In canon, Splotch took over Mr. Ree's body, so that probably still happens here.

And do the Melvins still get brainwashed here? That moment was so scary. season 2 of epic tales was so f'd up (I think you know a certain bee episode that I’m talking about. *shudders*)

Then George and Harold will have to tell CU that "Melvin is suffering a bad case of Bruce Wayne Held Hostage, so we have to take on his role".

again, george and harold NEVER find out that melvin and captain are in kahoots. for all they know, melvin knows captain as well as they do, aka, BARELY. and yes, splotch does happen! the difference in the sk au is that the melvins don't care about the society of robes. melvin has ended up putting academics on the backburner (i know, shocking), accepting that he can't go to elitinati if he wants to 'fix' captain, so his fantasies, such as the society of robes, are ALSO put on the backburner. borg, on the other hand, knows and understands EXACTLY what his younger self's intentions are, and lets him do what he needs to do. borg in general is kinda a supervisor, making sure things play out as they need to, but also helping out when things get too messy for his younger self to handle alone. giving him a little nudge in the right direction, if you will. anyways back to the point. since the melvins don't care about robecon, they won't be wearing robes, and therefore can't be controlled. so no, the melvins most likely don't get brainwashed. as for the bee episode... they become zombees because they stir honey in their tea. ...sk melvin drinks coffee mixed with energy drinks and nyquil. ...need i say more?
