3. What playlists do you have on your phone?

a lot. so many. i organize my spotify in an excel spreadsheet to keep careful track of what i'm listening to and what i want to listen to etc, if that gives you an idea of the kind of anal i am about my music. i have like four categories of playlists i'd say:

the first is unhinged, but i've been dividing my music library into days of the week since like sixth grade. so every time i add a new song to favorites, it's gets added to each day in turn, so i have seven equal playlists. and then if i want to shuffle music on a certain day, i can only listen to the corresponding playlist. to keep things... even? i guess? yes i have a personality disorder, thx for asking.

second type is ~vibes and situational playlists. i.e. "favorite songs/songs that make me happy" and "mentally ill" and "hype up" and "shower" and "crying about work" and "getting over a love interest" etc.

third type is fic and ship playlists. i have one for stucky, one for each of my fics i've written (except the devil in me) and also an ancient one from my sirius/remus harry potter fandom days that still kinda slaps.

last kind is time-specific playlists! one of songs that remind me of my summer job from 2021! one from my first fall in my current city! i find a lot of songs are really rooted in certain time periods for me and the sense memory is really fun to re-experience at will.
