My posts are disappearing or what lol

i genuinely don't know what's going on with my posts but the last two i've posted do not appear on the recent posts when you search hastags like #astro notes or #astro observations .

The only one that appears is the post that was supposed to introduce the series and serve as some kind of masterlist.

Now, I don't know if my tumblr is lagging or if I'm just being impatient (lol sorry mars in aries activities, I am probably overacting a bit)

But I want to know : Did it ever happen to you ? and for what reason ?

Honestly, I am a bit disappointed because I was really passionate about making this series just for the posts to get somewhat hidden by tumblr's algorithm (I don't really know how tumblr works).

Maybe it's because of the sensitive subject of ED's that it did not get "recommended" as much ? but still.. It's not a topic we see discussed THAT often in the astro community, like it's definetly not a "trendy topic" (for pretty obvious reasons it can be really triggering and depressing to read about) but it's so important to have those discussions.

It's such a common problem for so many people. Having it discussed within the astro community can maybe help some people understanding the mecanisms behind their eating patterns, the risks and the connection maybe with some traumas, or emotional wounds...

Obviously, I know my posts are not exhaustive AT ALL. They're only my personal observations so it's quite limited but still...

Anyways, this rant doesn't mean I will giving up on posting the rest of the series, it's just to let it all out and to probably have clues on what is going on with my posts.

yes this is a blog post inspired by my obsession of Kendrick Lamar!!

I first started listening to Kendrick back in 2010, by that time the first song I heard was from his Overly Dedicated mixtape and I was hooked. That was the same time I started listening to J.cole, Nas, Notorious BIG, Outkast, A Tribe Called Quest, 2Pac, Naughty By Nature, Queen Latifah… basically that was the time I started listening to really good music. Forward to 2011-12 Kendrick Lamar started having a heavy influence in my life, even got that high-top fade, Sneakers, everything man. The way I talked changed, i had a different group of friends, basically he built me into the person I am today.

There’s a line from one song which is from his latest album DAMN the song is titled FEAR and he talks about dying in the hood as a young man filled with hope, talent and dreams but when you die those dreams are not fulfilled. It’s a line that most of as teenagers can relate to if only we listen to it. As teenagers we barely listen to what songs are saying anymore ,we’re just looking for the hype and unfortunately if it isn’t hype you’re not going to listen to it. This is something that an individual scares me because if people aren’t doing simple things like listening to the lyrics of a song, what are they not paying enough attention to in they’re lives?

  But then again Kendrick is diverse, he can go from talking about dying as a young man and being forgotten to talking about love & loyalty. Love & Loyalty is something that we lack these days, people are just driven by lust, greed, hate, jealousy and just pure evil which will eventually lead to our demise.

Loyalty.. this has to be one of my favourite songs in this album. It became one my favourite’s because of Shereen, who is my bestfriend, business partner and just the best person in the world.
