but tbh im the last person you should ask about anatomy idk what im doing and never thought im decent at it? esp decent enough to give advice 😭

out of all generic anatomy advice i can only highlight tracing? (obv not the evil kind) tracing art of someone who was verrrry good at anatomy (+ i liked their style) helped me figure out some basics lol

#honestly i just kinda winged it all the time (hence why my anatomy was questionable as hell. and maybe still is)#with occasional use of refs for specific poses #and aforementioned tracing moments back in the day #i am exposing myself as someone who can't give good advice 🤧🤧#ask adry #anonymous #i think the only 'tip' for tracing i got #is like when the pose isnt working out/looks wrong #u use the ref and it's still kinda shit #straight up trace that thing #and then look at the lil trace u got and draw over with adjustment to ur style/pose/understanding of the body #after one or two of those u r more likely to get smth u wont hate kajdhkjas #and it's more hashtag anatomically correct !
