesn't matter where I am (if it's not disrespectful to stare at my phone, of course).
30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated
Honestly, none. I am happy that I finally feel confident enough to share my work with people online because that means it might get to someone who will enjoy it! Likes, comments and reblogs are something that doesn't matter to me.
