About me

I have honestly no idea what to tell you guys.. but here we are..

I am Flurry (ergo the name), she/her, born 1994 and German/Danish. I live in Germany (the reason for some very weird grammar stuff in my fanfictions.. please excuse that).  

My main blog is amazing-flurryfries and I am too lazy to change flurrys-creativity to the main so I think we can all deal with amazing-flurryfries sending asks...

I am also very much white/caucasian/nordic (I am aware of the priviledge I have with that and I know there are people that feel uncomfortable with it) -> also despite me being white and female and stuff like that, I try to write stories that can be read by any gender and any type of skin (but please excuse any mistakes should I forget the neutral part in supposedly neutral stories)

I am a multi stan. I got into kpop around April 2018 with GOT7. After that followed BTS, Big Bang, Day6, Stray Kids, The Rose, Monsta X, SHINee and Ateez. My newest addition is Seventeen! I haven’t stopped there though but these are the groups where I actually know the name of every member. And I swear, suggest me another group (not only boygroups) and I start listening to their music too.

My ultimate bias is Johnny Suh (after I basically got forced to admit it) I fear the demon twins are close behind though.. if not on the same level..

(same instapost anon) Yeah I totally get what you're saying. Anyway its funny how Seunghyun is the only one who came out of that mess on a moral highground. Even the police turned out to be scum in the end. As well as the media of course. Anyway Im glad he seems to be living it up mr. bubbles baths, seagull screaming, fancy food eating and all. Hes got a heart of gold and its always a joy to see his antics. (also lemme know if Im bothering you with these asks I know it can be tiresome to reply)

First of all, you could NEVER bother me with asks! I hardly get any these days, so I’m always super excited when I do. :) I’m sorry that it takes me a while to reply though. I’m not really checking tumblr every day like I used to.

I completely agree with all of what you just said, Anon. We all knew that Seunghyun wasn’t the ‘criminal’ they were trying to make him out to be. I’m so happy that he didn’t let it defeat him! He’s out there looking at art, sending weird texts to his friends, hanging out with them & drinking wine... making new music, eating ice cream & taking bubble baths with cheap ass Mr. Bubbles.

Today is my 4th VIP anniversary!!!! 🎉✨🙏

Throughout these years, I learned that patience, loyalty and strength are really important values in our fandom.

Last month a read a comment online that said something like this “…I wonder if it worth to get so emotionally attached to 5 strangers from the other side of the world…”

Then I asked myself this question… and the answer was Yes, It worth it.

All the memories... the good, the bad... all the happiness, the sadness... all the smiles, the tears… this is how life works. Sometimes we live dark times, but it happens so we can fully appreciate the light, the good things.

Our lives as fans are like that, not only unicorns and rainbows… we get through hard times, we learn from mistakes… ours, others… we learn from circumstances, we get better, we continue our path.

I was a VIP in the past, I am a VIP in the present and I’ll be a VIP in the future because what I feel for BIGBANG it’s more than say ‘I’m their fan’ or ‘I stan them’. Actually, the truth is that I feel so much love, respect, proud and affection for Choi Seunghyun, Dong YoungBae, Kwon Jiyong, Kang Daesung and Lee Seunghyun 💛💙💚❤💜

So, yes. I’ll stay at this damn flower-rollercoaster-road... waiting, until we meet again… To quote the worldwide hashtag: WhateverItTakes 💪

From a former VIP

I’ve been gone a a while - 7 years I think. Life happens, and my life in the past years changed a lot. I changed a lot. The last “era” I was active was Fantastic Baby, so needless to say, I’ve been missed out a lot, I think. So I don’t wanna call myself a dedicate VIP anymore, even though, deep down, I know I am still a VIP.

Even though I’ve been gone, I still occasionally listened to BIGBANG songs. Their musics never disappointed me, and never will. I knew about BANG BANG BANG & Flower Road. I knew about GD’s Untitled. I didn’t follow every single news / rumors / whatsnot about them anymore. But I still knew about TOP’s “scandal”, Taeyang’s wedding (who would have thought, but he really got married first!), GD’s rumored girlfriend(s), (and why Daesung love life is still a mystery???). And of course, Seungri’s betrayal.

I just had a long holiday with the goal doing nothing but rest & relax (because I had a hard time at work lately), and for some reason, I started watching all BIGBANG clips. I watched more of the old ones, those I knew by hearts the contents. And some brand new videos (to me). The more I watched, the more I felt myself being back to those days when I was a dedicate VIP. And I truly feel hurt, for where all VIPs are right now, including me.

Why do I call it “betrayal”, not “scandal”, because to me, it is betrayal. What I read was so true, “he may have single-handed destroyed the BIGBANG legacy”. I watched BIGBANG’s legendary performance in MKMF 2007 and 2008. I watched how Jiyong & Taeyang talked about their dreams & passions for musics. Then particularly which was brought up and spread so fast these days, I watched how Jiyong and Seunghyun were so worried about “Seungri’s circle” and how he drifted away from the passion for musics. It’s true that since GD, Taeyang, TOP and Daesung, they have their own foundation and career now, so it’s not like we won’t see them anymore. But we might never see BIGBANG anymore. That is what I can’t stop thinking.

I was gone, but I have a promise with some of the fellow VIPs that I was very lucky to befriend with, that when BIGBANG came back as 5 and do a concert in Seoul, I will join them. I attended 1 BIGBANG concert and 1 GD concert, but not in Seoul, and since I knew how wonderful it felt to be at their concert, I made a promise to myself and my VIP friends that I would join a Seoul concert with them. Now, that might never happen? I don’t know how they will sing BIGBANG songs again without him? Technically, they can, but, do you think they will? 

I can’t help but wonder that Jiyong thinks. He’s getting skinnier and skinnier than I can imagine (yes I am a GD stan, and will forever be so). He cried during Yongbae’s wedding, and that really warmed my heart (because I also stan GDYB, and forever will do so as well). So he’s still the emotional shit I remembered. I don’t hope for him to feel ok, because I know it’s not. I just hope, or actually, a bit...anxious? to listen to his next songs. How much heartbreaking they will sound?

The fact that Seungri immediately left the entertainment industry, it said everything. Personally, I thanked him. Because at least, eventually, he still thought of, and thought for, BIGBANG. 

I’ve been replaying Lies & Haru Haru for the whole day, and I just feel...sad, you know.

I think it's sometimes easy for people like you who stan Jiyong to make pronouncements about how fans of DaeRi should or shouldn't feel when you'll never really understand where so much of the bitterness and anger comes from because it doesn't hit you the same way. It's not just about comparing numbers but the totality of mistreatment that has come from YGE, the public, and - perhaps most disappointing of all - from within the fandom itself.

Okay, well first of all I want to say that, while Jiyong is my bias, I am a fan of Seungri and Daesung both as members of BIGBANG and as solo artists. While I may not feel exactly the same about them as those for whom they are biases, I care a great deal about their well-being and their success. Having Jiyong as my bias doesn’t mean that I don’t care just as strongly about the others. Do you exclusively care about your bias? Do you only hope for the success and happiness and health of your bias? It might not hit me the same way, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hit me at all.

Second of all, Seungri and Daesung stans have been supportive of that post. And regarding Daesung stans, I owe my perspective on Daesung’s solo career to @daesungindistress, who, along with many other Daesung stans, has been very vocal about how focusing on the injustice Daesung has faced at the hands of YG has caused many VIPs to minimize or disregard his achievements in Japan.

As regards Seungri’s treatment, I do think he has been underappreciated and it does make me angry. But as I’ve said, you would be hard-pressed to find a member of YG who hasn’t been poorly managed, poorly promoted, or poorly treated at some point. Obviously the prevalence of this treatment doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be called out – it should. We need to be loud when it comes to our displeasure with the treatment of YG artists, even when it seems like our complaints are going unheard. As such, I don’t think it’s fair to suggest that only Seungri and Daesung have suffered under YG. As I’ve said recently, even Jiyong has had his struggles, especially (but not exclusively) in his predebut days. 

I want to reiterate what I said in an earlier post, which is that I think a lot of VIPs downplay how poorly GDYB were treated in the years before the others joined YG. I also think that VIPs often disregard how dangerous and unhealthy it was for Seunghyun to lose so much weight in such a short amount of time on YG’s behest. YG’s ultimatum regarding Seunghyun’s weight, to me, remains one of YG’s worst transgressions against a member of BIGBANG. It’s easier to acknowledge Seungri’s mistreatment because we’re seeing it in real time. It’s easier to gloss over Jiyong, Youngbae and Seunghyun’s mistreatment because we heard about it after the fact. The members of BIGBANG have all suffered at the hands of YG, albeit to varying extents. While I think it’s undeniable that in the past few years, Seungri has been the one who has received the worst treatment, I think it’s wrong to suggest that only those who bias Seungri or Daesung understand the frustration and anger toward YG. I am angry at YG on behalf of all the members. I am angry at YG on behalf of all YG artists, even the ones I don’t stan. They have all experienced great injustice, and injustice always upsets me even when it doesn’t personally affect me.

As regards the public, other than Youngbae, every member of BIGBANG has suffered. There were petitions urging Jiyong to commit suicide and you’re going to tell me I don’t understand what it’s like for my bias to be hated by the public? Trust me. I know. But regardless, as a VIP, you know what? Hurtful comments about the other members of BIGBANG affect me just as much as hurtful comments about Jiyong. I’m as angry when I see negative comments about Seungri as I am when I see negative comments about Jiyong. I love and care about all five of them very much. I don’t know what having a bias is like for you, but for me, what it means is that I relate better to Jiyong. That I connect best with his artistry and his personality. What it doesn’t mean is that I value him more. What it doesn’t mean is that I am somehow incapable of empathizing with or caring about the other members. When it comes down to it, I’m a VIP first and a Jiyong stan second.

I don’t begrudge anyone their anger or frustration over the mishandling of Seungri’s solo career and the lack of respect shown to him. I’m angry and frustrated too. My argument was that we shouldn’t let our anger and frustration prevent us from fully appreciating all that Seungri has accomplished. My argument was that Seungri has done very well, and I think it’s more supportive to celebrate his achievements than to minimize them, than to be disappointed that they aren’t as big as Jiyong’s. 

It’s supportive to say that Seungri deserves the same level of success as Jiyong. And it’s supportive to work hard as a fan to try to help him reach that level of success. It isn’t supportive to be disappointed by the reception to a very successful album just because it wasn’t as successful as you’d hoped. I hope Seungri’s upcoming album sells very well. I hope he has a huge title track and lots of music show wins and perfect all kills on charts, the whole she-bang. That being said, if his comeback is hugely successful, but still not quite as successful as Jiyong’s, what sort of response do you think I should have? Should I hype up his achievements and celebrate his success? Or should I make angry posts saying ‘I can’t believe y’all let Seungri flop’? What do you think would make him happier, make him feel better about himself?

Also, for what it’s worth – if Seungri outsells Jiyong, I will be delighted for him and so, so, so proud of him, even though he’s not my bias. Because I’m a VIP, and I support all of them. And if Seungri doesn’t outsell Jiyong, I will still be delighted about his comeback and so, so, so proud of him. Because that’s what being supportive looks like.

Are you guys surprised? I totally tricked everyone with this one. I know I never talk about him and everyone’s minds must be blown right now, but he is my number one everything in life. I love him heart and soul and I’m so proud of everything he’s accomplished. Did you see his swag?

2. Byun Baekhyun (Exo)

That’s right. I said Baekhyun. Get back in your lane Minseok. Stop glaring at me Kyungsoo. (I am actually such a hoe for exo. I love them all, but I’ll keep claiming Baek as my main and deny any others)

3. Yoo Kihyun (Monsta X)

This dude. This dude came out of nowhere and creeped his way up to Yoongi’s second in command in my heart. Now that I think about it, it’s suspicious. They’re even friends. Somethings going on here. Also, he likes to do the same cold guy persona, but the only thing he’d actually kill you over is leaving dishes in the sink. Anyway, stan Monsta X you fools. 

4. Lee Jinki (SHINee)

My Jinki, my Onew, my Dubu. My love for him is rivaled only by his love for chicken. His voice brings me to tears, and the sun gains strength from his smile.

5. Choi Seunghyun (Big Bang)

My Bingu. This precious nugget will always have a place in my heart. How can one person be so goofy and sophisticated at the same time? 

6. Kim Fucking Heechul (Super Junior)

Lemme tell y’all a little story. So about a million years ago, I was innocently browsing for a recipe on youtube. My mom wanted me to bring Gaji Namul to some party she was having and I had never cooked eggplant in my life. Suddenly, it suggests I check out a video by some new group in Korea called Super Junior. Back then, I was purely hip-hop/rap biased. Unless you were Tupac Shakur, gtfo. I was bored though, so I thought, “Why not.” That was the beginning of the end for me. Twins by super junior started to play in all of its cheesy glory, and suddenly there was a man with red anime-style hair, and I couldn’t take my eyes off of him. I went to google because I just wanted to know their names...

7. Mark Tuan (GOT7)

This is another group where I love them all but feel obligated to choose one (who am I kidding, that’s all my groups) so I chose Mark. Jackson sometimes pokes his head in and Youngjae is an angel that deserves the world. (Actually, can I pick Mark’s dad? He’s cool af)

8.Yook Sungjae (BTOB)

This whole group is made up of the funniest people on the planet, but Sungjae is my main. He’s so freaking gorgeous. I’m so whipped for him I even stan his cat.

9. Lee Hongbin (Vixx)

Vixx is yet another group where I love every single member, but I have a special place in my heart for Hongbin. I could go on about how much I love and adore him, but my hand is starting to get tired. Stan Vixx you fools!

That’s right. Amber is in my top 10. She’s the total package. She’s hot and hilarious and if you don’t stan her you need to reevaluate your life decisions.

I thought it was...different? and I was scared of change lmao. like a year later I realized bigbang’s loser was amazing (I loved youngbae’s voice, still do) so I listened to that on repeat for like two weeks. then I learned all their names and faces, decided that big seunghyun was my bias, and listened to his doom dada on repeat for like a month. a few months later I found bts and well here I am now~

First Kpop Song? Stand by Me by SHINee, boys over flowers was what brought me into kpop lol

Favourite Kpop Album/Single? hands down the MADE album, i can listen too it all day long.

Favourite Kpop Ship? I ship them with anyone who treats them right and that they love. but if i have to say an actual ship it would be Nyongtory.

Hard Stan or Soft Stan? I’m not sure what I am lol

Favourite Kpop company? I mean do i really have to pick a company? I feel like they are all shit and only care about money and not the well being of their artists. I guess based off of the artists on my phone being from YG I would have to say that one.

Backstory of how you got into Kpop Basically I was really into jdramas, after finishing the hana yori dango series i found out about the korean version. i got hooked and fell in love with the OST and kpop.

So for a couple of groups all the members are my bias wreckers, so I’ll just go with the one that’s been catching my eye a little more than the others for the past few days. And groups that i like but am not actively stanning, I’ll just put my bias.

EXO: Kim Jongin is my bias, and Do Kyungsoo is holding the ‘bias wrecker of the week’ title.

BTS: Kim Namjoon and Min Yoongi are my biases( I couldn’t pick one), and Jung Hoseok is holding the ‘bias wrecker of the week’ title as well.

GOT7: Jackson Wang is my bias, and I’m 90% positive that I’ve chosen Choi Youngjae as my bias wrecker. It took me a while to figure out who my bias wrecker for this group was, but I’m pretty positive that it’s Youngjae.

SHINee: Lee Taemin is my bias with Lee Jinki as my bias wrecker.

NCT: Mark Lee and Johnny Seo are my biases, and Lee Donghyuck and Lee Jeno are my bias wreckers (they’re so cute!!)

[Ask] The unanswered question: Is Seunghyun in a romantic relationship with Kim Gavin or not? Are the rumors true or false?

I honestly don’t know. I’m tired at this point top is so damn vague and doesn’t share properly so because he’s severely private I can never tell. Contrary to antis beliefs I am not analyzing this man and following him like that. Some anons know more about him these days than I know. 

The rumors are not false in terms of him spending time with her and being close. but dating...idk. but I’m tired. stanning him is tiring really cause lets pretend he committed suicide, we’d never be able to piece the pieces together cause of how vague this all.
