A thought that always stuck with me is the fact that Castiel’s betrayal in season 6 actually made sense because what else was he suppose to do? Dean was acting like working with Crowley was such a big offense but they would have to have worked with the demon anyway.
If Sam and Dean were told what was going on in heaven immediately, nothing else would’ve worked besides gathering souls from Purgatory because they were fighting AN ARCHANGEL.
I know Dean was more angry at the fact that Castiel spied on them but the plan between Crowley and Cas was intelligent ass hell and probably x5 better than what Sam and Dean ever could’ve thought of.
A soul bomb, no need for sacrifices or angering power entities, no deaths besides the enemy side, all in all a really good plan.
Sure the Leviathan’s wouldn’t have been released and maybe Crowley would’ve betrayed them and used that power for control. But the plan was flawless and then Dean (no offense) had to ruin it. And I know Dean’s actions was justifiable because he was being spied on after defending that man but seriously what else was Cas suppose to do.
The only thing I blame him for was pulling Sam out of the cage and not telling anyone, that was a horrible mistake he tormented Sam to. Like he knew Sam didn’t have a soul and didn’t try to do anything about it.

Possibly a big ask to get just out of the blue but: what are your Supernatural season opinions? Which one is your favorite? Least favorite? Did you watch long enough to have showrunner opinions? If yes, which showrunner is your favorite and which is your least favorite? If no, which season that you haven't seen most tempts you to get back in the Supernatural trenches? Answer exactly as many of these questions as you want to. Carry on.
You know, I am not sure how long this Ask has been sitting here, because my Tumblr notifications are borked -- I hope not long? If long, I apologize, I wasn't ignoring it on purpose!
Okay, so I have more than the average number of Supernatural opinions, probably, but I'll try to keep this to a dull roar! Inside Me There Are Two Wolves: one of them believes that only the original five seasons of Supernatural are worth defending in any way, the other really, really loves seasons 11 and 12. The Kripke Era had a lot of problems, particularly in its treatment of women as bodies without agency and its treatment of Black men as literal predators, but also for all its flaws, it had a kind of coherence and narrative drive that comes from being the product of a dude who obviously cared about it and had something to say. Taken on its own, seasons 1-5 are a brutal and compelling story about the traumas of being men in a universe that's been absolutely destroyed by its Fathers: on almost every level, it's about these abandoned and brutalized boys discovering that their entire reality is the product of an abandoning and brutalizing God, populated by authority figures who are universally demanding and arrogant, but also completely fucking useless. It's quite literally about Sam and Dean trying to hang onto their souls and their own agency when everyone around them wants them forced into shapes formed by conflicts that fell into place at the beginning of time. It's hard to remember, but back then even the Lucifer plotline was about that! It was about the damage fathers inflict on sons! Things were about things, in the Kripke era!
Then we get to the Gamble era, and. Woof. I actually -- don't hate 6 and 7? Like everything Sera Gamble touches, those two seasons are kinetic and memorable and funny and weird and hit some really, really great emotional beats. There are Some Problems, but Gamble was saddled with a pretty dire job, trying to find a way forward after everything about the series really had effectively wrapped up in Swan Song, and I think she did an okay job. People got mad at her for killing Castiel, but you know, damn, I give her this: that was a storyline. Like, this character who was fresh out of the cult he was raised in becoming disillusioned by how messy normal life is and deciding that maybe people need better authoritarianism instead -- the way he's driven to take too many risks by the fact that he's abandoned and desperate -- Crowley as a legitimately scary villain while still being charming af -- and the tragic resolution of Castiel being torn apart by both his hubris and his heroism. It's actually really good. I understand why people didn't want what Gamble was serving up -- and I'm able to like it because it was undone later, you know? -- but she really did commit to a full season of character arc and saw it all the way through to an earned ending, and I gotta respect that.
I genuinely hate seasons 8 and 9. I think everyone is a dick, particularly but not exclusively Dean, to the point where I just find it a bummer to watch. I mean, you get Benny, and I love Benny. You get, I dunno, bits and bobs of decent episodes, but overall they are very fucked up seasons in my opinion. So Carver era is on thin fucking ice with me, but I do think you start to get a rebound in season 10 with the Mark of Cain stuff, although I wish they'd managed to keep Cain around longer. All the really good Claire stuff starts happening, which is nice because Claire, but also because for once the show is really letting itself go back and deal with the mess these protagonists leave behind them constantly. Castiel and Claire have maybe the most interesting non-Winchester relationship on the show. Oh, and Rowena shows up around here too, right? Love her. So the back half of Carver, 10 and 11, are starting to really gain traction for me. The world is building outward, secondary characters are starting to be genuine characters in their own right, the politics of Heaven and Hell get a little richer and more interesting. The show is really starting to feel like it takes place in a universe, which is great because we love the Frigging Winchesters, but they shouldn't be the only thing going, right? We have 15 seasons to get through! Season 11 is basically bracketed by what are probably my two favorite Supernatural episodes: Baby and Don't Call Me Shurley. (I think I'm the world's only living Metatron fan; I fucking love that little dude.)
Dabb takes over in 12, and I really, really, genuinely love season 12. I fucking love Mary. There are so many episodes I adore -- Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox is a special favorite of mine, and I remain pissed off that the Banes twins never made it to recurring status, bluntly that feels wildly racist to me -- probably the best three-episode streak in the show is Lily Sunder Has Some Regrets to Regarding Dean to Stuck In the Middle (With You), three just almost perfect episodes. So I was poised to really love the Dabb era. I wanted to! My body was ready!
And I do really love the first chunk of season 13, the Widow Winchester arc. Obviously I'm a romantic, love that for me, but it's just also really good? The acting, the writing, the psychological complexity of Dean wanting Jack to be Bad so he has an outlet for his anger and Sam wanting Jack to be Good so he can retroactively parent himself and raise a Lucifer-tainted child who isn't crippled by self-loathing. Billie's great, and it looks like she's going to start being one of the major powers of the universe. Unfortunately -- with the occasional exception of this or that solid episode -- that's kind of the end of Pretty Good Supernatural. Season 13 kind of unravels; season 14 always feels like it's looking for itself (which is a bummer, because I wanted very much to care about Michael); season 15 is, idk. Idk about any of it, it's all pretty pointless. I feel bad complaining on some level, because the show's been on for like fourteen years at this point! It's kinda justified in feeling a little worn out. But the reality is that the later seasons systematically undo all the expansion that had excited me earlier -- the Wayward Sisters crew pretty much vanishes when the spinoff isn't picked up, Naomi and the angels stop doing anything, Crowley's gone, Mary's gone for much of it. We're just kind of futzing around with monsters who don't seem to matter (very much including Lucifer, who hasn't mattered in ages) and a lot of Jack, who. I try not to shit all over, because I know he's a popular character, but I find him just ungodly boring. Everything in the last two and a half season just feels like it's headed nowhere in particular, and also it bored me. The Empty deal is just sadness porn; it doesn't have any resonance or meaning in terms of Castiel's character, it's just him agreeing to die for his kid, which is okay, it means he's a loving dad, which he is, but there's no conflict there, ergo no real drama. It's just mean; it happens because it'll make us sad, and no other reason. Rowena is the only strong secondary character left, and her ending also doesn't feel particularly relevant to her, it's just a generic Sacrifice to Save the World. Everything just feels like they're autogenerating plotlines, rather than letting the actual needs and drives of the characters shape the narrative. So while I have this weird split personality with Carver where I either hate what he's doing or I love it, most of the Dabb era is just. There. It doesn't make me feel anything except kind of tired and embarrassed. Which is a bummer, because I have an inexplicable fondness for Dabb, probably just because of how much I love s12. I wanted to love his seasons! I did love his first season! I feel like maybe something happened when the CW rejected Wayward Sisters? I know that was kind of his darling, and it feels like maybe losing that kind of sucked the joy out of him, and he's kind of checked-out by the end. That's genuinely just my guess, however.

pick 10 ships without reading the questions.
I have more than 10 ships to list lol 😂 but i will pick some of my all time favorites and i will add some new
1. Aziraphale/ Crowley (Good Omens)
Tumblr media
2. Edward Nygma / Oswald Cobblepot ( Gotham)
Tumblr media
3. Dean Winchester / Castiel ( Supernatural)
Tumblr media
4. Villanelle/ Eve ( Killing Eve)
Tumblr media
5. Merlin / Arthur ( BBC Merlin)
Tumblr media
6. Will Graham / Hannibal Lecter ( Hannibal tv series)
Tumblr media
7. Barry Allen / Iris West ( The Flash)
Tumblr media
8. Ray Palmer / Nora Darhk ( Legends of Tomorrow)
Tumblr media
9. Ava Sharpe / Sara Lance ( Legends of Tomorrow )
Tumblr media
10. Yennefer / Geralt ( The Witcher )
Tumblr media
1. Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 6?
I don't remember exactly from which episode but there was a scene where Hannibal got really close to Will and started to smell him 😄 this was really intense
2. Have you ever read a FanFiction about 2?
More than 100 i think 😂 is one of these ships i have read the most fanfics
3. Has a picture of 4 ever been your screen saver/profile picture/tumblr?
Yes and i have a sideblog about Killing Eve @lovemesomevillanelle too many fandoms to have them all in one blog 😄
4. If 7 were to suddenly break-up today, what would your reaction be?
You hit a sensitive spot here , i consider myself new to the Flash fandom its only a few months since i discovered this show but i noticed that there are a lot haters of this ship and some fans even made recist comments about Iris and the actress who plays her, i would be devastated if these two break up because they are perfect for each other and i will forever support their relationship @sweetbarryallen is my flash sideblog
5. Why is 1 so important?
Its been a year since Good Omens series came in our lifes well the book is much older but the series had such a huge success, i still can't get over these two lovable idiots who love each other since the beginning of time this ship gives me hope and warms my heart with all kinds of feelings
6. Is 9 a funny ship or a serious ship?
Both? these two amazing women are made for each other and i totally enjoy their serious and funny moments the same amount
7. Out of all of the ships listed, which ship has the most chemistry?
I guess the success of a ship and the reason a duo or a couple is shipped from the fans has to do with the chemistry the actors bring to the screen but there were a lot of cases where fanfiction writers created such a great stories for the readers to make them ship even characters who had limited interaction on the screen and that's the power of imagination, to me all the ships have chemistry
8. Out of all of your ships listed, which ship has the strongest bond?
I would say Ineffable husbands because the know each other since forever , who can beat that ?😂
9. How many times have you read/watched 8’s fandom?
DC's Legends of Tomorrow is a new show for me i managed to watch all Seasons till 4th as i write this in almost a month , before i reached S3 where Nora makes her appearance i had seen/ read some spoilers that she and Ray would end up together, Ray Palmer is my most favourite character from lot and when i found out about this ship i was so happy because he deserves all the love and so does Nora Darhk. Nora is such a great written character her development to the show is one of the best. You can guess my reaction when i also found out that the actors who play these characters are married in real life , this ship is everything and to answer this question i have searched about this ship too many times to count but i wish there were more fan videos of DarhkAtom on the internet
10. Which ship has lasted the longest?
I think Aziraphale and Crowley because of the years since the book published and there were fans of this ship even then, second ship who lasted longest is Destiel because of the years Supernatural has on screen
11. How many times, if ever, has 2 broken up?
If you are a Gotham and nygmobblepot fan then you know all about this ship's love and hate relationship , these two crazy idiots almost kill each other but they can't live without each other
12. If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 2 or 8?
Both? i think Ray Palmer with his atom suit abilities and Nora with her magic have more chances to make out alive though i wouldn't underestimate Ed's and Os's surviving skills in times of danger, they are both so clever and cunning that i am more concerned about zombies well being than the two of them 😂
13. Did 5 ever have to hide their relationship for any reason?
Merlin and Arthur never become canon but to the fans Merlin and Arthur have feelings for each other , they hide their feelings since they know each other i wish this ship was canon on screen
14. Is 4 still together?
Killing Eve season 3 delivered this year the best finale in my opinion of all seasons , Villanelle and Eve have feelings for each other that's canon now and i hope in S4 they will live and work together as a couple
15. Is 3 canon?
Not for the writers still not canon but the fans with me included we hope before the show ends completely the writers stop this torment and give us what Destiel fans are praying for years , our ship to become canon
16. If all 10 ships were put into a couple’s Hunger Games, which couple would win?
This is hard, i don't know i guess all have their chances to win " may the odds be ever in your favor" lol
17. Has anybody ever tried to sabotage 10’s ship?
Jaskier ? Lol 😂😂😂 truth is that Yennefer is my favourite character from the show the Witcher but Jaskier is also my favourite and i may ship Yennefer with Geralt but since i got to this fandom is hard not to notice the chemistry between Geralt and Jaskier 😄 love both ships the same
18. Which ship would you defend to the death and beyond?
All i can't pick one
19. Do you spend hours a day going through 1’s tumblr page?
YES 😂
20. If an evil witch descended from the sky and told you that you had to pick one of the ten ships to break up forever or else she´d break them all forever, which ship would you sink?
Ahhh this is so hard i can't choose sorry
Tagging some lovely people @penguinsheart , @mishandjen-tellmehow , @vicarious-rebel , @its-all-ineffable , @ramblingsofachristiannerd , @littlehollyleaf , @jawnlockwinchester , @thisplacehaseverything , @littleangel4996 @your-mad-tea-party-blog @itotallygazeatscully, @belle82devart @skatle-skootle-demon-noodle @lesbian-and-useless @quakerlasss, @whitecrawace and everyone who see this post and wants to do this

Liveblog
Man Emblue Sparks did their own art! How can I top this?
His beloved Imperium Innocentia never ceased to fill him with wonder, and yet as of late, he'd begun to feel a worrisome unease when visiting. The loyal ferrymen were paid handsomely to usher his precious souls from there to the shores of Elysium and Asphodel Meadows. Neither Castiel nor Gabriel had reported any bumps in the proverbial road, so that couldn't be the source.
               To be honest I am rather confused.
The realm was fiercely protected by thousands of wardings and enchantments. His rambunctious rescues were all squeals and delight as their tender souls regained the sweet innocence lost, as was the realms purpose. However, when visiting recently, his grace sensed...not a presence really, but a watchfulness. As if some all seeing eye was casting itself upon it.
So a place in the Scottish highlands is the first circle of hell where all the unborn or unbaptized babies are? Wait Crowley has GRACE? So confused.
Perhaps she'd care for some tea..or Craig? No, no scotch wouldn't do, how would that appear? Lovely to make to your acquaintance. May I invite you into my home for strong spirits on a whim?
I mean I wouldn’t say no, but I am drunk so what are you going to do.
He'd longed to ask her why she felt so familiar. Why in her presence he felt they might have been from another time altogether. A far away memory tiptoed on the edges of recollection just out of his mind's reach. Crowley would spend untold hours in contemplation, opening his mind in hopes the memory in which he sought might emerge from its shy shell and present itself. Alas, to his disappointment, none had stepped forward to claim that missing piece of neurological real estate thus far.
Wow, this is some kind of poetry.  Okay there are some major spoilers so I won’t post any more for this chapter. But I want to read more. There are like layers here man.
Chapter Two Notes: Because I cannot abide the logic surrounding Eileen's absence in the finale. Every actor is entitled to their opinion, as are we, the fans. Though I disagree with Jared, I'll defend his right to express his thoughts. But seeing as how this is my interpretation of this pairing, I'm giving Sam and Eileen this ending I feel they deserved because this handling of the finale among other things had me livid.
               Ooops, I have not watched the last season. Oh well.
And yet for Sam, the fates had been so unkind. For as his son grew and garnered a beautiful life of his own, one he happily shared with none other than Castiel Fitzgerald, his memory of Eileen began to fade. Once Dean Jr had realized it was happening, he'd prayed.
               Dean Jr. and Castiel Fitzgerald are together and Sam is losing his memories.  Bittersweet!
"Dean is well, although he misses you. We're happy, he and I. Eileen as well. I've heard your son's prayers. He fears you'll forget her due to your memories' condition. You sustained many concussions throughout your life. She grows..blurry for you, does she not?"
               Yeah Sam got hit in the head a lot!
Without warning, Jody walks into his home.
"Saam?"
He turns his head, stunned. She shouldn't be even be driving anymore let alone-
"Yo!"
Anybody home?" Claire and Kaia both called out as they too enter.
               Aww I love these girls. Imagine Old Jody still kicking ass and filled with sass.
"Let's get this party started," Jody suggested, busting a bottle of Johnny Walker Black label from her oversized old lady purse.
               YES!
Chapter 3  It wasn't the first time he'd watched Dean Winchester sleep, nor would it be the last. But he'd paid close attention when overhearing the very true sentiment expressed, "It's just creepy." Since then he'd taken extra precautions not to make the seraph's mistake.
               So it’s Dean and someone not Cas.
Dean was as tenacious as any demon,
               It’s Crowley!
They'd had a deliciously rambunctious role in the proverbial hay with triplets earlier that evening.
               Yeah I knew they had an orgy!
He began slowly pulling his hand back, so slowly in fact, he hoped it would go unnoticed. However, before it left the warmth of Dean's skin, he felt Dean pointedly grab his hand.
               Wow. Yeah. That’s the good stuff.
Chapter 4: You got the job?! Awesome! Well, I knew you would. You're an outstanding accountant," Kevin glowed at his best friend Aaron, whom he'd helped land a position at the same company he worked at.
               WOOT KEVIN! I love Kevin. And Aaron.  I can see it.
Kevin had found an outstanding job at "Write Your Own Story," a place kind of like Total Rekall, only no memory sorcery involved. His friend Claire and her wife Kaia had inherited a typewriter from a long lost uncle...Megatron or something like that. They discovered its magic and sought to use it for good but also a career. It was gaining steam, paid the bills, but barely out of the beta phase.
               Nice! I dig all of this.
Over the next few weeks business boomed with the coming holidays. People wanted to write those they loved beautiful dreams as gifts. And as Kevin discovered, it was all the ink.
               I would love to give someone good dreams.
Get out. I can’t believe you would do something like this. And you used a sacred holiday too..ya know what? Nevermind, I'm late for service, make sure you're not here when I get back."
               Oh NO!
Chapter 5: "We all missed you and mourned you. Just because we'd just met didn't mean we hadn't looked forward to welcoming you into our little family," Jody declared to Kaia as they pulled out from the bunker and started their five hour journey plus change back to Souix Falls.
I have not watched season 15, did Kaia and Claire get a reunion? I think I remember hearing something about Jody and Kaia. How sweet if she got to bring her home.
"I'm not gonna intervene with you two beyond this, but hearing from Sam all these years about how Dean and Cas keep dancing around each other,
               Poor Sam
"It's really you…" the golden lightning in a bottle whispered before slamming into her, squeezing so hard her eyeballs almost popped out.
               Nice
Chapter 6 Sam's crushed on the martial arts instructor at the Men of Letters Academy for a year and finally finds an opportunity to do something about it.
               I don’t know what this is.
Sam Winchester had been working at the Letters Academy for all of one year as a Professor of Supernatural History and Lore. Dean had graduated ten years prior and was a field agent with a partner of the celestial variety, Castiel. Sam preferred employment on the educational side of operations and prepared his students well, heavily arming them with the knowledge of what was out there and how to effectively neutralize it, if necessary.
               Cool. I am down for this
The instructor had joined the academy's faculty the same time as Sam and to say he had a crush on the guy was putting it mildly. His name was Gadreel, and like Dean's partner,
               Man they would make a mightily tall couple.
"Heard Max Banes is working through the ranks of Tai Kwon Do pretty fast. Aces all the tests and assignments in my class. Seems pretty motivated.." Sam tossed out for conversation.
               Before Covid I was doing pretty well with Taekwondo. I have not kept up.
"Those are effective, until knocked out of your hand or your mag runs out. Come by sometime, I'll show you some stuff..if you want."
               Yeah Ill show you some stuff too. In my pants!
"Private lessons I see, Gadreel. I'd no idea they were on the table. Perhaps we can come to some..arrangement." Sam looked up to see Arthur Ketch standing in the doorway aiming a lascivious grin at Gadreel.
               EWWW. Can we say creepy
It had Sam considering the length of his wingspan.
               Wingspan… Sure

I've watched season 11 again, and I have a question if you're willing to answer. In season 5, Cas was very disappointed about learning God was basically a "dead beat dad," as Dean called it. But when Cas had an opportunity to talk to Chuck, he didn't seem all that interested in talking to him or even asking a question or two. Why do you think they never had Cas interact with Chuck as a son talking to his father when it was such a huge deal for Cas in season 5?
Hi there! I’m happy to talk about this, because honestly I was personally GLAD that Cas treated Chuck the way he did in s11.
(A/N: I was halfway through writing this when my power went out last night, so now that everything is back on I’m gonna see if I remember wtf I was even talking about... if this goes sideways halfway through, blame Potomac Edison)
Cas had already realized long before exactly who and what Chuck was. I mean, not that Chuck was actually God, but that God and “His Plan” was always a load of BS.
Chuck left the angels a lot of conflicting information, and not a lot in the Free Will and Critical Thinking arena. I was just thinking about season 6, and this sort of feeds into a lot of the same distinction between Cas and the rest of the angels. My personal line of thinking earlier this evening was this line in 6.20:
CASTIEL I'm doing this for you, Dean. I'm doing this because of you. DEAN Because of me. Yeah. You got to be kidding me. CASTIEL You're the one who taught me that freedom and free will -- DEAN You're a freakin' child, you know that? Just because you can do what you want doesn't mean that you get to do whatever you want!
Major Tangent Warning, because I gotta write out what I was thinking earlier in order to explain why I am So Pleased with Cas and his reaction to Chuck in s11, which I think of as abject disdain. This is key to everything Cas had learned, to all of his growth as a person up to that point.
What Dean tells Cas here is in direct contradiction to what Raphael’s self-stated motive in restarting the apocalypse was. Also from 6.20:
RAPHAEL You rebelled - against God, heaven, and me. Now you will atone. We'll start by freeing Lucifer and Michael from their cage. And then we'll get our show back on the road. CASTIEL Raphael...No. The Apocalypse doesn't have to be fought! RAPHAEL Of course it does. It's God's will. CASTIEL How can you say that?! RAPHAEL Because it's what I want. CASTIEL Well, the other angels won't let you. RAPHAEL Are you sure? You know better than anyone, Castiel. They're soldiers. They weren't built for freedom. They were built to follow.
Raphael is just doing “whatever he wants,” in the way Dean was trying to convince Cas NOT to. Because if Dean learns anything in s6, it is the cosmic cost of his own actions. Think 6.11, and the lessons he learns having to play Death for a day. As much as Dean tries to work around the Bigger Picture of the Universe, he does understand that there is a right and a wrong, and that some things are worth fighting or even dying for, but the cost might sometimes just be too great. And unleashing all the souls in purgatory on the planet seems like just a different sort of apocalyptic level of bad... like putting out a fire with a flamethrower.
Cas had to make a choice here. He’d chosen his path every step of the way, wrestled with each decision he’d had to make over the previous year leading up to that point, but he’d passed the point of no return, and his direct prayer to Chuck went unanswered, and he never got a sign whether he was doing the right thing or not.
I’ve argued in the past that he absolutely DID get a sign, in the form of Dean telling him to stop in 6.20. But Cas dismissed him, out of pride, out of hubris, out  of desperation to do the one thing he believed could give him the power to stop Apocalypse 2.0, save Heaven, and also save Dean in the process, since Dean would be back on the radar to be Michael’s vessel if Raphael succeeded in breaking him out of the Cage.
And here’s the really tangenty part of the tangent: it just made me think of all the nitwits who won’t wear a mask in public, or follow social distancing rules because MAH FREEDUMB, you’re impinging on MAH LIBERTY. BUT THE CONSTITUTION!
Because yes, we can do what we want, but we can’t do WHATEVER we want when our actions are harmful to others!
The framers of the Constitution could never have foreseen a pandemic like this. But any SOCIETY where people must coexist needs to put some constraints on liberty, and the framers absolutely DID understand this.
They also couldn’t have foreseen air travel, but we have established rules about this. They couldn’t have foreseen cars and traffic lights and interstate highways, and yet we have rules that govern our behavior there, as well. Air traffic controllers, stop signs, speed limits-- we don’t just have the right to drive 90 mph through a school zone and run through red lights. And yet nobody yells BUT MAH FREEDUMB! when they get a speeding ticket.
Polite society ALSO must include *MY* right not to be killed because someone else decided that traffic laws didn’t apply to them, see?
Basically, wear your mask and shut up about it, whiny pissbabies. This is what is required of you to live in a functioning society. You do NOT have the right to infect others with a potentially deadly illness. Full stop.
But back to Cas and the Leviathan infection he’s about to infest the entire planet with...
Dean was effectively giving him the “wear a mask, nitwit” speech, but on a cosmic level.
And Cas had to live with the consequences of his choice, with the GUILT and DEPRESSION that resulted. And he spent the next few seasons desperately trying to make up for what he’d done, to atone and do whatever he could to redeem himself-- to Dean. He’d tried to redeem himself to Heaven, but the more he eventually began to learn about Humanity, the less affinity he felt for his fellow angels, and for Chuck’s construct of Heaven.
Because back to another previous point, Chuck effectively left the angels two opposing sets of instructions: orders to watch over the earth and act as shepherds to humanity, and orders to bring on the apocalypse at any cost. Can’t do both, truly. Even Naomi will eventually say, right before Metatron stabs her in the head, that she (and the other angels) forgot that their true mission was to protect and defend humanity, and she didn’t know when or why that ever changed.
FINALLY back to the point! WHEEE!
Basically, Cas has, in the six years between s5 and s11, experienced “god-ness” from every angle, experienced his own guilt over what he now believes were misguided actions, that sometimes Humanity has a better answer, and there are some things that just aren’t worth it in the long run.
Mostly, he’s realized just HOW deadbeat Chuck has always been. And the revelation that Chuck had actually been God all along? Saw their pain and suffering at trying to STOP the apocalypse all those years before? KNEW FULL WELL that Sam, Dean and Cas were doing everything they could to try and save the world from basically the entirety of Heaven and Hell, who were plotting the destruction of humanity and most of creation with it. I mean... Cas spent s5 begging for God’s help, to save the world, to convince Michael and Lucifer that they did not have to destroy humanity, and Chuck... had done LESS than nothing. He’d sat there and ghoulishly watched the entire mess unfold like a bad tv show... oh wait... :’D
By s11, Lucifer had not reached that point that Cas had. Lucifer had many other issues, having been rejected and locked up for most of existence, and even HE had been the one in 5.22 to try and talk Michael out of enacting Chuck’s battle plan. Lucifer never had the experiences Cas did (and despite being given every opportunity to have them over the next few seasons after s11, he continues to reject those experienced at every turn anyway, only serving to highlight the difference between Cas and, honestly, most of the rest of the angels). Lucifer had a personal need for a direct apology from Chuck for everything he’d been put through-- starting with taking on the original Mark and ending with the cage.
Of course Lucifer didn’t get an honest apology, because in the end, it was all just a theoretical production to Chuck. He had never apologized, in any of his universes, to any of the beings he created. And he never would. And on some level, Cas-- via his experiences, what he himself had already come to understand about God and creation-- already understood this about Chuck.
Cas... didn’t care about him anymore. He cared about HUMANITY, about Chuck’s CREATION. The creator might be a worthless jerk, but what came out of his creation is a thing of ultimate beauty. Humanity, love, free will, and the beauty of the universe is what ends up saving the world in 11.23, so I’ve chosen to accept this read of Cas and his relationship and opinions of Chuck. Because it’s perfectly in line with the “moral” of season 11.
Plus it’s just so personally satisfying to me watching each individual character’s reactions to Chuck, and understanding how that aligns with all of their personal arcs.
Dean: brought the “how could your forsake your creation” of a broken-hearted son who has finally seen the truth. something he worked out YEARS ago between himself and his own father, so it didn’t come with that particular personal baggage and didn’t completely break him in the process (as it may have done with Cas had Chuck revealed himself, say, in 7.01...)
Sam: brought his life-long hope that God was real, his faith in God’s inherent “goodness,” did the Chuck Fanboy for a bit before seeing Chuck a lot more clearly. He was able to relinquish his idol worship of Chuck as the Savior of Humanity.
Cas: had brought his experience of Humanity and Godhood, the entire spectrum of Creation that he had experienced for himself and grown through. Cas, for all his mistakes, had never stopped TRYING to do the right thing, never stopped doing everything in his power to save humanity and creation from every cosmic threat, while Chuck himself had only hidden away and watched from the sidelines, when he’d ALWAYS had the power to make everything good and right and allow the Winchesters their peace. Honestly, what BETTER response than to treat Chuck like a bit of gum stuck to his shoe?
Metatron: who had basically spent s9 trying to turn himself into Chuck Lite, literally plagiarizing his Supernatural novels to create his own origin story as the new God, and failed miserably. What other angel could truly confront Chuck, writer to writer, and call him out for His Story? Even fallen as low as he could go, Metatron understood first-hand the responsibility of The Cosmic Author in ways even Cas couldn’t, because narrative symmetry. Metatron was always about the Word, as God’s Scribe. He was a bad copy of the original with the names scratched out. He basically wrote the worst self-insert fanfic of all time. And that gave him the narrative space to confront Chuck about everything that Cas no longer had. Cas had long since rejected that role, sided with Humanity, and smashed Chuck’s Word. The original tablet-breaker.
Crowley: carried on Crowley-ing. Doing the best he could with what he had, and somehow miraculously BS’ing his way through.
Rowena: recognized the Biggest Power in the room and ingratiated herself to it for comfort and protection, and hopefully for a bit of power and security.
Billie: gosh she just stepped in at the 11th hour to annoy Chuck. :’D
But yeah, I’ve always been incredibly pleased that Cas basically ignored Chuck in s11. Good for him.

KitKat’s Random Rewatch (part 2)
The Man Who Would Be King (6x20)
For, um. Obvious reasons.
Ahhhhh this monologue is so fucking good
“But come on, dried dung can only be stacked so high.” Cas should do a stand up routine ngl. This line is some kind of comedic genius
He looked RIGHT at the camera. I remember the first time I saw that I was like hello, this ep is going to destroy me. Spoiler alert: it did. And does.
Cas called Sam being in the cage “a great cost” and immediately went to get him. 🥺 And did he seriously imply his overconfidence gave him the strength to fight his way into the cage? Damn. Confusing, but go off I guess
“Sometimes we’re lucky enough to be given a warning. This should have been mine.” AHHHHH
Cas, come on. You’re smart enough to pick up on when Dean’s being sketchy
Dean said Satan Jr and I forgot this was season 6 for a sec and was about to get mad because that’s not a nice thing to call Jack, Dean. Um, yeah. Turns out they’re talking about Crowley lmao
I have MISSED Crowley’s shouting. He’s so dramatic.
Cas is so done with Crowley’s shit ahaha
The colors of his preferred Heaven are so beautiful
Cas being happy to see other angels will never not make me sad. He’s literally smiling so big considering it’s his s6 self ahhhh. AND THEY’RE HAPPY TO SEE HIM AND HAPPY HE’S ALIVE MY EMOTIONS HURT AHHH
“Freedom is a length of rope, and God wants you to hang yourself with it.” One of my favorite Cas quotes right there
“You never look like you’re joking.” I love Cas’s sense of humor so much. Also, Raphael, kindly stop being an asshole. We do not need to restart the Apocalypse, thanks.
When did Cas stop doing the invisibility thing? Bc that could have come in handy later. Can Jack do that?
Bobby said he doesn’t want to be right about Cas being sketchy. Aww. I wonder if Bobby would have considered Cas one of his boys like Mary did if Bobby had... you know. Lived to see Cas soften out a little bit.
‘I’d die for him, I would.” Aww, Sam.
“That makes you Lois Lane.” Did... did Dean just say Sastiel rights?
I’d be more touched about Dean defending Cas but like... after this he doesn’t ever really give him the benefit of the doubt again, so. I’m a little upsetti spaghetti.
What was up with this demon Bobby guy. He’s funny but like. This is the only time we ever saw him lol
Cassss smite them demons bby. Get em.
All of their smiles at him are so cute. And Cas is just standing there like oop
“I’m still just Castiel.” YES YOU ARE HONEY. AND WE LOVE IT.
Cas is such a bad liar but like he’s also so good at it. Buddy, you’re so complicated. Wouldn’t have it any other way <3
Protective Cas! We love to see it.
OH SHIT he slammed Crowley into the wall so hard it broke the tile. King shit, Cas.
“I’m an angel, you ass.” Another iconic line. This ep has so many.
So it IS official canon that angels don’t have souls. Well, that sure sheds a lot of painful new light on the soulless Jack situation later.
I know Dean says later that Cas could have asked him for help while he was with Lisa, but tbh I’m pretty sure if Cas had actually asked Dean would have said no. I’m in a psychology course right now, and that makes me marginally qualified to say that Dean was definitely experiencing some major hindsight bias.
What happened to Hell being an endless line? When did you stop that, Crowley? Because that would have saved Bobby and Kevin and Eileen so much unnecessary pain.
“Big bald patriarch” is now the only acceptable way to describe Samuel Campbell. That was hilarious. Thanks, Crowley.
I should also mention it’s weird to see Crowley without the beard. Does anyone else get that upon rewatch?
Did Cas actually take 50000 souls from Crowley just to throw Raphael out of his chair and make a statement? Honey, no. But also, king <3
The trap they set for him... Sam looks so sad about it. Ahh.
Okay but one of Bobby’s reasons not to trust Cas being that Bobby didn’t buy that Cas could be effectively tricked by Crowley is pretty cool. At least someone appreciates how smart Cas really is.
The Sam and Cas angst in this scene is immaculate. When Sam asks, “did you bring me back soulless on purpose?” Cas looks HORRIFIED. I don’t think we see him look that level of horrified again until... the end of 15x15 maybe? With that whole whammy Jack unloaded. Which is... wow. Much to unpack.
“I was there. Where were you?” I think we all know Dean is a little bit of a hypocrite. Because this entire season he most definitely didn’t care about Cas’s problems, and I’m pretty sure he did ask for help one time and they said no. So, you were there, but you weren’t a helping hand. You gotta practice what you preach, Dean-o
I know it was a complicated situation but leaving him in the holy fire is still pretty shitty. Come on, guys
“Get out of my sight.” I’m grinning during an intense scene because GO OFF CAS YOU TELL HIM
“The difference between you and me is I know what I am.” Crowley, kindly stop exacerbating Castiel’s self worth crisis. Please and thanks.
Does Bobby have a guest room? Where’s Sam? Why is Dean sleeping on the couch? Did he just want to? I’m sure Bobby has more comfortable places to sleep. Or maybe Bobby’s couch is just really comfy, idk
God, Dean, don’t be so rude. Don’t call Cas a child. I do not approve of this interaction.
Again, Dean. Practice what you preach.
“You’re like a brother to me.” In light of, uh, recent events, I’ll just leave this here.
Also in light of recent events, this is the second time in this episode Cas said the boys taught him free will. They taught him choice, not feelings. And it was CAS who chose to feel.
“I’m an angel. You’re just a man.” You tell him, Cas
Lmao Cas dipped out before the convo was over. Iconic.
The ending on the bench.... Cas. Sweetie. HE SAID FATHER AHHH. And he looks so SAD. Also, the way it was shot was really cool. I can’t believe I didn’t notice that before.
The way it ended with him just hanging his head. Oh, my heart.
Anyway, this episode is a 10/10 for Cas, obviously, but we’re bumping it down to 8/10 because there was such an imbalance in Dean and Cas vs. Sam and Cas interactions. Didn’t remember the show was doing that crap this early. Also, the plot of season 6 low key still doesn’t make sense to me. Oops 🤷‍♀️
HOWEVER, it did me feel slightly better during my current crisis because Cas slays in this one. So, we’re gonna count it as a win.
If you read this thing all this way through, thanks for being here lol. I hope you enjoyed my ramblings. :)

Supernatural-where do I stand?
OK, so this will probably not be seen by anybody because I don’t really understand the functioning of SM in general, and least of all, tumblr. I am a french canadian, so english is not my maternal language, which means, there will be some vocabulary and grammar errors.
So, I started watching supernatural around 2 and a half years ago in a binge tv shows period of several months where I had personal struggles, and this show somehow connected to me and stayed stocked in my mind. For probably 6 months, I sticked with the show only, which means no following actors on tweeter or IG or FB, nor seaching them or the show on google. I saw 2 brothers sacrificing everything for each other well being over and over again, even if sometimes, they fell out of line (figths between them over the view of the goodness of some monsters, them not having the same POV of how to avoid the apocalypse, trust or not the British men of letters, ect.) (14 seasons of fights, which is normal between 2 individuals, brothers or not, is so hard to summerize! I won’t even try!), the fact is that they always choose each other. Along the line, I saw a lot of side caracters who helped developing the subtlities of the personnality of those 2 main caracters: john, bobby, ellen and jo, gordon, ruby, bela, lisa and ben, castiel, adam, garth, lucifer, meg, crowley, kevin, Ezekiel/Gadreel, amelia, gabriel/trickster, benny, mary (This is not a exhautive list, I must have missed important caracters). The point is, all those secondary caracters for me have always served the goal to further the plot of sam and dean winchester, deepening their persona and explaining their bond through adversity. Then, I went to the rabbit whole of internet!!!
For the first few months, I followed the actors on their social media, and by that I mean I followed like 15 actors who had the most recurring presence on the show. Nothing shocking appeared to me from them, but I started to see in comments that there were factions in the fandom. I am a curious person, so for about a year, I explored all the theories, keeping in mind that all of it is fiction. At 36, I had never been aware of fanfiction, ships (Which I was like “ why are they talking about going at the sea or fishing!!) neither of fictional caracters or actors playing those caracters (I know now it is RPF) in this phenomenom.
One thing for sure that I have identify myself is that I am a bibros, if the meaning of bibros is that the show supernatural is, at it’s  core, the relationship of the two brothers, sam and dean, and even if you might identify with one more then the other, you still think of them as equally important to the story. After that, from what I have seen, there seems to be 2 different types of wincest shippers (I totally might be wrong on this part, let me know!). There seems to be a consensus that the brothers are each other first priority and soulmates. But while some ships that it extend to a sexual relationship, others only consider the soulmate part without the sexuality. I am of the former part. I am also very interested in the closeness that the 2 actors, jared and jensen, share. So I am very aware of the J2 tinhat (faction of the fandom who believe that Jensen and Jared are in a romantic relationship) which i still consider as theories, but alternate between believing and not.
After those identifications of myself in this  fandom, I must say, at first, I could understand the appeal of castiel, his epic entrance in the series and his importance in dean’s caracter development (can he trust him or not while he knows his brother is lying to him and trusting a demon-season 4). But, here comes the internet rabbit hole! I have to say, it was some extreme and too much present “castiel defenders” that drove me away from this caracter (I would probably have found flaws in his caracter’s development without them, but I surely would like him more). And here, let me put a distinction. I do think that there are peaceful destiel shippers who know that it is only a fandom who like the idea of cas and dean loving each other without having the need of that being explicitly shown in the serie. Like the majority (of what i have seen) of the wincest fandom believe in the love between the brothers but don’t actually need that love (the erotic part of that love) to be explicititly shown in the serie.
So, yeah, I found the existence of what is called the destihellers. For 2 years, I have just went from blog to blog, tweeter scandal to another, and from what I have seen, it is always some “make destiel canon” faction that is the starting of big drama. So that is my only “anti”, because otherwise, i believe in freedom, as long as it stays in the fandom. So after founding my multiple identification in the supernatural fandom, i have only this message to offer: ship what you want, communicate with those you identify to IN THE FANDOM but let it here, ships and theories RPF are’nt welcome when you are meeting the actual actors portraying those caracters. That is your creativity and beliefs, let the actors and writters of the show use their own creativity and knowledge of their show to build what they believe in. It is ok to be critical of their work, but in the end, you won’t win by creating drama and thinking by being annoying.
PS: I have to make a PS because I don’t want massive Hate (Like i have seen people from this fandom attesting they have receive) So I will make some tags, but feel free to tell me if it not welcome in the hashtag, or of i should some more in.

Dystopian Crossovers
A multi-fandom, multi-pairing crossover of Supernatural, Star Trek TNG, DS9, VOY, X-files, Buffy, and the Hobbit movie verse.
These are the one-shot, two-shot, short multi-chapter adventures of the small San Francisco colony of humans. After a major disaster in the 24th century, a temporal distortion occurred which destroyed Earth in the 24th century. It also fractured other dimensions such as Middle Earth causing contamination on a colossal scale.
The disaster is thought to have been caused by experiments with the omega molecule but no one could be certain. It’s also a coincidence that at the same time, dark magic on middle earth and meddling in the natural environment by a group of rogue angels and demons in the 21st century may have added to the disaster.
Whatever the cause, Earth is now a wasteland. The setting is 2018 San Francisco after the eruption of three super volcanoes (Yellowstone, Toba, and Taupo), a nuclear explosion in DC, London, and Los Angeles, and a comet strike in the middle of the Atlantic have led to a complete wasteland.
Note: there are some controversial, rare-pair and completely made up pairings and ships below. If you aren’t prepared to have an open mind, or if you plan on sending me hate of any kind, do not continue. Also note this is very, very long.
The Characters and ships
So these characters and ships are my absolute OTPs in all my favorite shows. With the exception of one crossover pairing and a few others, these are pairings which I have been into since I first saw the shows. This is especially true where Star Trek is concerned because starting with TNG, I was a trekkie since I was 3 years old. Yes, I know they are all M/F or F/M but that isn’t relevant. This is really because these are the ships that I like all in one spot. In short, this collection of stories is all about me, myself, and I. These are my all time favorite OTPs and it really comes down to personal preference: my personal preference. And because there are so many characters I had to limit it to my absolute favorites in each show.
And yes there are so many other characters I would have loved to add in here and are certainly not forgotten but I am only one person and there are a lot of characters as it is so lots of characters just didn’t make the cut. If there were 10 of me then a lot more characters and a lot more variety of m/f, f/f, and m/m pairings would be possible but there aren’t 10 of me so it is what it is.
So here are the ships:
Tumblr media
Janeway and Chakotay from Star Trek: Voyager
Picard and Crusher from Star Trek: The Next Generation
Kira and Odo from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Dean and Jo from Supernatural
Sam and Eileen from Supernatural
Crowley and Meg from Supernatural
Castiel and Hannah from Supernatural
Buffy and Angel from Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Willow and Charlie from Buffy and Supernatural
Fili and my OC Brenna from the Hobbit movie verse
Kili and my OC Asphodel from the Hobbit Movie verse
Mulder and Scully from X-files
If you request to do your own one-shots using this verse, you are welcomed to add whatever additional characters and ships you want, including OCs, but the above pairings are non-negotiable.
Also, writings for this story will be rare because again, I am only one person and when I feel inspired to write something, I will. And I won’t be going in order so there will be seasons and it will all be labeled as to what season.
Here’s the backstory for each series. Note that timelines will conflict so for character ages, refer to the seasons I have them in:
Star Trek Voyager
Takes place in season 6/7 right after the events of Unimatrix Zero
Kathryn Janeway was recovering from her experience with the Borg and being assimilated. She’d been taking a few days shore leave in the holodeck and Chakotay had joined her for a pleasant evening in Tuscany. They were having dinner when the disaster occurred and they were transported to Earth in 2018. When they arrived, they found the planet in ruin.
Star Trek Deep Space Nine
Takes place in season 5 / 6 during the battle with the Dominion
As Starfleet and the Klingons, led by the USS. Defiant, were trying to retake DS9 from the occupying dominion. Kira and Odo, their relationship strained from the events with the female shapeshifter, were trying to defend the station when they were transported to Earth in 2018.
Star Trek The Next Generation
Takes place in season 3 / 4 right after the battle of Wolf 359.
Dr. Crusher meets up with Captain Picard shortly after the events that made him Locutus. He was showing her around his brother’s vineyard in France, introducing her to his brother when the accident occurred and sent them to Earth 2018.
Supernatural
Takes place in Season 5 shortly before the accident with the hellhounds.
Instead of hellhounds, Lucifer decides to go with a new plan. Destroy the planet naturally. With a snap of his fingers, three Super volcanoes become active. Sam and Dean have only a few precious hours before their world is changed forever. First Yellowstone, then Toba in Indonesia, then Taupo in New Zealand. One by one, these volcanoes erupt, causing massive destruction, global economies to collapse, and civilization to be reduced to anarchy. Within a few short months, after terrorist organizations take advantage of the situation by dropping nuclear bombs on Washington DC and London.
In retaliation for what Lucifer did, Michael launched an asteroid at Earth, the impact in the middle of the Atlantic caused devastating tsunamis in Africa and South America.
The planet is now locked in a seemingly eternal ice age caused by the triple effect of a volcanic winter and an impact winter.
Dean, Sam, Castiel, and Jo make their way to San Francisco, the peninsula is becoming a last stand against vampires, demons, and other creatures waiting to take advantage. The whole city has been warded against demons and angels and as such, Castiel has lost his grace.
Hannah: Hannah was among the angels loyal to heaven, but she also against the apocalypse. She defied heaven to undermine Michael’s efforts, as punishment, she was dropped from heaven and forced into Caroline Johnson’s body. Caroline, whose husband was killed in the eruptions, was struggling to survive in Montana. Hannah took control of her and made her way to San Francisco.
Eileen: Eileen Leahy had already been in San Francisco when the disaster occurred. She’d arrived from Dublin to finish her studies on anthropology at San Francisco State. When the disaster occurred, she was stranded since airplanes can’t fly in volcanic debris.
Charlie: Finishing up her masters in tech in San Francisco, Charlie was also in the city when the disaster occurred. Proving to be resourceful in a crisis, she helped to use the city muni subway systems as refuge areas for displaced families.
Crowley: Crowley escaped with the Winchesters when Lucifer set of the eruptions. He loses his powers and becomes stranded with them.
Meg: Meg was supposed to send the hellhounds after the Winchesters but when she failed, Lucifer banished her and she became a rogue. Reluctantly, she was forced to join forces with the Winchesters.
X-files
Takes place in between season 5 and 6 right after the events of the movie.
After returning from their event in Antarctica, Mulder and Scully are in Washington when a nuclear bomb caused them to evacuate, barely escaping with their lives. They made it across the country to San Francisco.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Takes place shortly after Sunnydale is destroyed at the end of season 7.
After the scoobies separate, the eruptions occur and Buffy and Willow make their way to Los Angeles to team up with Angel who then goes with them to San Francisco.
Hobbit
Takes place after the battle of the five armies
When Fili and Kili are separated from the rest of the company and left to fend for themselves in Laketown while the dragon pummels the defenseless town on the lake. Fili and Kili are dealt an additional blow while, during their attempt to escape with Tauriel and the others, the brothers are separated and stranded in the town. The disaster occurs and Fili and Kili are transported to a new world- modern earth 2018 in San Francisco.
Asphodel: Asphodel Cheesewillow is a typical hobbit who, while on holiday with her parents, is separated and lost in the Old Forest. She is transported to Earth.
Brenna Norrsken: Brenna is a gnome from the far north of the Forodwaiths. Her particular race of gnomes are female dominated and she and her mother were part of a whaling crew. During a particularly difficult battle with a whale, Brenna is thrown overboard and then transported.
Seasons
Yes, I am taking prompt requests, PM me for requests. Also, I am willing to work with any number of authors and artists who are interested in doing their own one shots and short stories but please remember this is MY world and MY rules. Pretty much the only rules I have are please use the appropriate ships as defined above, and please no hardcore smut. Abstract, soft smut is fine.
Seasons 1-7: Is all about them surviving in the new world created by the disasters. The 24 of them have banded together in San Francisco, along with a group of refugees. All around their little peninsula are extreme dangers. In the rest of the world, vampires, werewolves, demons, angels, and other beings have taken over. Michael dominates parts of the planet while Lucifer dominates other parts.
Seasons 8-19: as everyone has paired off by now, a series of pregnancies occur, many of which were acts of supernatural intervention.
Season 6: Hannah has a daughter, Devorah,
Season 7: Kira has a daughter, Meru,
Season 8: Janeway has twins, Jessalyn and Jordan,

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After you pieced together the places in your head, you told Sam and Dean, and they agreed to bring you along. They knew that you were their best chance of keeping tabs on Cas. So far, you’d heard Cas and two others were taking the colt and going to kill Kelly and Dagon, and the address of where they were.
The entire time, you felt tense, dread filling your chest. The idea of Kelly and her baby dying nearly felt like your family was dying. Of course you would hate anyone doomed to die, but, for Kelly and the child...it felt close, personal. The feeling of premature grief nearly overcame you for the entire car ride, keeping you quiet most of it.
“Can you send out on that thing?’ Dean asked. “Cause if you can, tell Cas I’m gonna kick his ass.”
“Wait, Y/N, don’t. Don’t reach out. It’s better if Cas doesn’t know we’re coming, or he’ll do something stupid.”
“Oh, more stupid than stealing from us, and lying to us, Sammy?” Dean remarked, sarcasm thick in his gruff voice.
“You know what I mean. If Cas knows we’re coming he could change the plan or do something reckless.”
“Alright, fine, don’t CB over the radio then,” Dean sighed.
As the three of you drove through the night though, the course changed direction and new leads were being heard over the voices. Two angels had died, and Kelly wasn’t dead...But neither was Dagon. But now they were at a motel, and you gave Sam and Dean the name and the street, which got them close enough.
Finally, you found the motel, and you didn’t need to know which room they were in because you could feel it. You could feel the baby’s presence, its power was seeping out through the walls, calling to you.
“They’re in there,” you said, pointing to the correct door.The two men marched up to the door and knocked, to which Cas greeted them with the colt, cocked, aimed, and ready to fire.
“Yeah, that’s mine,” Dean said before he shoved Cas back into the room and pinned him against the wall. “What the hell you thinkin’, huh?”
“Dean,” Sam softly tried.
“What?!” Dean growled.
Sam and you gestured to Kelly, pregnant and scared, standing in the bathroom doorway.
“How did you find us?” Cas wondered.
“Y/N,” Dean answered. “She heard your little mission going down over the angel airwaves and tipped us off. At least she isn’t lying to us.”
“You wanna explain what’s going on here?” Sam asked.
“Yeah, I found Dagon.”
“And? Did you kill her?” Dean asked.
“No,” he answered and Dean gave him an incredulous look. “She’s difficult to kill, okay?”
“Ya think?” Dean said.
After that, the three of them discussed why Cas was there, what he was doing, and Kelly answered what his plan was.
“He’s taking me to Heaven,” she answered.
“What?” you breathed, your eyes flashing between Cas and Kelly. “No, no you can’t,” you protested.
“It’s the only way,” Cas said, trying to earn your understanding, your sympathy.
Sam protested and said it wasn’t the only way, and the two of them explained their plan to Castiel and he seemed to be onboard, when they turned to Kelly to verify that it was better than certain death but she said no.
She went to leave the room and everyone followed her out into the parking lot. Sam was trying to talk to her as you jogged behind them to keep up.
“I’m going with Castiel,” she said, finality in her voice.
“If you go with Cas, you die, your baby dies,” Sam explained.
“If I go with you, you take away the thing that makes him special,” she argued.
“How does that matter if you’re both dead?” Sam demanded.
“It’s the only thing that matters,” she assured before looking to you. “You. Who are you?” she wondered.
“I’m...I’m nobody,” you quietly said.
“No, you’re not...I’ve seen you before. He’s shown me your face,” she responded.
“He?” you asked, frowning at her.
“My child. He knows you, somehow.  You’re a woman, I’m sure you can sympathize, tell me you understand,” she begged as she grabbed your hand and put it on her stomach. At first, you felt nothing, just her round belly, but then, it overtook you, this sense of love, protectiveness, power.
You saw a man, your age, and the sight of him made you so insanely happy, it was pure ecstasy. Innately, you knew, this child had to be born. There was a reason that this man would give you warm, loving feelings.
Once your hand left her stomach, your eyes touched on each of the men, as you answered, “I do. I...I’m with you. I think the child should keep his grace and be born.”
Relief and satisfaction flooded her face as she smiled at you.
“I knew you would understand, he told me you would,” she breathed.
“Okay, am I the only one who thinks this is nuts?” Dean asked. Sam said the conversation needed to be taken elsewhere and suggested going back to the bunker so you, Kelly, and Cas went back to the Impala. Cas opened the door for Kelly and you climbed into the back, Cas joining you. Kelly mentioned something about it’s not supposed to happen this way, and before you knew it, she grabbed the keys and she stole the Impala.
“Kelly! What the hell! Turn around!” you shouted.
“No, you said it yourself, he needs his grace,” she argued.
“So then where are we going?” you wondered.
“To the sandbox. He told me that Castiel’s is the one to take care of him. He said if I followed Castiel’s plan, he will make sure he’s born.”
“How?” you asked, despite being thrilled, you were curious as to how or why he would do that.
“I don’t know, but I have faith. He chose Castiel as his father, and he chose you too.”
“To be his mother?” you asked, incredulous.
“No, he didn’t say for what purpose. He just said when he was born, he would need you,” she informed. “Sam and Dean, they want to take away his power because they’re scared, but I’m not.”
“And you shouldn’t be,” you said, squeezing her shoulder. “Look, I know you don’t even know my name, but when your baby was conceived I---I felt something. And just now, when I touched him... For some reason, he and I are connected. I think if they take his grace away it could kill me or take my power away. But somehow, he awoke angelic grace inside me too, that I had no idea existed.”
“Y/N,” Cas started, but Kelly interrupted him.
“See? He isn’t bad. Why would he give her powers if he was just going to destroy everything?” Kelly questioned. “That’s why Castiel you will guide him. You will be his source of righteousness.”
“Me? I---I--I am not someone you should put your faith in, Kelly. I couldn't kill Dagon back there. I lost two of my men, I betrayed my friends, my family.”
Kelly spoke of her past and not sure why it’s her, stating she knew all of you were destined for something great.
“I wish I had your faith. I’ll end up disappointing you. I couldn’t even train Y/N here,” he explained. “I was too obsessed with doing something good,  something right, than actually doing the right thing…”
“No, Castiel,” you tried, looking at him as you took his hand. “You’re a good person, a good angel. It’s not your fault that you got wrapped up in so much stuff. It’s a testament to your character that you were going all over the universe trying to find a solution for your friends. That speaks volumes of the type of person you are,” you said, staring into his eyes as he searched yours to see if you were telling the truth.
He gave you a soft smile, it didn’t quite reach his eyes.
“You’re too kind.”
“You're too modest,” you said with a small grin.
-------------------
By nightfall, you reached the sandbox, an angel known as Joshua was waiting. He stepped off the box to speak to Kelly, when out of thin air, Dagon appeared, scaring the living hell out of you.
“Hey, girl,” she said to Kelly, before going on to talk about the other agnels she killed, then taking a step towards Kelly. You and Cas stepped in front of her, even though you had no idea what you were doing.
“You stay away from her,” Cas warned as he raised his blade and you narrowed your gaze on her, trying to give off the vibe of intimidation, but feeling as strong as a wet noodle inside.
“What? No colt? Oh...You don’t have even have it anymore. Hilarious,” she mocked before Castiel thrust his blade at her, effectively starting a hand-to-hand fight between the two of them, Dagon winning by a long shot. By the end of it, he was badly beaten and lying on the ground.
“Castiel!” you gasped as you kneeled beside him.
“Look at him,” Dagon said, “your angelic defender. You really thought he was going to save you?”
Anger burned within you as you slowly stood to face her. “No, I am.”
“Oh, the little...what are you again? The pretend angel or something?” she asked.
“I don’t need to know what I am to know who I am,” you proudly proclaimed. “And I am not someone who watches innocent people die,” you said as you thrust your hands out and it knocked Dagon back, her feet sliding against the earth.
Surprised, you looked down at your hands, amazed where this power was coming from. Dagon stood up and wiped her mouth of the blood before marching back towards you, glowering at you.
You readied yourself for a fight that you were in no way prepared for when a truck came rumbling up and the boys hopped out of the truck, shooting at her, but she flipped them away from her easily with the flick of her hand.
“This is just...sad, really,” Dagon said as she looked at Dean, Sam, and Cas who were all down for the count. “You’ve put your life in the hands of a twenty-year old,” she noted, eyeing you as if you were an insect while Castiel made his way over to the two of you.
“I know,” Kelly said as she grabbed your and Castiel’s hands, and you happily latched onto it, signifying your unity and strength.
“I’m gonna make sure this hurts,” Dagon vowed as she walked up to you, both hands reeled back, ready to blast with power.
As Sam and Dean shouted for you and Castiel, that same light, warm, powerful feeling cascaded through your skin, filling you from within. As her arm came near you, you grabbed it, a strong, firm grip on her arm, her flaming power withering out.
“How is this possible?” she asked as he skin started to burn beneath your fingers. You focused your energy on her, all of it, thinking repeatedly that you just wanted her to go away.
“They say miracles happen,” you answered evenly before her entire body caught fire and she burned into ash before your eyes, screaming in agony.
The Winchesters got up and slowly made their way over to you.
“What...was that?” Sam asked, peering at you in a way he’d never looked at you.
“It was me...but it was also him,” you said, turning to look at Kelly’s stomach. “Dean, you’re hurt,” you said, looking at his arm and sensing the pain that was coming from him. You reached over and concentrated on his arm, thinking of his arm mending, and within a few seconds, it did. “Does that feel better?” you asked with a warm smile.
He eyed you with peculiarity, a small nod coming from him.
“Good. Thank you for coming to fight for us,” you said.
“Y/N, are you alright?” Sam inquired.
“I am. In fact, I’ve never been better. I had my doubts before but...I don’t know. I know this child must be born, with all of his power. He holds the key to many wonderful, great things,” you stated, knowing full well what you felt, and what he had shown you.
“Cas, you...do you agree with her?” Dean asked.
“I do,” he confirmed. “Y/N is right. He will be good for this world and he must have his grace.”
You smiled at your friend, happy to hear him on your side.
“We must go,” you said and Castiel agreed, nodding. The three of you started to walk away before Sam tried to stop you.
“We’re not gonna just let you two walk away, not after what that thing did you,” Dean informed.
“Yeah, that’s not going to happen,” Sam said, backing his brother up.
“Yes it is,” Castiel said as he approached them and put them to sleep.
“It’s time to go,” you said and the three of you made your way to the truck, ready to begin the next chapter for Kelly and her child.
Alone in the Woods
Summary: The Reader was sent into a different realm two years ago, and when the Winchesters arrive, she has to try and accept that she is no longer alone. Characters: Dean, Sam, Castiel (mentioned), and Reader—no pairing Word Count: 3,486 Warnings: Kinda angsty because of internal dilemmas, description of anxiety/panic attack, but honestly, this is SFW. Author’s Note: Okay, this is, without a doubt, the weirdest SPN fic of mine to date. I combined two random prompts that I didn’t know what to write for, and this crazy thing happened. I’m honestly not sure what I think of it, but hopefully you guys like it? Very different from my usual. My first prompt was *Imagine a world where sharks swim in the forest and somehow you find yourself lost in the woods.* from @therealdeanwinchester13’s THEBOX challenge (which is still open and fics aren’t due until March 31st!) and @just-another-busy-fangirl’s 1k Celebration Musical Challenge where I chose “No One is Alone” from Into the Woods because I’m about to be in a community theater version of that show.
“I swear to Chuck, Sammy, if we can’t find a way back to our world soon…”
You ducked your head around the tree to see a tall man in plaid hacking his way through a low bush with a thick branch. If he were much louder, he was going to start a swarm.
“Dean, look at it this way. At least we’re together, and—“
“And nothing! Did you learn nothing from Charlie’s trip to Oz? Alternate worlds and mystic keys…who knows where the hell we are…except it’s not Hell, it’s not Heaven, and apparently, it’s out of cell phone range.”
An even taller man, you assumed the one who had spoken second, Sammy, pushed his way physically through the breach the first man had made.
It was exciting to see another human here, but these two would be lucky to survive the day without help. Especially if they kept being so agitated. Perhaps they were crazy—nothing of what they said made sense.
Of course, falling through a hole in a run-down house and finding yourself in a forest two years ago wasn’t exactly sane. You’d given up asking questions about whether this place was real or not. Survival was the key factor.
And these idiots, as strong and tough as they seemed, didn’t seem to realize that as pretty as the forest was, it held its own dangers.
You kept to the trees, walking from branch to branch above them, staying above the mid-level where the branches were thin from swarm activity. The men were walking on the ground and seemed completely unaware of you as you followed them from 15 feet above their heads in the canopy.
The one with the longer hair spoke next, his voice defensive, “the key didn’t look anything like the one Charlie used to open the door to Oz. And we’ve been wondering about that locked door off the storeroom for weeks. Besides, you were right there with me when I turned the key, so don’t blame—shh!”
He straightened looking around, and you instinctively did the same. You didn’t see any Big Fins at the moment, though a small school was about twenty yards away—non-predatory ones. When you looked back down again, you nearly fell out of your tree in surprise. Both men had vanished.
What the hell?
You hadn’t felt them grab your tree, and the next nearest was yards away in plain view. There’s no way they could have hidden those bodies in the bushes, and there was no scream or blood from an attack…
“Don’t move, whoever you are.”
You swiveled and found the one with the shorter hair, Dean, straddling a branch just below mid-level and aiming a gun at you. You hadn’t seen even a picture of a gun in years, but you remembered what they were, so you did as you had seen on television and carefully raised your hands into the air.
“Why were you following us? Where are we?” The taller one, Sammy, walked out from behind the tree trunk and locked eyes with you.
It was amazing to hear another human voice, and you struggled to find your own. It had been awhile. When you did start talking, it was in a quiet undertone, sure not to set off any vibrations.
“I was following you because you were drawing attention to yourself, and I wanted to help before you attracted any predators. We’re in a danger zone, and a Big Fin could be along at any minute. If you want to make it through the day, you should both follow me.”
The two men changed glances and the one in the tree slowly lowered his gun. You looked around again and saw a moving shadow in a neighboring tree’s foliage.
Shit.
You spared a quick thought for their reaction, and spoke in the most calming voice you could manage: “Please, do not over-react. Do not shoot your gun. Do not do anything. Just stay very, very still.”
You turned at a glacier speed, sinking slowly onto all fours on the wide branch you were on, then inching your way towards the shadow. You made a soft purring sound in your throat, a soothing vibration that you had used before on small beasts to calm them.
Movement. The leaves brushed aside and a young Blue-Tail slid through the branches and straight to you. You smiled and held out a hand, keeping your purring steady even though you heard the gasps and low curses behind you. You didn’t want this young one hurt if you could avoid it.
He was an inquisitive little guy, barely 4 foot long, maybe 6 months old. Just a baby, really. He swam through the air using his spread fins, his bright blue tail which had earned your name for his species wide and tall. He’d be a big boy one day. He got close enough to eye you and your outstretched hand, then turned, allowing your palm to scrape down his sandpapery side. You stayed calm, knowing that any agitation in the air currents, loud vibrations, sudden movements, would excite the shark to the point that he might attack.
Satisfied that you weren’t a threat he needed to defend himself from, and you were a bit too large to be appropriate for food, the young Blue-Tail turned and swam back through the foliage, on a hunt for something to feed his growing belly.
You let out small breath, relieved that had gone so well, and stopped your purring, turning towards the two strange visitors in this lonely world.
“That…that was a shark.”
“Yes. Please talk softly.”
You slowly descended to ground level as did the other man in the tree. It was uncomfortable for you down here now, but you knew you couldn’t abandon these two in the middle of the forest, especially if they knew a way to get back home.
Home. There wasn’t much back there for you. No family, no friends; you had been in that abandoned house looking for a place to sleep that night. But you missed people. You missed music and good food, cars and cities.
There was nothing here but woods, and sharks, and fish in the air. And of course, your cliff-face. Your home base…though it wasn’t home. Earth was home.
“Look, we all have questions, but this isn’t a safe place. Can we go somewhere else first?”
They were so much taller in person, towering over you. But their clothes still smelled like home, and their clean faces reminded you of why you wanted to go back. You were almost afraid to blink, afraid they would disappear and your chance would be gone.
Dean’s eyes were scanning the trees, wary of an attack. He was smarter than he looked.
Sammy was watching you, his eyes narrowed as he took in your slight form and ragged clothes. He nodded and you cocked your head sideways, looking at the pair of them. “You two are definitely tall enough, and climbing is the safest way. You wouldn’t believe how many of the big guys spend their time belly on the forest floor nosing through the leaves for scraps.”
You turned and scaled the tree again, and this time you felt the tree shake slightly as their weight added to it and you led the way up, then across from branch to wide branch, a highway more familiar to you than the ones from your old hometown.
--
“You’ve really been here for two years? All by yourself?” Sam, you’d learned he preferred that to what his brother had called him first, seemed to be honestly in awe of you. His eyes were sad, and you found yourself wanting to open up to him about your time here, to be completely honest.
“That’s my best guess, yeah. I don’t really have a way of to keep track, and the seasons are very subtle here. The leaves have changed and fallen like they do in Autumn back home twice, but that could easily be a different time range.” Your voice, raspy from disuse faded after that as you moved around your small cave, stepping over Dean’s outstretched legs to collect some fruit from the cubby hole you called your pantry. You shared with the brothers, then sat back down on the knee-high ledge you used for a bed.
“Well, time probably doesn’t run on the same schedule here anyway; other realms tend not to be on the—“
“Wait a second. Other realms? Do you guys make a habit of visiting places other than Earth? How many are there? And where am I?” You were getting angry now. You’d helped them, and, apparently, they were holding back on you.
The two men exchanged glances and Dean leaned forward, ready to answer the best he could. “We’re hunters back on Earth—basically, we track and kill monsters, ghosts, demons, etc. When they die, they get sent off Earth and somewhere else, depending on what they are, what they’ve done, or whatever. A few times, we’ve had to go to those places ourselves—either by accident as part of a job, like this time, or because we died on the job and—“
“Dean, TMI, man.” His brother cut him off. Sam reached out a hand to pat you on the shoulder and you jumped, unused to any kind of physical contact. He looked contrite as he withdrew his hand, and you shrugged off his wave of apology.
“We don’t know what this place is any more than you do, Y/N, though I’m amazed and impressed that you’ve survived on your own here. In our job, we’ve seen some crazy things, but what you did—“
“Yeah, speaking of,” Dean seemed excited now, as if he’d been waiting for a while to broach this topic, “that freaking shark was swimming through air. Is that a normal thing here? Sharks, swimming through the trees in a forest?”
You laughed at his expression and threw another piece of fruit at him. They looked kinda like apples, but they tasted more like grapes. You ate them all the time as a way to offset your diet of mostly small fish.
“As far as I can tell it’s me, the trees, and a bunch of airborne fish on this planet. Nothing seems to happen except the fish swim…or fly, I guess, and the sharks chase the fish. And from up here in my cave, I can look out at times and it’s like being in an aquarium. They actually stay away from the cliff—I think they don’t like the waterfall that’s maybe fifty yards away from here. That’s how I found this place; I was looking for somewhere near the water to stay.” You let your voice drift again, then continued when Sam and Dean both stared at you waiting for more.
“I thought I saw a whale once, right after I got here, but I was too nervous to go check it out. The Big Fins, the large sharks, they get to be around 40 feet long—when they start swarming together, I’ve seen whole trees get uprooted. They stay closer to the ground though, not up in the canopy—I think because the heavier they are, the harder it is for them to swim through the air? Or maybe they just don’t like the leaves on their skin,” you shrugged, “anyway, I’ve learned how to avoid them. They track major movement, loud sounds, vibrations through the air. Drums drive them into a frenzy. I’d hate to know what the sound of a gunshot would do—probably draw every Big Fin in from ten miles around.”
Dean had the decency to look embarrassed at that last jab, remembering how he’d held a gun on you.
The silence grew between the three of you. Silence you were used to, but in the last thirty minutes since you had invited them into your space, you hadn’t been able to stop the doubts from pummeling you.
You started every time one of them spoke above a whisper. When Sam had reached out in an innocent touch to comfort you, you had jumped like the yellow-spotted fish that bounced from leaf to leaf in the upper canopies. Hell, the idea of walking on the ground was so foreign to you now—how could you ever go back to your world?
All this time, you had been fighting to survive in this strange place, homesick for a world that had never really been kind to you.
You would fit in even less now.
Sam finally broke the silence, “Well, I bet you’ll be glad to get out of this crazy place, right?”
You licked your lips, struggling for a response. Finally, you came back with, “and how are you planning on that? How did you two even get here? Something about a key? And Oz…which, I’m assuming was a joke, cuz Dorothy and Toto were characters in a movie?”
Dean laughed, “actually Dorothy was a badass female hunter who went and started a rebellion in Oz, which is actually another realm like this one. They were totally real—and I think she and our friend Charlie had a thing going on—“ “Dean” Sam scolded, getting him back on track.
Dean nodded and continued, “anyway, there was this key that transformed any door it opened into a portal to Oz—we think that’s what happened here. We found an old key in one of the storage rooms of our bunker…which is kind of like a magical storehouse-slash-library-slash-home for us built by an organization that has a long tradition of fighting and studying the things that go bump in the night. Well, we thought this key just opened up a door we haven’t been able to get into, but when it did, well…we were in the woods. And the door was gone.”
You nodded, pretending this all made sense. You had yet to see a green witch on a broomstick, but hey, flying sharks, so who were you to judge?
“Okay, but you still haven’t answered how you plan on going back.” Sam looked at you funny, probably noticing how you hadn’t included yourself in that statement. You kept a straight face and didn’t acknowledge his stare. The doubts were still eating at you.
“Well, I haven’t seen any doors, or the damn key, since we got here, which means they probably got left when we got sucked into this place. We’ve got a friend, Castiel, who stays at the bunker and checks in regularly. When he can’t find us, he’ll figure it out.”
Castiel—what a weird name. “And what’s going to stop him from getting trapped here too?”
Dean opened his mouth, then closed it again, as if unsure how to answer the question. Or unsure if you would like what he had to say next. Sam was still looking at you funny, but when he chimed in, it was to answer your question instead of asking his own.
“Cass is an Angel, so he’s got some powers with inter-dimensional travel, and, what is probably more important in this instance, he’s got knowledge. Angels can manipulate time, travel between worlds, all sorts of things—so I don’t think Cass will get stuck. And he probably will be able to get all of us out.”
And there it was. Even Dean was catching on with the emphasis Sam had put on the word and the way he was looking at you now.
You munched into a fruit, buying yourself another minute to think. The longer they stared at you, waiting for an answer that you didn’t know, the more the anxiety built up inside you. You couldn’t do this. You could not fucking do this.
“I can’t do this. I can’t go back.” Your voice was louder than it should have been, louder than you allowed yourself to be in this place where any loud noise was a dinner bell for a predator.
“Y/N, what? What’s wrong?”
“I can’t got back there. I’ve got nothing, no one. I’m all alone—I’ll make mistakes, I’ve been on my own here so long, I can’t—“ you were practically hyperventilating, your voice coming out louder and louder, the words meshing together.
You forced yourself to stop, walking to the exit and climbing onto the nearest branch, ignoring the voices calling you as you went to the top of the tree, searching for air.
You needed air.
You had been up there for a few minutes before your breathing calmed. You focused on the clouds, the way the branches swayed, the leaves creating a green ocean, an ocean filled with life. There was beauty in this place. Maybe you should just stay here, you could be happy, right?
All alone, forever.
You felt the tree sway slightly and knew one of the brothers was trying to follow you. There was no way either one of them could get as high as you—they were too big, too heavy for the smaller branches. You debated staying out of reach, just staying in the treetop.
You forgot that they didn’t have to get close.
“Y/N. I need you to listen to me.” It was Dean. His voice was low enough not to be dangerous, but it carried up to you easily enough. With your head out of the branches and looking over the tree tops, it felt like you were still alone, even though you could hear him clearly.
“You don’t have to say anything. Just listen.
“I was once in a situation similar to yours; I was sent to a place called Purgatory—it wasn’t as nice as here, and the monsters that were there were actively trying to kill me. But I was alone, or it seemed that way. Cass, the friend we told you about, was sent there at the same time, but I couldn’t find him. He wouldn’t answer my prayers. I made another friend, and we eventually found Cass, but when we tried to break out… well, Cass got left behind. I didn’t want to do it, but people make mistakes, and it nearly killed me when I realized what had happened.”
Dean’s voice was thick with remembered emotion, and it centered you. You climbed down a few feet, looking past your legs to find him seated on a branch, starting at the tree trunk as he talked.
“Sometimes people get left in the wood… and I don’t think I could bear doing that twice in one lifetime. So, I’m asking you—if not for your own sake… will you come back with us? So I don’t have to live with the idea that we abandoned you here?”
That wasn’t what you wanted. You had just met the Winchesters, but you trusted them. You didn’t want to hurt them.
You climbed down lower, sitting just above him, and he looked up to meet your eyes this time, his green ones inquisitive. You searched for words to describe the doubts that still flooded your mind, the near panic that was only held at bay by your need to respond to his emotion.
“I don’t want to be alone anymore. But if I go back, I’ll still be alone.” It wasn’t the only problem, but it was the worst. You had adapted to the loneliness of this place—you were alone here because there was no other option. To go back to a world where there were options, only to be ignored and alone again like you had been before… you didn’t think you could take that.
“No one is alone. Truly. No one is alone. Do you think Sam and I are just going to wave goodbye? You’ve saved our lives. You’re skilled, strong, brave, resourceful, and we would never ever throw you out or make you feel unwelcomed.” Dean’s voice was fervent with sincerity and you were shocked out of your fears by his offer.
They wanted you with them?
“I can’t guide you. Now you’re on your own. Only me beside you, but still you’re not alone. We have to go back—there’s a world back there that needs our help, and we have a job to do. We want you to come with us, but we won’t force you. You decide what’s right. You decide what’s good. Just remember, someone is on your side, and you are not alone.”
Dean reached out a hand; not to touch or to pull, it was with a palm up, an invitation.
You thought over his argument, your life here, what your life could be. You looked at his hand, looked at the trees and your cave, then back into his eyes.
Then you reached out and clasped his palm.
Things will come out right now. We can make it so. Someone is on your side No one is alone.
