Fun fact about me: I have a shelf in my library dedicated solely to architecture, fine art, yachting and yacht design, and antiques
#ive been reviewing my collection because i bought more books so i need to make roooooom#the yachting books are all hand-me-downs from my grandfather because he's a big sailing guy. all sail-yachts because motor yachts are ick#other highlights include#four copies of vanity fair (the oldest being from 1884)#thirty seven discworld books#the department of agriculture's report from 1881#the original instruction manual for my 1904 sewing machine#a giant scrapbook of newspaper clippings in an old ledger from the 1910s#i am a packrat but a tidy and aesthetically pleasing one#mood#if it would be of interest i can share photos
