Sam and Evans relationship is so special yet so simple and it really just is that Sam treats Evan like he's normal and Evan treats Sam like she's serious

i just. this is more than a love confession. this is i want you in my normal day-to-day life. the person who she supports entirely, wholeheartedly, who she doesn't want to change or "fix". she wants him to know that he's worth it, that she can meet him where he is. she has her own life, but he would be (in sam's words) a really dope addition. a supplement. her life is better when he's in it.

blam could’ve been so good

like blaine was clearly wealthy, came from a bougie private school background, is introduced as very confident in his sexuality and his talent, has this very natural charm to him that radiates with everyone he meets to the point that he’s getting solos at every competition for the warblers as a sophomore

and sam could not be any different. he is introduced as this football player who just wants to fit in and clearly likes performing, is a good guy but is afraid of associating with the wrong people that leads to assumptions being made about him (assumptions about his sexuality mostly) AND he is dealing with homelessness and total disruption of his life following his dad getting a new job, moving away from private school, moving into a hotel, finding happiness with quinn at mckinley just to be cheated on…it is a total dichotomy from blaine who seemingly has his life together

and they are such unlikely friends !! like no one predicted this when they first met in season 3 but they maybe have the best friendship in the entire show which is insane given how little screen time they got together outside of season 4

there’s a class differential and total difference in personalities that shouldn’t work, but it works soooo well, and there was so much potential to explore that!! a true opposites attract we never got to see :(

Imagine a medieval!AU where Princess!reader is betrothed to King Macmillan. He's cold and distant to you and the only one who seems to show you the slightest sympathy is Sir Ojomo the knight tasked with your safety. He's the one taking you to all your dress fittings, he's the one who listens as you complain that your betrothed seems too busy with the Captain of the guards to even speak with you. That pesky man always glued by the kings side.

Sir Ojomo knows something you don't and he hates the king for it. The king will never love you no matter how much he tries, but this marriage will always be one of convenience and politics. You will produce his heir, but once a son is born he will likely never touch you again.

Though what Phillip hates the most is how he finds himself craving the company of the future queen. He hates how his mind is filled your laughs and corny jokes.
